The One-Hour Vacation

When Kerry Reinoehl celebrated her 50th birthday in Mexico with 35 of her closest friends, she didn’t expect the trip to spark her next business. After several guests fell ill with food poisoning, a concierge recommended an on-site IV hydration station. Within hours, those who received treatment rejoined the group— laughing, glowing and ready for cocktails by the pool. “I was shocked,” Reinoehl recalls. “They went from pale and miserable to completely transformed. I couldn’t believe how quickly it worked.”

(promotional content)

Back home in Indiana, curiosity turned into commitment. She began journaling her own IV sessions, documenting each blend and its effects. Over time, she noticed remarkable improvements, including deeper sleep, renewed energy, stronger hair and nails, and complete relief from post-menopausal symptoms. “It wasn’t just hydration,” she says. “It was whole-body wellness from the inside out.”

That revelation led to Prime IV Hydration & Wellness, which Kerry and her husband, Jeff Reinoehl, opened in Carmel at The Bridges near Market District. Their second location debuts this fall at The Farms in Zionsville, with a third set to open in Noblesville by year’s end.

The Reinoehls are no strangers to business ownership—Kerry previously operated 45 Sport Clips Haircuts franchises across four states, as well as several Painting with a Twist studios where she was named 2023 International Franchisee of the Year, while Jeff has operated a mortgage company for more than three decades. “We balance each other out,” she says with a smile. “He’s the numbers guy who keeps things running smoothly, and I’m focused on creating connection and experience.”

That synergy shapes every Prime IV visit. Guests are welcomed into a serene, spalike space and greeted with a warm towel and chilled, fruitinfused water before meeting privately with a registered

nurse. Once seated in zerogravity massage chairs, which recline, knead and cocoon the body while gentle music plays, clients receive a customized IV infusion of vitamins, minerals and electrolytes. “You walk out feeling lighter, clearer and completely refreshed,” says Jeff, adding that just like fitness, the benefits build with consistency.

“Most people don’t realize how little their bodies actually absorb from traditional oral vitamins,” Kerry says, explaining that when taken by mouth, nutrients have to pass through the gastrointestinal tract, where stomach acids and enzymes break down much of their potency before they ever reach the bloodstream. “IV hydration therapy changes that,” she

continues. The powerful blend of vitamins, minerals and fluids delivered directly into the bloodstream allows for nearly 100% absorption. The result? A faster, more effective boost in energy, recovery, hydration and overall wellness.”

Prime IV offers more than 30 vitamins and minerals, from high-dose Vitamin C for immunity; to B-complex blends for energy; and specialty drips for anti-aging, recovery and metabolic support. “The beauty is that it’s completely personalized,” Kerry explains. “Our nurses learn about your goals and lifestyle, then build the formula your body needs. No two drips are alike.” Each Prime IV spa is overseen by a medical director to ensure the highest standards of care and safety. For those short on time, quick vitamin injections deliver a concentrated boost in minutes. Tiered memberships make regular treatments easy and affordable, with plans for one, two or four monthly drips, plus add-ons and family sharing.

For Kerry, the transformation remains personal and deeply motivating. “After six months of IV therapy, my hot flashes and night sweats disappeared. My skin looked brighter, my joints stopped aching, and I felt like myself again,” she says. “That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing it with others.” As more people embrace proactive wellness,

IV therapy has emerged as a modern essential for energy, recovery and longevity. “We’re all managing full lives with work, family, stress,” Kerry says. “For one hour, you can sit back, breathe, and let your body absorb what it truly needs. It’s luxury with purpose.”

Visit the Carmel Prime IV Hydration & Wellness in The Bridges and, beginning this fall, in Zionsville’s The Farms. Learn more at primeivhydration.com or follow @primeivcarmel and @primeivzionsville for updates and opening details.

the power pink

From her Carmel City Center headquarters, Indy Homes

founder Kristie Smith pairs data-driven strategy with fearless creativity—transforming homes, elevating lives, and proving that bold ideas never go out of style.

