vaccine line.

Confused about USDA’s Electronic ID (EID)1 requirements? You’re not alone.
We’ve fielded many questions about the new EID rules for livestock moving across state lines. As the leading provider of EID tags and readers through our ALLFLEX® brand, Merck Animal Health wants to support cattle producers in their decision-making with the expertise and solutions they need.
As part of that effort, we hope to clarify some of the tagging changes to USDA’s Animal Disease Traceability system.
Key distinctions with official ID rules
The new policy only applies to interstate movement. Other exemptions include direct to slaughter cattle and sexually intact cattle (and bison) under 18 months of age.
Animals that will need electronically and visually readable tags when they enter interstate movement include:
Sexually intact cattle and bison 18 months or older
• All dairy cattle, including beef-on-dairy crossbred animals
• Cattle and bison of any age used for rodeo, recreation events, shows or exhibitions
Another important detail: Visual ear tags applied before Nov. 5, 2024, will be recognized as official IDs for the life of the animal. They’ll be grandfathered in and will not need an EID.
Easing the financial burden
Producers and the livestock industry have raised concerns about the potential cost burden of the new tagging policies. Congress recently directed USDA-APHIS to allocate no less than $15 million for the cost of tags and related infrastructure to help offset those costs.2
Producers may be able to access EID tags for free via their state veterinarian. They can apply those tags at approved tagging sites. Producers can also buy EIDs directly from a distributor, online vendor or local dealer and apply the tags themselves.
In addition, producers are not required to invest in tag-reading hardware or software, unless they choose to do so for herd management and recordkeeping. The EID tags can be used the same way as visual tags.
New EID rules spark questions
By Paul Koffman, Livestock Technology Solutions Lead, North America
Addressing data privacy concerns
EID tags are encoded with a number that identifies the animal, but no owner-specific information. The data associated with the tags will be stored in various federal and state databases.
Access to that data will also be restricted to the state and federal officials responsible for managing high-impact diseases of the cattle industry.
USDA agnostic on EID tags
USDA isn’t mandating or recommending any one brand of ear tag. Tags must be approved by the department and will be imprinted with the Official Eartag Shield.
The ALLFLEX radio frequency ID (RFID) tags offered by Merck Animal Health meet these standards. They use a short-read range that doesn’t interfere with radio frequencies commonly found in livestock operations. ALLFLEX tags do not include any global positioning system (GPS) capabilities. Producers also use these RFID tags to track health protocols, performance, reproduction and genetics.
The new tagging requirements are intended to bolster the industry’s tracing capabilities in the event of a disease outbreak. Contact your Merck Animal Health representative or tag supplier to find out how ALLFLEX tags can help you comply with these rules while managing your beef or dairy operation more efficiently.

