We came to be,

A place you could sprain both your elbow and chin! Do you dare to stay out? Do you dare to go in? How much can you lose? How much can you win? Get up and get started. It’s time to begin!
There’s all kinds of sports for a sports-minded soul. With fair play established by CIAC Board of Control.
You can get so confused with all the things you can choose.
Be you athlete or coach grab your sneakers or shoes.
Will it be Hockey,
Football,
or Cross Country, this fall?
Or Basketball, Gymnastics, or Wrestling y’all?
Or Swimming,
Track,
or even Baseball?
Lacrosse,
Or Tennis,
or Volleyball?
What is your
call?
And always remember to just do your BEST.
Your BEST is your BEST, your BEST is your QUEST!
We play in the sun and we play in the rain.
We play, and we play, and we never complain.
Unified Sports, Kids Marathon, too.
Y’all can be champs. It’s all up to YOU!
So, get up and get going.

Finding your voice,
You’ve got something to say!
So, bring your voice
to the table! Take action. Take stance. You’re making a difference, ‘cuz you took a chance!
And it’s not just our students who have something to say. Advocacy and influence are, huge by the way!
Be it city or state, Hartford or Capitol Hill. There’s so much to say, there’s no time to be still.
Neither rain, snow, or sleet will stop advocation for quality schools, for a
GREAT education.
And, we have to say, CAS has lots to purport. Working collaboratively with others, there’s lots of support.
From State Representatives and Senators, too. They listen. Take action.
