Dispose of your tissue as soon as possible.

Hands can transfer germs to every surface you touch. Clean your hands as soon as you can.

Healthy habits help you stay healthy.

1) B lock it Germs spread easily. Always carry tissues paper and use them to cough or sneeze.

2) D iscard it Germs can live for several hours in tissues.

Throw the used tissue in a waste basket.

3) K ill it Hands can leave germs on every surface you touch. Wash your hands as much as possible.

In case of fire 1) EF International Language Schools implements a self-evacuation policy. When the alarm bell rings, leave the building immediately, trough the closest exit, assemble outside and stay off the driveway.

2) Do not take bags or coats with you. Follow the signs marked FIRE EXIT. If you must go downstairs, keep to the right move quickly and calmly.

Walk – do not run.

3) Your teacher will check your name against the list. Do not re-enter the building for any reason and stay on the lawn until receiving further instruction from a staff member.

No smoking, alcohol or drugs These three items are not allowed in the residence at any time. EF reserves the right to confiscate any item as deemed necessary for the safety and well being of all students. Note that it is illegal to tamper with smoke detectors or fire alarms. In addition, you may not smoke near the front entrance and must be at least 15 feet away from the building due to city law.

Quite hours are 10pm to 8am This includes the front lobby, stairwell, private rooms, sixth floor lounge and the sidewalk in front of the building. All guests must exit the building by 10pm.

Please respect your fellow residents and observe these quite hours every day.

Housekeeping schedule 1st floor Sunday RAs will perform room checks: please clear everything off your desk, floor and bathroom surfaces so that housekeeping can properly clean the room.

Monday Housekeeping will be cleaning your room, so please ensure that everything is ready.

Housekeeping may also enter your room on Saturday or Sunday to prepare the space fr another student. You cannot deny them access.

If needed, please ask for a moment to get ready and step out of the room. Make sure to keep the room clean and the bed untouched for your new roommate. If you have any issues regarding housekeeping, please see an RA.

EF Resident Advisors (RAs) and the Hub reception staff are here to help you with any questions, so please ask! The staff i this building should be your FIRST point of contact for any maintenance issues or other concerns. EF staff reserve the right to enter rooms at any time, unannounced or via regular room checks which are typically 7pm - 10pm.

If your roommate hasn't returned home for a day or more, let your Residence Advisor or school staff member know immediately.
