On behalf of DP Sales and the Land of Lincoln group of breeders I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 12th annual Land of Lincoln sale. Again the sale will be held on Saturday November 5th at the Diamond A sale facility in Altamont, Illinois. As always the Alwardt family does a great job being the host for the sale and all involved ties into a great team of breeders. The breeders have always maintained goals of breeding and marketing Simmental and Sim Angus genetics that not only work for their individual programs, but for the customer as well. The breeders offer cattle that are from predictable lines that offer efficiency, functionality, with eye appeal plus have realistic production traits. Over the years a few things have changed at the Land of Lincoln however the group continues to work as a team and provide genetics that excel in the real world. We welcome two new participants new to the sale however not to the Simmental scene, Dorsey Farms and Brian and Allie Loschen. This year the sale offering includes a great set of opens that are ready to go be exhibited at the National Classic in Lima, Ohio. As in the past many champions have originated from this sale and we will look forward to seeing some of show prospects end up in good homes and be rewarding for the new owner.
