Colorado averages hosting 30-40 students per year. Colorado offers skiing, snowboarding, hiking, cycling and many other outdoor activities. While Colorado gets snow in the winters, we also average 320 days of sunshine each year. Colorado offers hiking and walking trails all throughout the state. We have the Rocky Mountains, Pikes Peak, many hot springs, lakes, rivers and waterfalls. Horseback riding is a favorite past time for many as well. Colorado also offers many professional sporting teams. We have the Denver Broncos football team, the Rockies baseball team, the Colorado Avalanche Ice Hockey team as well as the Colorado Rapids major league soccer team. Colorado Springs is also home to the U.S. Olympic Training Center. In Denver, we have a symphony hall and art museums. Colorado is a beautiful and magical state to live in. We have many fun events planned for our 2018-2019 students coming in the fall. We have our annual camping trip, our annual Winter Park trip to the mountains to snowboard and ice skate, we will be feeding the homeless, having a cultural dinner and game night, we will go to the Cripple Creek Ice Sculpture Festival, we will go hiking at the famous Garden of the Gods, attend the annual hot air balloon festival, go to the Zoo and of course have fun at our annual Halloween and Christmas parties.

Statements from a few current students in Colorado:

I wasn't sure what to expect coming to Colorado but I am so happy I did. I have been able to see so many amazing places and every day I get to see beautiful views of the mountains. Everyone is so nice and friendly here. My school is so much fun. I go to school sporting games with my friends and we have a big cheering section. The school spirit has been my favorite thing and I will miss it so much. My host family and friends are great too. I will miss Colorado and everyone here.Nicole (Westminster, CO)

I LOVE Colorado. There is always something to do here. We go and explore almost every weekend and there is still so much I haven't seen yet. School is so much fun and easier than I thought it would be. The teachers are nice and help us exchange students. I have played football and now rugby. My family loves to cycle all over Colorado's trails and I think it is the best way to see the state. If I knew what I know now, I would have requested to come to Colorado. It really is a secret that everyone should know. Matthias (Denver, CO)
