This work is a degree thesis edited by Edoardo Seconi and Paolo Lisotti and discussed in March 2019 at the Architecture Department of Ferrara University School.
It stems from a research work project carried out within the CITER - Urban Design Laboratory of the Department of Architecture (UNIFE) - together with interdisciplinary activities performed in the area for the Delta International Summer School (2018-2021), an international summer school on delta landscape themes, coordinated by the same laboratory and by the GAL Delta 2000 (Gruppo di Azione Locale).
The topics covered concern the study of resilient design solutions in environmentally fragile contexts and, in particular, the thesis focuses on the definition of a project of urban and territorial regeneration of a coastal area of the Po Delta in the province of Ferrara (Italy), characterized by the presence of a complex hydrographic system and affected by important environmental fluxuations related to changes in climate.