Brett Spader Executive Vice President
As members and promoters of the Charolais breed, the data our member’s herds generate is critical to the advancement of our efforts in showcasing the true industry value that Charolais cattle deliver. Data collection isn’t a favorite task for anyone, but I think we can all agree that information collected is significant to driving profitability and in confirming or changing the breeding decisions made on our operations.
Our association and its tools rely on this data. The information we compile and analyze from contributing herds within our membership drives our opportunity for progress as a breed. Every animal matters. Every herd, no matter the size; is important. Every record submitted brings us closer to more accurate genetic tools that benefit the beef industry.
Genomic Credit Program Incentives
In order to encourage data submission in key areas of focus, we're introducing a unique approach to incentivizing these important records. Through our new genomic credit program, breeders can receive up to a $20 discount on 100K DNA tests by submitting data on up to four of the seven traits in our targeted data collection priorities. The program is designed to make data collection accessible and beneficial for operations of all sizes, while fueling the tie between genomic testing and actual performance- further solidifying the genetic selection tools and value from AICA’s genetic evaluation.
seedstock operations stand to benefit as well, as we create this new EPD to establish maternal families that remove risk and added management challenges due to disposition issues.
To date we’ve collected over 21,000 records, and every record we receive puts us one step closer to the development of a docility EPD.
• Feed Efficiency/Feed Intake
Critical for our new Terminal Sire Index (TSI) are the feed intake records from Charolais cattle through feed efficiency testing.
To aid in the collection process, AICA has partnered with Vytelle GrowSafe and C-Lock testing sites to provide convenient opportunities for Charolais producers to collect feed efficiency (FE) and residual feed intake (RFI) data.
• Foot Structure
“ “ ADVANCING CHAROLAIS GENETICS: A Call for Comprehensive Data Submission
Today and in the future, we are focused on building a comprehensive genetic evaluation system that requires collaboration from every Charolais producer.
Our breed improvement strategy focuses on several key traits that will enhance our tools, and we need your help in our continued efforts to strengthen our data footprint for each trait.
Key Data Collection Priorities:
• Docility
The Charolais breed has made great strides in docility over the past 30 years. As we position our genetics in a multibreed bull buying market, now is the time to showcase the docility we know Charolais genetics can deliver to bull buyers. Registered
As a breed we are known for solid foot structure, and we have significant opportunities to illustrate this fact as it pertains to the longevity of Charolais sires in commercial herds. As we begin creating this EPD, it will be important to provide the best data possible in this somewhat subjective measurement. Doing so allows us to steer away from genetics that may become an issue in time for Charolais bull buyers.
AICA follows the Beef Improvement Federation guidelines for foot scoring. Submission of foot scores through the registry system is being developed for launch in late 2024.
• Mature Height and Weight
Mature height and weight are considerable profitability drivers and traits with strong relevance to both seedstock and commercial producers’ breeding goals. You can’t manage what you can’t measure, and we feel these traits will certainly have an impact on future breeding index development strategy.
• Yearling Weights
Yearling weight records are still an essential data record within our breed. These records help us to promote the genetic growth
UPDATES ASSOCIATION
AICA NEW MEMBERS
American-International CHAROLAIS Association
The AICA is the official registry for Charolais and Charbray cattle in the United States. Charolais cattle were first brought to the U.S. in 1936. In 1957, the American Charolais Breeders Association and the International Charolais Breeders Association merged forming the present AICA.
Membership in the AICA is obtainable when the applicant has ownership in at least one animal, and has paid the initial membership fee of $125. AICA annual dues are $100.
PA Policy as of 9/1/24
UPDATES ASSOCIATION
Donor dams and AI sires born after January 1, 2020 are required to be tested for Bovine Progressive Ataxia (BPA), prior to the registration of progeny and/or additional progeny. Animals that have a 100K DNA result on file, will only need to have the BPA test added to their profile. Animals without a 100K on file, will need to have the 100K and BPA ran.
Expedited Registration Work - NEW FEES
If an animal needs to be registered with in a day or two a rush fee of $75 ($150 non members) will be added to work. Once the animal is registered you can pull it up online to view the registration number. The new certificate will be mailed out the following day. We also offer FedEx mailing for additional $75 ($150 non members).
ONLINE TIPS
Transfers cannot be done on-line if the paper has already been issued. The original paper must be returned to AICA. Animals registered on-line can be held in the system for transfer or print later. Many members find it helpful to hold all the newly registered animals in the system. No need to chase papers around.

CHAROLAIS MEMBERS RALLY TO SUPPORT THOSE IMPACTED BY HURRICANE HELENE
If you’ve grown up in agriculture, the ability of the ag community to band together when the going gets tough is no surprise to you. So, when Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on Florida and North Carolina in September of this year, our community did what it always does –looked for ways to help alleviate some of the challenges in those areas.
Riley County Kansas Charolais producer Megan (Fink) Larson shares that when she worked with her local Farm Bureau to organize a relief donation, she wasn’t surprised by the outpouring of help and donations.
“We’ve had wildfires out west (Kansas), and we’ve seen how generous people are, firsthand. People help each other when they need it,” Larson says.
The grassroots relief effort Larson spearheaded was supported by two local FFA chapters, the Riley County Farm Bureau and countless community members. Promotion of the collection and drop-off dates ran for three weeks with two designated drop-off days November 1-2.
The local military base at Fort Riley also took up a collection and donated six pallets of new items. In total, the effort saw a collection of twenty-eight pallets collected with new items ranging from clothing to livestock and fencing supplies. The surrounding community also generously donated more than $6,000 that will be used to help adopt a hurricane-impacted farm family that is in need.
In total, one semi, packed full of supplies, was delivered to North Carolina.
Additional collections were spearheaded by Charolais member Georganne Webb at the Southern Connection Sale with donations being accepted and delivered as well as select embryo sale proceeds donated to hurricane relief efforts.
Richard Meadows, Columbia, Alabama, raised more than $4900 for the Florida Cattlemen’s Hurricane Relief Fund at his Arcadia, Florida Black and White Bull Sale.
Keystone Embryo Transfer, LLC, Daren Statler, DVM, Greencastle, Pennsylvania