When Kristie Smith left a thriving corporate marketing career to become a REALTOR®, she didn’t just change jobs—she changed how real estate was done. “Before real estate, I worked in healthcare marketing, where every decision was evidence-based,” she says. “You couldn’t do a campaign without focus groups or data. I brought that same mindset to real estate.”

Within a few short years, her analytical approach and unshakable work ethic made Indy Homes one of Indiana’s top real estate brands. Known for her signature pink branding and upbeat energy, Kristie built a business rooted in what she calls evidence-based real estate—a blend of data, psychology and intuition. “Buying a home is 100% emotional,” she explains.

(promotional content)

“You can give people a checklist of everything they think they want, but when they walk in the right house, they just know. It’s the same as dating. You can’t always explain why it feels right, but it does.”

That understanding led to her hallmark Home Transformation Program, where Kristie and her team walk room-by-room through a home, outlining exactly what needs to be done to attract the right buyer and maximize equity. They manage the entire process, from paint and lighting to staging and landscaping, all without charging clients a management fee or markup. “We don’t charge for project management,” Kristie says, "because we believe it’s our fiduciary responsibility to net our clients the most money. It not only preserves their net worth but also protects the value of their neighbors’ homes and the greater community.”

The results prove her point. Indy Homes listings routinely sell within days, often well above asking price. “When you understand that buyers are emotional, you stop selling houses and you start creating experiences,” she says. “We transform homes to create that moment when a buyer walks in and instantly knows this is the one.”

Kristie’s confidence was shaped not only by success, but by resilience. In 2015, she and her husband, Andrew Smith, an anesthesiologist with IU Health, lost their home in a devastating fire. “We literally lost everything we owned,” she recalls. “It was a fluke accident, and it changed everything.” They rebuilt in Zionsville, creating what she calls “our lemonade

out of lemons.” Yet several years later, the couple opted for a complete lifestyle shift, selling their dream home and embracing the walkable, urban energy of Carmel City Center, where they now live in an executive condo. “I love the urban, walkable life,” Kristie says. “We’re steps from the Monon Trail, and I can walk to my office.”

From her condo windows, Kristie watched as The Wren Building took shape next to Hotel Carmichael. She envisioned it as the perfect home for the Indy Homes brokerage, until the developer told her the coveted corner suite was reserved for retail.

For Kristie, that wasn’t the end of the story. It was the beginning of another. “I wanted that spot so much,” she says with a laugh. “And then I thought, if not me, then who?” So she signed two leases instead of one, placing Indy Homes in one suite and creating a boutique retail concept for the corner. The result is a seamless, glasswalled space that can open into a shared event venue complete with full kitchen, AV system, and room for up to 50 guests. “We can host private sip-and-shops, chef dinners, runway shows or corporate events,” she says. “It’s incredible.”

That corner space became VERVE, a luxury women’s boutique Kristie launched this August. Though retail was a new venture, her aesthetic intuition was already well-honed. “Whether you’re dressing a house or dressing a person, it’s very similar. It’s about transformation and confidence,” she says. In partnership with California Closets, both spaces gleam with crystal chandeliers and pink accents—a reflection of Kristie’s signature color and

From luxury homes to curated fashion, Kristie Smith brings her signature pink aesthetic and entrepreneurial energy to everything she touches.

unstoppable optimism. “I’m known as the pink girl,” she laughs. “It’s my signature in real estate, and it’s the color of VERVE too.”

VERVE features a curated mix of elevated labels and collections personally selected by Kristie, who travels to New York for buying trips, ensuring every piece aligns with her eye for style and substance. “I wanted VERVE to feel like shopping in SoHo—beautiful, elevated, but approachable,” she says. “We don’t just sell clothes. We style women…It’s about helping them love how they look.”

Though VERVE brings a new dimension to her brand, Kristie emphasizes that her heart remains in real estate. “My primary identity in the community is as a real estate agent,” she says. “VERVE is an extension of that—another way to create experiences and bring people joy.”

