To qualify for MBBS seats, applicants must complete the NEET UG entrance exam. Candidates who pass the NEET UG entrance exam must sign up for counseling at MCC India and/or KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority). Candidate options for selecting their preferred institutes will be presented after registration is complete. Based on the candidates’ selections and additional considerations like NEET scores, the counseling authorities would subsequently allocate seats based on availability.
There will be two rounds of counseling; if a candidate is not chosen in round 1, they may register and choose again in round 2. After the first two counseling rounds, if there are still seats left, the counseling authority will conduct mop-up rounds.
