Each consignment in this joint production sale represents some of the top genetics available from these programs. Offerings will be made with almost every segment of the Simmental industry in mind. Select, high performance Angus and SimAngusTM genetics are also included in the sale again this year. A special welcome goes to our good friends at 7P Ranch and Woodlawn Farms, first time consignors this year. Their tradition of high quality cattle and the people that stand behind them are an asset to this event. OWNER: 3J Farms, Fairmount, GA We are very pleased to offer ½ interest in RRJS Steel Force 061U at the 16th annual Southern Showcase sale. 061U has been a fantastic producer for our program. Purchased from Ratcliff Ranch, 061U has proven himself to be equally as good as or better than any AI sire we use from year to year. Notable offering include the Cindy Who heifer who was the Reserve Champion commercial female at the GA state 4H and FFA show in Perry in February as well as the GA Club Calf Producers points champion in the commercial division. 061U also is the sire of Gibson Priest’s heifer that was recently named champion female at the GA Junior Beef Futurity in Perry, GA this past July. We have numerous bulls on test both in the Pigeon Mountain Simmental “Beef Builder” Bull Test and at the UGA Calhoun Bull Test. Multiple heifers have been retained to go back in the herd.