The first in her family to attend and graduate college (her mother didn’t finish high school) Kristie still credits education as the “eternal equalizer of humanity.” With degrees in Marketing from Purdue University and Bible & Theology from Lincoln Christian University, she’s built her success on hard work, curiosity and faith. “I’ve been blessed in ways I couldn’t have imagined,” adding that both businesses donate 10 percent of profits off the top to charity, with most going to local organizations focused on faith, education and basic needs. Additionally, VERVE will be participating in the Carmel High School Dance Marathon Runway for Riley show in November, donating store proceeds to help fund pediatric cancer research. That mix of gratitude and grit continues to define

her. She says, “I know in my heart and soul I was put on this earth to make things happen, create smiles, and enjoy the amazing journey.”

Find Indy Homes and VERVE inside The Wren Building at Carmel City Center, just steps from Hotel Carmichael and the Monon Trail. Whether buying, selling or relocating, Kristie Smith and her team bring evidence-based strategy and heart to every transaction. VERVE at City CEntER

A bright, pink-accented boutique with SoHo flair, VERVE brings curated luxury labels (Dorothee Schumacher, L’Agence, Go Silk and Mother Denim) to downtown Carmel. The shop shares a glass wall with Kristie Smith’s Indy Homes office, transforming into an event venue for sip-and-shop gatherings, chef dinners and runway nights. “It’s about creating beautiful experiences,” Kristie explains. “Whether it’s a home or a wardrobe, the goal is the same: confidence, joy and connection.” The boutique’s name pays tribute to jazz icon Ella Fitzgerald and her creation of Verve Records. “I wanted something that tied to the Great American Songbook since we’re part of the Hotel Carmichael,” Kristie says. “Verve means ‘high energy’ in French— which is definitely my personality.”

Piedra

Mexican Steakhouse

The newest concept from the Aréchiga Restaurant Group, Piedra brings refined Mexican dining to the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Located in the vibrant Bottleworks District, it’s a destination that blends heritage with modern sophistication. “It’s a place where history and innovation coexist—much like how Piedra honors traditional Mexican flavors while presenting them in a modern way,” says owner Paul Aréchiga. The luxe interior features natural stone, warm textures and sculptural lighting, creating a timeless yet contemporary atmosphere that feels equally suited for intimate dinners and grand celebrations.

The menu highlights elevated interpretations of regional Mexican cuisine. Signature dishes include the Molcajete, a sizzling stone bowl filled with grilled meats, seafood and roasted vegetables, and the Filete Mignon con Mole Madre, a tender steak complemented by a deeply layered sauce rooted in Mexican tradition. Desserts, such as the rich and creamy Tres Leches Cake, offer a decadent finish to the experience. Plush, oversized booths and generous tables invite guests to linger over multiple courses, while attentive service ensures every detail feels personal.

Designed with celebration in mind, Piedra offers flexible group reservations, private dining, curated set menus and customizable cocktail pairings, perfect for holiday gatherings or sophisticated nights out downtown. “This project is the culmination of passion, tradition and creativity,” says Aréchiga. “Bringing Piedra to life in Indianapolis is a dream come true, and I’m thrilled for everyone to finally experience it.”

Visit Piedra at 820 Massachusetts Avenue in the Bottleworks District of downtown Indianapolis. For menus and reservations visit piedra.restaurant and follow @piedrarestaurantindy on Instagram.

Josephine

Step inside Josephine, and the glow of candlelight and soft chatter instantly transports you somewhere special. Perhaps not Paris, but close enough to imagine it. Nestled in the heart of the Carmel Arts & Design District, this authentic bistro invites guests to linger over beautiful food, fine wine and the warmth of shared company. During the holidays, the space feels especially magical— cozy, but still sophisticated; intimate, yet alive with energy.

Seasonal dishes capture the comfort and richness of winter dining. Chefs Andrew Popp and Dan Ryan have crafted a stunning Coq au Vin, while freshly shucked oysters (served with a trio of strawberry mignonette, horseradish cocktail sauce and a signature Bloody Mary oyster sauce) offer a bright, briny start to any celebration. The kitchen’s creativity shines through each plate, complemented by a thoughtful wine list and a cocktail menu that leans French, fun and a little festive.

