PER LA CALZATURA SAFETY UN RECUPERO VELOCE Siro Badon, presidente di Assocalzaturifici, non ha dubbi: la calzatura di sicurezza raggiungerà al più presto i valori pre-pandemici e illustra i maggiori indicatori del comparto nei primi sei mesi del 2021, semestre che ha segnato la ripresa del calzaturiero italiano.

residente, gli indicatori generali del settore calzaturiero per il primo semestre 2021 sono tornati a crescere. In questo quadro com'è stato l'andamento del comparto calzatura professionale/di sicurezza?

“I dati relativi al primo semestre dell’anno mostrano per l’export dinamiche positive per tutte le tipologie di calzature. Nello specifico per quanto riguarda le scarpe di sicurezza, ovvero con puntale protettivo di metallo,

Spagna, Paesi Bassi, Repubblica Ceca, Regno Unito, Belgio, Svizzera, Romania e Polonia. I primi tre coprono all’incirca oltre la metà del totale export dei primi 6 mesi, che è pari a quasi 7,5 milioni di paia per un valore di 201 milioni di euro e un prezzo medio di 27,19 euro a paia”.

Quali sono secondo lei le prospettive di sviluppo del comparto nel prossimo futuro?

“Per effetto delle minori perdite subìte lo scorso anno – ricordo che la produzione di questo seg-

mento non si è mai arrestata neanche nel periodo del lockdown più restrittivo – le calzature di sicurezza risultano ora più vicine ai livelli del primo semestre 2019 pre-covid (-6% nelle paia, con addirittura un +0,6% in valore) di quanto non lo sia il totale calzature (che presenta ancora un divario del -8,5% in volume e del -3,6% in valore su due anni addietro). Si stima dunque che i valori pre-pandemici di questo specifico comparto verranno al più presto raggiunti”.

FOR SAFETY FOOTWEAR, A FAST RECOVERY Siro Badon, President of Assocalzaturifici, has no doubts about it: safety footwear will very soon arrive at pre-pandemic values, with the most dynamic indicators present in the sector recorded during the first six months of 2021, a period that marked the recovery of Italian footwear manufacturing.

c’è stato un recupero sempre a doppia cifra ma meno sostenuto (in termini percentuali) rispetto alla media export: +12,9% in paia e +18,7% in valore su gennaio-giugno 2020 (il totale calzature segna infatti rimbalzi di oltre il 20%: +24,8% in volume e +29,4% in valore). Va ricordato che questo segmento nel 2020 aveva sofferto in modo minore rispetto al totale calzature, subendo cali nelle vendite estere del -10,5% in quantità e del -7,4% in valore sul 2019 (rispetto al -18,0% in quantità e al -14,9% in valore registrato complessivamente dal totale tipologie)”.

Quali sono i mercati principali di destinazione della calzatura safety italiana nel mondo?

“I principali paesi cui è destinato l’export delle nostre calzature safety sono: Germania, Francia,

“The data regarding the first six months of the year is characterised by a dynamic and positive export trend for all kinds of footwear. Going more into detail, as far as safety shoes are concerned, or rather those with a metal protective toecap, there was a recovery always in double-digits, but less sustained (in terms of percentages) compared to the average export figure: +12.9% per pair and +18.7% in value compared to January-June 2020 (footwear on the whole in fact recorded a rebound of over 20%: +24.8% in volume and +29.4% in value). It’s important to remember that in 2020 this segment experienced less of a negative impact when compared to footwear in general, with downtrends in foreign sales equal to -10.5% in quantity and -7.4% in value over 2019 (compared to the -18% in quantity and -14.9% in value recorded by footwear in general)”.

Which are the main markets Italian safety footwear is destined for worldwide?

“The main countries where our safety shoe exports are destined are: Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Belgium, Switzerland, Romania and Poland. The first three account for over half of total exports for the first 6 months of the year, which is equal to almost 7.5 million pairs for a value of 201 million euros and an average price of 27.19 euros per pair”.

In your opinion, what are the prospects for development by the segment in the near future?

