Exchange in THE UK
UK
History, tradition and great schools – it’s all right here
The UK is beautiful with vibrant cities, romantic countryside as well as fascinating history and traditions. Pick up a British accent, enjoy typical Sunday roasts and prepare for lots of Premier League talk.
Learn for Life in the uk
You’ll be enrolled in classes that suit your level and previous knowledge. You’ll be required to study maths and English but will be free to choose other subjects you want to pursue. Many exchange students appreciate the formality and traditional character of British high schools because it adds to their cultural experience. Uniforms are mandatory in some schools and addressing your teachers with “Mrs., Mr., and Ms.” is the standard.
More than just London
The capital city of London is truly impressive, but the UK has much more to offer. Beautiful landscapes and medieval towns, along with an incredible coastline make the country diverse and perfect for trips and excursions.
Experience the Classic exchange in the uk
In the UK we offer the Classic High School program, which provides the traditional exchange experience. You’ll live with a caring host family and attend a high school near your new home. You’ll be immersed each day in a new culture and share meals and other daily rituals with your host family. Throughout your entire exchange, you’ll be supported in both your home and host country by our One Team Across the Globe, who will work together to ensure you have a safe and successful exchange.
“I have met so many amazing people, and not just from the UK. I have befriended other exchange students from places like Norway, Finland and Italy which has been so interesting. It has given me a wider perspective of the world. I have been able to travel so much of the country already and even went overseas on a school trip. This new found independence has allowed me to develop socially and improve my coping skills.“
