BULL WINTERING PROGRAM

We will be offering wintering arrangements on bull calves purchased in this sale.

For $300 per head we will winter the bull calves until May 1, 2013. These bull calves will be ultrasound scanned for carcass and are guaranteed breeders, but because of their age they have not been semen tested yet. Bull calves left with us for the winter will pass a complete breeding soundness evaluation including a semen test prior to pick up. We suggest if you leave the bull calves with us to winter you take out a mortality insurance policy which will be available sale day.

The Baldies were selected from Edgar Bros. herd at Rockham, SD and we have been getting their top heifers for the past 17 years from this reputation herd. Some of the commercial Angus bred heifers have pedigrees that involve genetic carriers for AM & NH so they are bred to clean bulls that will not transmit those defects.