“Josephine is designed to look elegant but feel approachable,” says co-owner Daniel Cage, sharing that it’s the perfect space to try something new and exciting without going too far from your comfort zone. Every detail, from the art-lined walls to the warm, intuitive service, reflects that balance between refinement and ease. During this season of celebration, the Josephine team delights in making every gathering feel personal and memorable. “We are so grateful for the warm welcome that the Carmel community has given us this first year of service,” says Cage, adding, “We’ve shared so many special moments with our guests and can’t wait to celebrate many more nights with Carmel.”

Plan your winter rendezvous at Josephine, located at 110 W. Main Street, Suite 100, in the Carmel Arts & Design District. Visit josephinecarmel.com or follow @eatjosephine_carmel for menus, reservations and updates.

The Fountain Room Supper

Club

Where Mass Ave meets the buzzing Bottleworks District, you’ll find The Fountain Room. This modern supper club captures the golden age of dining, where a night out still felt like an event and service was as memorable as the meal. Here, Blake Fogelsong (third-generation restaurateur and owner/director of operations with Clancy’s Hospitality) seeks to bring back the art of the dinner party with glowing chandeliers, indulgent menus, and a timeless sense of occasion. “It’s elegant without being pretentious, nostalgic without feeling dated—a place that feels alive the moment you step inside,” says Fogelsong.

Guests come here to celebrate anniversaries, business wins, or nights that simply deserve something special. The menu doubles down on supper club classics like steaks, seafood, chops and shareable sides, reimagined through quality sourcing and presentation. Single-sourced Angus, Fischer Farms pork, and Starlight Apple Brandy all make an appearance, alongside Midwestern favorites and subtle global influences—kabayaki sauces, saffron aioli, tamarind marinades and miso glazes. “It’s aspirational but comfortable,” Fogelsong shares. “We still believe in the power of a really good meal.” The cocktail (and mocktail) program is equally transportive with seasonal favorites.

The Fountain Room welcomes private dinners, corporate events and full buyouts, perfect for a polished holiday gathering. Next Spring, Fogelsong and his team are expanding again with The Pretender, a Hi-Fi cocktail lounge opening in Historic Downtown Noblesville, a stylish new chapter in Clancy Hospitality’s story.

Find The Fountain Room at 830 Massachusetts Avenue in the Bottleworks District of downtown Indianapolis. For menus and reservations, visit thefountainroom.com and follow @the.fountain.room on Instagram. For private events, contact carley@clancyshospitality.com.

Lone Pine Modern Steak House

At Lone Pine, Carmel City Center’s modern American steakhouse, culinary precision meets warm, down-to-earth hospitality. And during the holidays, it becomes one of Carmel’s most inviting places to gather. This inspired concept from sommelier and restaurateur Josh Mazanowski (also co-owner of Beholder, a James Beard semifinalist for its outstanding wine program) pairs artfully crafted food with a relaxed, celebratory spirit. “Our 1920s-inspired décor, cozy lighting and welcoming atmosphere make every gathering feel special,” says Mazanowski. “It’s elevated, yet comfortable. Festive without the fuss.”

Perfect for seasonal celebrations, Lone Pine offers a chef-driven menu and sommelier-curated wine list designed for both intimate dinners and large gatherings. Upstairs, a private dining space known as The Sanctuary Room accommodates groups of 10 to 50 guests in a stunning setting, featuring high ceilings, chandeliers and views into the restaurant’s impressive wine cellar. “Whether you’re hosting a corporate party or celebrating with friends, it’s a space that feels refined, but personal,” Mazanowski notes.

The holiday menu highlights modern American favorites alongside luxurious seasonal features, from the signature 32-ounce Tomahawk steak to Japanese Wagyu and house-made pasta finished with European winter truffles. Sundays bring Italian Pasta Night with family-style favorites like carbonara and bolognese, while Wednesdays celebrate wine lovers with specials on bottles. And for toasting the season, Lone Pine’s Champagne and sparkling wine list ensures there’s always reason to raise a glass. “At Lone Pine, we believe that great food, wine and company are the heart of every celebration,” says Mazanowski. “Our goal is to make every experience relaxed, memorable and full of flavor.”

