First Quarter 2010
Edmond Chamber hosts the 2010 Hall of Fame Banquet The Edmond Hall of Fame banquet was held on April 9, 2010 at Oak Tree Country Club with over 260 in attendance. The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce puts on the banquet to honor individuals whose civic and professional contributions are exceptional. This year we inducted six individuals with a total of 68 individuals inducted into the Hall of Fame thus far, and more will be inducted again in five years. The 2010 Hall of Fame banquet was presented by Edmond Life and Leisure. Nominations for this prestigious award were provided to the chamber by many individuals. “We have so many individuals in Edmond who have brought distinction to Emcee for the evening- Former this community through the time and effort they have Governor George Nigh spent serving others. Making a decision was a very difficult task for our selection committee, said Beth Kerr, Chairwoman of the committee.
