The board of directors of the Iowa Angus Association voted on October 19th, 2002 to develop a new show that will be held in conjunction with the Summer Preview Show held in Atlantic, Iowa, June 13th, and June 14th, 2015. This show will be for juniors who purchase a heifer at the Winter Beef Expo. Any junior will be eligible to show their heifer at the futurity show if they purchase a heifer that is nominated by the consignor at the Expo. The show will payback 100% of the nomination fees!

• Mythbuster might be a better name for this bull. Busting the myth that show animals with eye appeal won't produce cattle with performance. First, this bull had an actual weight of 932 pounds at 209 days. His grandmother was a division winner at NJAS, champion overall at Wisconsin State Fair, his great grandmother was an NJAS class winner as a heifer, and Reserve Grand Cow/Calf Pair at NJAS. His full sister was a class winner at the 2013 NJAS and champion overall at the Arkansas State Fair. The second myth he busts is that Angus bulls don't have enough bone and muscle. He's tremendously thick topped, with a huge hip that carries down well into his lower quarter. He stands on great bone, yet smooth jointed, and big footed. He's puppy dog gentle as well.