Tipsy Mermaid & noah grant’s Seafood, Spirits and Coastal Charm

In downtown Zionsville, restaurateur Shari Jenkins has created two distinct dining destinations that celebrate her passion for food, hospitality, and a touch of coastal escape.

Her newest venture, Tipsy Mermaid Conch House & Cocktails, brings a splash of Key West flair with tropical décor, rum-forward cocktails, and vibrant island-inspired dishes. Festive island décor, creative cocktails, and flavorful plates like Lobster and Shrimp Dip, Miss Key West Drunkin’ Key West Pink shrimp, and the crowd-favorite Old Man & the Steak bring warmth to winter nights. Upstairs, an intimate dining area seats up to 14 for rum, wine, and oyster tastings, while weekend brunch and weekday Happy Hour add even more reasons to escape. “Our restaurant shines during the holidays with its vibrant, tropical ambiance,” says Jenkins. “It’s an island escape from the traditional — fun, flavorful, and festive.” With its lively soundtrack, friendly service, and sun-washed palette, Tipsy Mermaid feels like a quick trip to the coast — no airfare required.

Just a block away, every meal feels like an occasion at noah grant’s grill house & oyster bar. Here, Jenkins pairs refined comfort with seafood sophistication. The restaurant’s world-class oyster bar features oysters flown in daily from both coasts, while sustainably sourced sushi and fresh filets make every visit special. “Celebrating at noah grant’s is a treat for families and friends,” Jenkins says. Seasonal favorites include nightly seafood specials and the return of the famous all-youcan-eat snow crab leg nights. A private dining room for up to 20 guests sets the stage for festive gatherings, while a catering menu brings noah grant’s to your home.

A DESIGN LEGACY

Two generations and nearly fifty years of commitment to community

As Drexel Interiors enters a new era of leadership, the family-owned firm continues to balance innovation with its deep-rooted commitment to service, craftsmanship and community at their new Carmel showroom.

(promotional content)

From the beginning, Drexel Interiors’ philosophy has centered on one simple idea: service first. “We are a service company before anything else,” says founder Al Weisenburger, explaining that the cornerstone of the company’s success is their unwavering commitment to helping customers achieve their goals. Rather than chasing trends, the team has continually expanded offerings by listening to customers’ needs—an approach that has guided every hire, product line and partnership over the decades.

For nearly half a century, Drexel Interiors has been helping homeowners, builders and developers create inspired spaces with craftsmanship, care and a personal touch. Founded in the late 1970s, the company has grown from a small local operation into a comprehensive interior solutions provider serving clients across nearly 20 states. Today, nearly 100 employees work across three thriving divisions: Commercial, which specializes in multifamily flooring, cabinets, and trim sales and installation nationwide; Builder, which focuses on remodel and new construction projects throughout Indiana; and Retail, which provides home upgrade services to homeowners in the Indianapolis metro area.

Now, as Al prepares to pass the torch to his son Dustin Weisenburger, Drexel Interiors is entering an exciting new chapter. Through the transition, the two have learned to balance vision with patience and decisiveness with collaboration, while relying on the trusted team that has helped shape the company’s success. That culture of trust and shared

purpose will continue to guide the business under Dustin’s leadership. He credits the company’s strength to the employees’ shared belief in Drexel’s customer-first philosophy and their family-like approach to both teamwork and client relationships.

The company’s new Carmel showroom embodies that forwardlooking vision. Warm, inviting and

design-driven, the space was created to help customers truly envision their projects coming to life. “It’s designed to be inspiring—a place where people feel comfortable exploring ideas,” Dustin notes. The showroom highlights new and innovative products that showcase where the industry is headed and where Drexel Interiors is going, blending timeless quality with fresh ideas.

As design continues to evolve, Drexel Interiors remains rooted in service while embracing technology and innovation. Digital design tools, streamlined communication and a focus on sustainability are now integral to their process—enhancing transparency and simplifying the customer experience while preserving the personal connection that has always defined the company. Despite its national reach, Drexel Interiors’ heart remains local. “Indianapolis has been our home for over 40 years,” Al reflects. “We’re incredibly proud to grow alongside this vibrant community and continue serving the people who have supported us from the beginning.”