and Wright Charolais, Chris Peuster & Derry Wright, Richmond, Missouri also made generous donations to the SaleRing.Live Helene Benefit Auction. Proceeds from the special sale were donated to the Virginia Cattlemen’s Foundation, North Carolina Cattlemen’s Foundation, Farm and Forest Families of Tennessee Fund, South Carolina Cattlemen’s Foundation and Georgia Cattlemen’s Foundation. The SaleRing. Live effort raised an incredible $71,130 for hurricane-impacted farmers and ranchers.
To our membership: we are aware that we may have missed member contributions and apologize for any omissions.
The generosity of time and resources we never fail to see when other producers are in need is a reminder of how incredible the Charolais membership and agriculture industry is. We are blessed to be a part of such an incredible breed and work in an industry that truly supports one another.

Day two of Fink’s organized drop-off brought rain and colder temperatures. FFA members and volunteers braved the elements to collect 28 pallets of donations.
Volunteers work to sort and organize donations during Fink’s Randolph, Kansas hurricane relief collection.

CHAROLAIS
A Quality Program

potential Charolais and Charolais-influenced calves have to offer, while benchmarking our own selection approach as we strive to position ourselves as the terminal heterosis option of choice.
• Carcass Ultrasound

As an association, we can never have too many carcass ultrasound records, especially those that are correlated to genomic aspects. These records provide the carcass composition information we need to advance quality grade while ensuring that we remain a dominant force for yield grade improvement and value.
• Actual Carcass Records

Last but never least, the association is always excited to see actual carcass records come in. These records rapidly increase accuracy of the highly heritable endproduct traits that have made Charolais highly sought after within the beef industry. Why Every Record Matters
No operation is too small to contribute. Every record submitted helps to advance the Charolais breed to:
• Improve breed characteristics

• Develop more accurate EPD traits
• Create better genetic selection tools

• Increase overall breed profitability
Today and in the future, we are focused on building a comprehensive genetic evaluation system that requires collaboration from every Charolais producer. Together, we can advance Charolais genetics and provide commercial producers with the most reliable genetic selection tools in the industry.

AIJCA ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL PHENOTYPE AND GENOTYPE SHOW
As one of the largest and most progressive junior breed associations in the country, the American International Junior Charolais Association (AICA) is excited to introduce a new opportunity for junior members in 2025: The Phenotype and Genotype (P&G) Show.
The P&G Show is a unique competition that aims to marry traditional cattle evaluation and modern genetic technology, offering junior members valuable learning experience in the world of cattle breeding and selection.
The show will be held in conjunction with “The Greatest Show” 2025 AIJCA Junior National Show & Leadership Conference June 16-21, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri.
“The P&G show will reward real-world, structurally correct, industry-relevant cattle developed by our junior membership,” says Executive Vice President Brett Spader. “This new opportunity will help add a component that our junior members can use to establish the females they move forward with in their breeding program – females that can produce bulls with a blend of functionality, longevity and genetic advancement for the industry.”
HowitWorks:
The P&G Show will employ a composite scoring system, equally weighting genotypes and phenotypes at 50% each. The approach will ensure a comprehensive evaluation of the animals, considering both their visual characteristics and genetic potential. Prior to the show, judges will receive cards containing each entry’s information, including birth date and genomically enhanced Expected Progeny Differences (GE-EPDs) with breed percentile rankings. This data will form the basis of the genotype rankings. The same judge will assess the animals’ physical characteristics during the Junior National event, providing the phenotype rankings. The final class placings will be determined by combining the genotype and phenotype scores. In the event of a tie, preference will be
given to the phenotype rankings.
The P&G Show will be organized into classes at the discretion of the show classification committee. Classes will be further divided into four divisions, with an emphasis on maintaining proportionate distribution based on age and class size.
EntryandEligibility:
To participate in the 2025 P&G Show, entries must meet specific criteria: only purebred heifers are eligible; DNA sample results must be on file with AICA by March 1, 2025; GE-EPDs must be published in the April 2025 National Cattle Evaluation; heifers must be born on or after September 1, 2023; and juniors must have full interest and possession of the cattle by May 10, 2025.
The P&G Show will be a non-fit competition.
Premiums for the P&G Show will include Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion cash awards, with 70% of entry fees distributed as class premiums based on the number of entries per class.
“The Phenotype & Genotype Show represents an exciting new direction for our junior members. By combining visual evaluation with genomic data, we’re providing a unique educational opportunity that reflects the evolving nature of cattle breeding. This show encourages our youth to think critically about both the physical attributes and genetic potential of their animals, preparing them for the future of the industry,” says Kaitlyn Chism, AICA Director of Youth Activities and Foundation.
As the cattle industry continues to evolve, events like the P&G Show will play a critical role in the development of the next generation of well-rounded breeders.
To learn more about the 2025 P&G Show and how to enter, contact Kaitlyn Chism at kchism@charolaisusa.com.
CHAROLAIS MEET YOUR 2025

