Silesia: it is a region which is located along upper and middleOder river, upper Vistula river and along theSudetes, Carpathian mountain range. However, thebiggest cities of Silesia areWrocław and Katowice. Modern Silesia is inhabited mostly by Poles and Silesians, but also by minorities of Germans, Czechs and Moravians.
Silesia can bedivided into two parts: - Upper Silesia (its capital: Katowice) and - Lower Silesia (its capital: Wrocław).
Silesia also has its own languge, which is called: Silesian’s languageand it has a formof somekind of local dialect. This langugeis used by older pepopleor by peoplewho livein the countries (small villages).
Silesia is famous for many coal mines. Most men worked in mines few years ago and it was themain sourceof their livelihood.
