Intended for high school graduates, this program bridges the gap between your previous education and what is expected of you at a university abroad. This preparation year of secondary school studies is mandatory for most international students seeking higher education in the United Kingdom and highly recommended for students who wish to study in Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia, France, or Germany.

The EF Undergraduate Transfer Diploma is a 3- or 4-term (approx. 9 or 11 months) program designed to help you start your university experience abroad. You’ll gain the necessary entrance requirements to apply to institutions around the world or take a dedicated pathway with direct entry into Colorado State University (CSU). Each route is designed to support your success and prepare you for university study abroad.

To complete the four CSU modules in term 3, you’ll need to reach B2 CEFR level in English. Your first two terms are designed to help you reach this while also preparing you for university-level study. If you’re a complete beginner to English, you can add a language term to the start of your program to help you reach the required language level.

Secure transferable university credits You’ll earn up to 27 university credits, creating a strong pathway into your second year at CSU or to other institutions that recognize American credits. It’s a flexible option for students who want to keep their future study plans open while making steady progress toward their degree.

Seamlessly transfer to CSU After successfully completing the Undergraduate Transfer Diploma at EF Singapore, you can seamlessly transfer to CSU, a public research university in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA. The program is designed for students across a range of majors, especially those with an interest in business, management, computer science, and the social sciences.

Learn from Colorado State University faculty Learn through a combination of EF’s experienced teachers and expert CSU subject specialists. Accelerated College Pathway Program Earn a US high school diploma and an associate’s degree one year faster than the traditional route through an intensive language and academic program starting at EF New York. Program details 32 lessons of 40 minutes/week during phase one Program duration 2, 3, or 4 terms (approx. 6, 9, or 11 months) (first phase) followed by two years of study at one of EF’s four partner colleges. Experience authentic campus life

The EF Accelerated College Pathway Program provides students who have not yet graduated from high school with the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an associate’s degree in the United States. An associate’s degree is a two-year undergraduate qualification that serves as a stepping stone to a bachelor’s degree or entry-level employment. By following this accelerated path, students can earn both their diploma and degree approximately one year ahead of the standard academic path.

While enrolled in the second phase of the EF Accelerated College Pathway Program, you’ll be living and learning alongside American students as you gain further English fluency and earn your associate’s degree. You’ll choose between studying on the campuses of Green River College, Seattle Central College, Pierce College, or Bellevue College, all of which are located in Washington State. You’ll work closely with your University Pathways Advisor to determine your academic discipline and how best to apply your academic credentials.

The program is divided into two phases. The first phase of study takes place at EF New York, where you’ll strengthen and reinforce your English fluency and academic writing skills. Phase two involves two years of academic study at one of our American partner colleges. You’ll earn your high school diploma and associate’s degree at a partner university.

Boris has a double Master’s degree in German studies and Philosophy and is currently working on his doctoral thesis. He has worked as a teacher at several language institutes, including the Goethe Institute. Boris helps our students to master the German language at the level they need to pass their German exam, apply to universities in German-speaking countries, and to get their desired degree.

Cassandra has first-hand knowledge of what it takes to successfully apply to universities in North America. She collaborates with our University Pathways Advisors, guiding hundreds of students to apply and gain admissions to prestigious schools like NYU, BU, Virginia Tech, and more. Cassandra holds a BA in Sociology, an MS Ed in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and studied in Italy during her undergraduate studies.

Sylvia has worked in education for over two decades in both teaching and leadership roles. She holds a BA in geography, CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certifications, and a master’s in applied linguistics. 2005 Our unique blended learning method is launched, going on to win various prestigious academic awards over the years.

1988 EF is the official language school of the Seoul Summer Olympics, EF's first of many Olympic appointments.

1965 EF is founded in Sweden by Bertil Hult. He brought a group of Swedish students to Brighton, England. The idea was simple — they would learn English while traveling on holiday.

1998 EF sponsors two sailboats in the Whitbread Round the World Race, EF Language (which wins first place) and EF Education (the first female-only crew).

2009 The EF Research Lab for Applied Language Learning is established at the University of Cambridge’s Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics.