Tatum
Carlson is the 14 year-old daughter of Cameron and Jessica Carlson and happily calls both Wyoming and Nebraska home. Tatum is proud to be a third generation Charolais breeder and follow in her grandpa, uncle, and dad’s footsteps. She has spent a lot of time alongside these three men working cattle and has quickly found herself in their “Right Hand Man” position. Tatum’s love for the Charolais breed pushed her ot attend her first Charolais Junior National in Grand Island, Nebraska in 2022. After that trip, Tatum was hooked and found another level of her passion for the breed. Tatum loves traveling and showing her “Mighty Whites” especially in places where Charolais are not as common. She takes it as an opportunity to show and educate on what Charolais can really do. Tatum is a freshman at Torrington High School, is an active member of the Torrington/Lingle FFA chapter where she sits on the o icer team and is a member of the Showring Rebels 4-H Club. She also is a member of the Nebraska Junior Charolais Association. Tatum is excited to run for Charolais Princess and the opportunity to have a new platform to promote the breed.

Tatum is sponsored by Frank Cattle and Genetics.

GET TO KNOW YOUR DIRECTOR Breeze Bunker, At Large

Breeze Bunker At Large
Hello everyone! My name is Breeze Bunker and I am serving as a current AIJCA Junior Board at large director. I am from Sparta Wisconsin, I am currently a freshman studying Agricultural Business at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. My parents, Jeff and Angela Bunker, have been involved in this association for many years. I have grown up on my family’s purebred Charolais cattle operation; J&A Charolais, where we breed, sell, and show purebred charolais cattle. Through my involvement at a young age, I have developed a large passion for this industry and the people in it.
Outside of the show barn, what else are you up to?
Outside of the show barn, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my friends and family. Some of my favorite activities are shopping, going on vacation and attending music concerts!”
What do you want to accomplish with your time on the AIJCA Board?
With my time on the AIJCA Board, I hope to connect with as many juniors as possible! Some of my favorite memories at the Jr. Nationals as a kid were with the past charolais Junior Board members. I also hope to encourage juniors to become as involved in the breed as possible. In hopes that one day, they would also want to run for the AIJCA Board.
Tell us about your 1st Junior Nationals: My first Junior Nationals was in St Paul Minnesota in 2015. I exhibited my first show heifer “Hometown.” I also competed in many contests such as team sales, showmanship,
photography, speech, and my favorite, team fitting! In that first week of being involved in the AIJCA, I made memories and friendships that I still cherish to this day.
What are your future plans?
Currently, I am a freshman at Iowa State University studying agricultural Business. Although I am unsure of what I want to do after college, I know that I want my future career to give back to the agriculture industry. I also plan to raise my own purebred Charolais cattle..
What is one thing you would say to someone interested in joining the Charolais breed?
I would encourage someone interested in joining the Charolais breed to reach out and become involved. Personally, I met some of my closest friends through competing in contests at the Charolais Junior Nationals. I would also encourage everyone interested in being a part of the AIJCA to be open minded and meet new people!.
If you could have lunch with any 3 people who would they be?
If I could have lunch with any three people it would be Taylor Swift, Matt LaFleur, and Cody Beck
How can we use our platform for good?
We as an association, can use our platform for good by encouraging involvement at Jr. Nationals and other opportunities that our association provides! We can also use our platform to stress the importance of the Charolais breed and the Beef Industry.

