DEPORTIVO DE A CORUÑA
Deportivo is the club which represents the town of A Coruña It is one hundred years old It was founded in _1906 but with other name Real club Deportivo “ Sala Calvet “ ,which it was an important gym in those days Along its history it was in lower categories during different periods. People called it “ lift team” 30_years ago ,because one year it went up and the year after it went down the level of division But since 1990 it has been a very competitive team For example It got two Spanish cups in 1995 and 2000 It got one league in 1999/2000 It got two Spanish super cups in 1995 and 2002 It was sub champion during five leagues It got very good classifications in European Champions League during 2000, 2001 and 2003 It had very good international footballers Brazilians like Bebeto and Mauro Silva. Yugoslavians like Djukic Dutch like Makaay ( Nowadays he plays in Bayer Munich) And he always gave good players to the Spanish national team. This year , it´s not having the best of its existence because results are not as good as the last periods but people hope it gets better and once again it becomes superdepor.
The Riazor Stadium has a capacity for 34600 people . It was rebuilt , during the World Football Championship of 1982 , because A Coru単a was site of some matches , by the way , Poland was one of the teams which played in this site ,in that year , it was a really good team !! .
