Scholarship Guide: Studying in Australia SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN AUSTRALIA

MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS The International Undergraduate Scholarships were established by the University of Melbourne in recognition of the significant contribution made by international students to the diversity of the university’s student population.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of countries other than Australia and New Zealand and are not a permanent resident of Australia; Applicants must have received an unconditional offer for an undergraduate course and must have achieved excellent final year school results.

AWARD: The University awards around 30 scholarships with a $10,000 tuition fee remission in the first year of an undergraduate degree and around 10 scholarships with a 100% tuition fee remission for the normal full-time duration of an undergraduate degree. ADELAIDE SCHOLARSHIPS INTERNATIONAL (ASI) The University of Adelaide offers Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) to attract high quality overseas postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide to support its research efforts.

LA TROBE COLLEGE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS The La Trobe College Excellence Scholarship (CES) is a scholarship available to international students to cover tuition fees for high-achieving international students accepted into their undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs.

Scholarship Guide: Studying in Canada SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN CANADA

HUMBER INTERNATINAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS Humber College in Toronto, Canada offers full and partial tuition scholarships to international undergraduate students. The scholarships are divided throughout their three semester intakes each year (Winter, Summer, Fall). Applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, referee/reference letters and statement of interest.

•

ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to students coming directly from high school/secondary school studies, who are non-transfer students (i.e. haven’t attended college or university, or studied in Humber’s EAP program), and are unlimited in quantity. Humber awards degree scholarships automatically to graduating high school students based on academic achievement.

•

RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS International students who apply to study at Russian universities are eligible to apply for state funded scholarships that are a limited number. THE DENYS HOLLAND SCHOLARSHIP The Denys Holland Scholarship aims to support undergraduate students from any country, who without the support of the scholarship would be unable to secure the funding required to study at UCL, and who can demonstrate their intention to make full use of the activities offered by UCL and the Student Union.