“Because of fewer losses experienced last year – in fact production in this segment never came to a standstill, not even during the most restrictive moments of lockdown – safety footwear is now closer to the first half of 2019’s pre-covid levels (-6% per pair, with even a +0.6% rise in value) when compared to footwear in general (which still has a gap of -8.5% in volume and -3.6% in value from the levels of two years ago). It is accordingly forecasted that this specific segment will very soon arrive at pre-pandemic values”.

A+A 2021: RITORNO AL LAVORO… IN TUTTA SICUREZZA! Tra digitalizzazione e sostenibilità, tra presentazioni live, conferenze e proposte di nuovi prodotti e tecnologie, torna a Düsseldorf l’atteso appuntamento con la più importante fiera al mondo per la sicurezza, la protezione e la salute sul lavoro.

Torna nel comprensorio fieristico di Düsseldorf, in Germania, la principale fiera internazionale per la sicurezza, la protezione e la salute sul lavoro, che vede la presenza di oltre 1.000 espositori (nei padiglioni da 1 a 10), chiamati a rispondere alle nuove sfide lanciate dall’avvento della pandemia, dall’accelerazione digitale e dalla centralità del tema della sostenibilità per l’industria e la società.

A+A stessa punta sul digitale per migliorare il percorso espositivo dei visitatori attraverso il potenziamento dei servizi online. Per garantire una preparazione ottimale alla visita in fiera è stato, infatti, messo a disposizione dei partecipanti il database digitale degli espositori dove sono consultabili tutti i dati rilevanti su espositori, servizi, prodotti e persone di riferimento. Un altro importante strumento digitale sono le sessioni web degli espositori relative al prodotto, che permette a tutti coloro che quest'anno non potranno partecipare alla fiera di entrare comunque in contatto virtuale con gli espositori. Le sessioni web saranno disponibili anche on demand al termine della fiera fisica.

Il tema dell’efficienza digitale e della sostenibilità sono al centro anche delle soluzioni e dei prodotti che gli espositori presenteranno su una superficie espositiva di circa 50.000 m², così come delle numerose conferenze e presentazioni nelle aree Special Show e dei Trend Forum. Accanto a questi megatrend di A+A 2021, il programma di eventi collaterali si concentrerà su Future Solutions, New Work e sul tema Igiene e Pandemia.

A+A LIVE Accanto ai prodotti e alle soluzioni presentati dagli espositori, il Trend Forum di quest'anno nel padiglione 4 affronte-

rà i ‘temi caldi’ del settore con conferenze e dimostrazioni pratiche.

I temi delle sessioni saranno nel dettaglio: • Digitalizzazione + Sicurezza: documentazione digitale dell'uso dei DPI come l'acquisto, la manutenzione, la cura e la pulizia, nonché la registrazione degli incidenti possibili.

• Digitalizzazione + Salute: presentazione di app per la salute, telelavoro e nuovi mondi del lavoro, nonché stress mentale e riduzione del carico di lavoro tramite esoscheletri.

• Sostenibilità: introduzione alla Due Diligence Act a livello tedesco ed europeo. (I limiti all')economia circolare.

• Protezione e igiene: buone pratiche, esperienze e apprendimenti per la selezione di DPI (maschere, protezione delle mani, disinfezione, ecc. incl. combinabilità), conformità CE e consapevolezza della qualità.

• Manipolazione di sostanze pericolose: colloqui sulla manipolazione, valutazione del rischio di sostanze pericolose. Ultimi approfondimenti associati a REACH e lezioni sperimentali sullo stoccaggio di materiali pericolosi.

ROBOTICS PARK & SELFEXPERIENCE SPACE Il Robotics Park presenta produttori di esoscheletri insieme al Fraunhofer IPA, (Istituto per l'ingegneria e l'automazione della produzione) mostrando come queste tecnologie possano supportare i lavoratori in lavori fisicamente impegnativi o quando lavorano in posizioni non ergonomiche. Nell'adiacente Selfexperience Space gli espositori possono anche presentare le loro novità in azione. Inoltre il Fraunhofer IPA e l'Università di Stoccarda IFF organizzeranno

l'EXOWORKATHLON nell'ambito del Robotics Park. Anche qui sarà allestito un corso che i giovani tester (apprendisti e studenti tecnici) seguiranno con e senza esoscheletri.