AICA UNVEILS PROFIT DRIVER FEED OUT PROGRAM FOR CHAROLAIS BREEDERS
As a breed, Charolais cattle are known for a phenotype that turns heads while driving profit for seedstock and commercial producers alike, thanks to being backed by decades of data that ensures performance repeatability. In 2024, AICA’s Profit Driver program will create the opportunity for real-world, third-party data collection at the feedyard to deliver the insights needed to move a producer’s herd and the breed forward. The program is set to take delivery in December at Hy-Plains Feed Yard, Montezuma, Kansas.
“Profit Driver will allow us to get a full picture of feed efficiency and conversion data and tie that value of performance and realworld application of genetics back to our genetic evaluation and Charolais breeding programs,” says AICA Executive Vice President, Brett Spader.
Accessibility for Breeders of All Sizes
One of the key benefits of this program is its accessibility to producers of all sizes.
“We’ll coordinate with folks to enroll entries,” Spader says, adding that the program is designed to accommodate breeders and their bull customers of all sizes. “We’re also opening Profit Driver up to our Charolais bull buyers –they are welcome to join the program to learn more about the performance of their Charolais and Charolaisinfluenced cattle.”
“We are more successful as an association and membership in advancing the Charolais breed when we back our data with the educational resources for realworld application,” says Spader.
Both AICA Members and Charolais bull buyers can enroll cattle in Profit Driver to collect harvest data, and if animals are in properly formed contemporary groups, build the EPD accuracy of sires and dams of the enrolled feedlot cattle. Enrolled cattle will be evaluated to provide the key metrics of carcass data, feed efficiency measurements, heart scores and realworld performance validation. By tying these results back to genetic evaluations and breeding programs, the Profit Driver program will provide breeders with an unparalleled understanding of industry-relevant data as predicted by AICA’s full slate of EPDs and indexes.
Profit Driver will build co-mingled pens of approximately 70-head. Participants in Profit Driver will be responsible for covering the costs associated with days on feed. AICA will cover the expenses for genomic testing on enrolled cattle and the cost of the Vytelle GrowSafe system for the first two hundred head enrolled.
A special junior division will also be part of the program, aimed at engaging the next generation of cattle producers. This category provides young participants with hands-on experience in cattle evaluation and performance analysis, to foster their understanding of the industry and commitment to improving Charolais genetics for the pasture, the feedlot and the dinner table.
All enrolled cattle must be weaned for at least 60 days and have received two rounds of 7-way vaccinations before delivery.
Educational Opportunities and Incentives
Education is a cornerstone of AICA. At the conclusion of the Profit
Finder challenge, AICA will host a cattle feeding educational event to provide insights into the cattle feeding industry, share results and showcase the value-added characteristics Charolais and Charolais-influenced cattle deliver to the beef value chain.
“We are more successful as an association and membership in advancing the Charolais breed when we back our data with the educational resources for real-world application,” says Spader. “Data is incredibly valuable, but when we all understand the true value of application of what we’re collecting, that’s where we find individual herd advancement and overall breed improvement.”
The event will also serve as an awards ceremony where the topperforming cattle will be awarded cash prizes in the categories of yield-grade, feed conversation, quality grade and overall profitability.
To learn more about the Profit Driver feed out program, contact Hadley Schotte at hschotte@charolaisusa.com or by calling 785-562-6632.

CHAROLAIS SPOTLIGHT

Our names are Dallee (16) Georgia (9), and Josie (8) Hecht and we are from Grove City, MN. Our family has been actively involved in the purebred Charolais business for three generations and we operate 2H Cattle Company with our parents, Dale and Jill Hecht. Our focus is developing purebred Charolais genetics using ET/IVF and artificial insemination. We are active members of the MN/WI Junior Charolais Association where Dallee serves as President.
How long have you been in the Charolais breed and how did you get involved?
Hecht girls – Growing up with purebred Charolais, we were actively involved in Charolais from birth. Dallee’s first Junior National was in 2015 where she missed being able to show by a few months and she was frustrated not being able to show in her home state. She has attended each Junior National except one since. Georgia and Josie have attended each as well, first serving as cheerleaders and actively participating in the public speaking contest and other activities, until Georgia was old enough to show in 2024. Josie will join the ranks in 2025. All three girls have been actively showing at junior shows since they were 5 years old.
What gets you out of bed in the morning? What’s your why?
Hecht girls – The love of working with our heifers and seeing them develop. Georgia is what we refer to as the “cow whisperer” with her ability to turn anything into a pet. Dallee has grown in her desire to produce a high-quality breeding animal with genetic potential. Josie enjoys pulling around a “big heifer.”
What is one thing you’d tell somebody to get them involved in our breed?
Hecht girls – IWhen you are involved in Charolais, you are willing to take a different path than the more mainstream breeds such as Angus or Hereford. I would encourage them to become a breeder of Charolais, rather than just showing them one year, then another breed the next. The

