Syrian Forearms Organization Our Hands Are Our Story
We are :
Relief and developmental, non-profit organization working in Syria, concerning in aiding society’s troops of children, women, adolescents and youth who are under risk, as well as it is animated in emergency cases and in the current war circumstances .
The vision: Empowering the members of target groups who are most under risk people, and improve the standard of living of the mentioned families.
The Organization logo: Participation is a responsibility, toward a society directing himself by himself.
Values of the work in the Organization: Participation Transparency Professional and occupational in work.
The target groups: Children aged (1-9) years. Adolescents (9-19) years . Youth (19-35) . Women in general , and especially pregnant mothers. Oldsters people.
Active areas: The activity of the organization is localized in areas suffering from siege and war and they are: • eastern Ghota (Damascus country) Doma, Erbeen, Zamalka,Zabdeen,Hammoreh • South of Damascus (Bebela,Yelda,BetSahm,Yarmouk statement) • Homs ( alwa'ar)until 2017 • Edlib /Ariha
• Northern rural of Aleppo /Albab
Aims: First: relief program 1-provide-in kind assistance to the poorest families of the impact. 2- Aiding the Syrian war and destruction victims by offering financial aids to guaranty martyrs children, detainees and war harmers . 3- Clothing poor people and the neediest families by performing seasonal charitable projects. 4- Working on developing, analyzing, and updating data about needy people situations in each area. 5- Offering medical aids to local hospitals and centers.
Second: developmental program. 1-organising projects and activities to enable woman and child in healthy, social and educative fields. 2- Working on improving the situation of most needy families by supporting some small projects. 3- Organizing projects and training activities for orphans, obstructers and families. 4- Working on executing special youngsters and adolescents programs (male, female) concentrating on those who are involved in weapons. 5-improing special program of children, youngsters and women psychological support including war harmer.
Third educational field: 1-supporting educative operation in war and besieged areas.
2- Supporting existing schools with necessary requirements and instruments to keep them working continuously. 3- Founding of educational projects, concentrating on children and adolescents who have left schools. 4-training of educational staffs and contributing in improving their capabilities. 5-supporting wiping out illiteracy projects and girls education.
Forth health and medical field: 1- supporting the working medical section in siege and war areas by requirements and instruments. 2-supporting medical stuffs by incentives and contribution in their protection. 3-supporting health enlightens charges and general cleanness. 4-founding medical projects to provide in care to injured, wounded , ills and periodical testes.
Fifth productive field: 1-supporting animal and agricultural projects. 2-supporting small workshops and local occupations. 3- Supporting aqueous areas projects investment and re-cycling ruins.
Sixth in social and cultural field: 1-supporting cultural projects and activities (theatres, singing, libraries). 2- working on strengthen dialogue, participating conceptions, and the acceptance of others who are different. 3- Strengthen women role in social and education field. 4-building up community initiatives and confirming participation and solidarity values.