association is filled with great people and the atmosphere is that of a family.
You’ve been allowed to create the highest quality show heifer ever made, what does she look like?
Hecht girls – Our opinion of the “perfect show heifer” would incorporate all the phenotypic traits you would expect (structurally sound, soggy rib, feminine female) that would also be a “cow” first with her ability to raise outstanding breeding stock.
What is your favorite memory in the show ring?
Hecht girls – For Dallee it would be showing cattle that she raised herself. One example comes to mind when attending the Kim Schoen Classic with my dad which exploded in size and quality. I brought a composite Charolais heifer that I had been exhibiting as a Market Heifer that was bred and owned, and she was chosen as 5th overall Market Animal!.
What are you most looking forward to at the Greatest Show in Springfield, MO?
Hecht girls – For Josie, it would be her first opportunity to see the inside of the show ring for herself, for Georgia, she looks forward to the team fitting contest, and for Dallee, she is looking forward to getting to share the ring with her sisters at the location where she showed at her first Junior National.

Lois was united in marriage to Gerald “Gerry” Polzin at their home in rural Cokato on August 13, 1977. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Chris, and Travis. They shared 47 years of marriage.
Lois and Gerry worked hand in hand on the farm for the last 48 years together working cattle and farming. They enjoyed attending cattle shows and tours together where they could catch up with old friends.
Lois was a devoted 4-H leader for the Knapp Busy Bee’s while the boys were in 4-H. She loved her family and grandchildren and could always be found telling stories about them to anyone
who would listen. Although Lois was not always able to attend her grandchildren’s events, she did her best. If unable to make it, she would be patiently waiting by the phone to hear an update on how the event had gone. Lois made her grandkids feel like they were the ultimate of importance to her. When we were on the road, we all knew that when we reached our destination a phone call was needed to let her know you had made it back home for the night or where you were staying for the night. The atlas was always on the table ready to follow the adventure you were on. We will continue to find ourselves trying to make that phone call to hear her voice, but we know she will be watching over all of us and know where we are.
Lois was an amazing cook and baker, and she always had a crock pot or cake pan in hand for any special gathering or occasion. Her kindness always radiated onto anyone around her. She could easily brighten anyone’s day. Lois had a beautiful soul that would forever be with anyone that had the chance to know her.
Lois was an amazingly caring and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, and friend. Her calendar held many dates for birthdays and
anniversaries, and she was always known to have a card in the mailbox to arrive on that given occasion. Always hoping that the post office followed her anticipated timeline. Lois had a knack for having just the right card for you and it made you wonder how many countless hours she spent in front of the card racks to find that particular card.
Lois is survived by her: Husband Gerald “Gerry” Polzin of Cokato, MN; Sons, Chris Polzin and his wife, Leslie of Darwin, MN, Travis Polzin and his special friend, Katie Lewerenz of Darwin, MN; Grandchildren, Hayley Polzin, Madylen Johnson, Brooke Polzin, Paige Polzin, Desirae Polzin, Morgan Polzin, Colton Polzin, Lucas Polzin; Brothers- and Sisters-in-law, Robert and Peggy Polzin of Prior Lake, MN, David and Linda Schmitz of Victoria, MN, Gerald and Judy Hoen of Norwood Young America, MN, Debbie Kohls of Savage, MN, Alan and Lorrie Schmidt of Hutchinson, MN, Ronald and Kristina Polzin of Plymouth, MN, Tamara Polzin of Waconia, MN; Bonus Daughter, Dawn and Scott Wald. Lois is preceded in death by her Parents, Lawrence, and Esther Lundeen; Sister, Marlys Wournos; Father- and Mother-in-law, Arthur, and Vivian Polzin.