START-UP ZONE Nella speciale START-UP ZONE aziende giovani, creative e orientate al futuro presenteranno le loro idee creative e innovazioni nei vari segmenti della sicurezza sul lavoro e della medicina – dalle App per la salute, agli occhiali VR, ai tessuti high-tech.

37° CONGRESSO PER LA SALUTE E LA MEDICINA SUL LAVORO Organizzato da Basi, l'Associazione federale tedesca per la sicurezza e la salute sul lavoro, il congresso riunisce ogni due anni a Düsseldorf gli attori e i decision makers in materia di SSL dell'industria, dell'artigianato, dell'amministrazione, della politica e della scienza. Al centro di quest'anno saranno temi di attualità come Lavoro 4.0, possibilità di digitalizzazione e AI per la salute sul lavoro,

lavoro in tempi di pandemia e capacità di rendere Vision Zero una realtà.

A+A 2021: BACK TO WORK… IN COMPLETE SAFETY!

Between digitalisation and sustainability, live presentations, conferences, and proposals of new products and technologies, returning to Düsseldorf is the eagerly awaited rendezvous with the most important fair in the world for occupational safety, security, and health.

Returning to the trade fair complex of Düsseldorf, in Germany, is the leading international fair for occupational safety, security, and health, which sees the presence of over 1,000 exhibitors (in halls 1 to 10), called upon to reply to new challenges launched by the outbreak of the pandemic, by digital acceleration, and by the central importance of sustainability for the industry and society.

A+A, in fact, uses digital technology to improve the exhibition itinerary of visitors through the reinforcement of online services. To ensure optimal preparation for visiting the trade fair the digital exhibitor database is placed at attendees’ disposal, where it is possible to consult all relevant data on exhibitors, services, products and contact persons. Another digital add-on are the product-related exhibitors’ web sessions, which allows all those unable to attend the trade fair this year to enter into virtual contact with exhibitors. The web sessions will also be available on demand after the trade fair.

The theme of digital efficiency and sustainability are also at the centre of solutions and products that exhibitors will present in an exhibition area of 50,000 m², while numerous conferences and presentations will be held in the Special Show and Trend Forum areas. Next to these megatrends at A+A 2021, the programme of side events will focus on Future Solutions, New Work and the topic Hygiene and the Pandemic.

A+A LIVE Next to the exhibitors’ products and solutions, this year’s Trend Forum in Hall 4 will map all facets of trending themes with its practice-driven talks.

The themed sessions are: • Digitalisation + Safety: digital documentation of PPE use, such as purchase, maintenance, care and cleaning as well as the recording of near accidents.

• Digitalisation + Health: presentation of health Apps, teleworking and new working worlds as well as mental stress and workload reduction through exoskeletons.

• Sustainability: introduction to the Due Diligence Act on the German and European level. (The limits to) circular economy.

• Protection and hygiene: best practice, experiences and learnings for the selection of PPE (masks, hand protection, disinfection, etc. incl. combinability), CE conformity and quality awareness.

• Handling of Hazardous Substances: talks on handling, evaluation and the risk assessment of hazardous substances. Latest insights associated with REACH as well as experimental lectures on hazardous materials storage.

Selected lectures will be streamed live on the A+A 2021 website.

ROBOTICS PARK & SELFEXPERIENCE SPACE The Robotics Park features manufacturers of exoskeletons together with the Fraunhofer IPA, (Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation), showing how these technologies can support workers in physically demanding jobs or when working in unergonomic postures. In the adjacent Selfexperience Space exhibitors can also present their innovations in action. In addition to this, the Fraunhofer IPA and University Stuttgart IFF will organise the EXOWORKATHLON as part of the Robotics Park. Here, too, a course will be set up that young test persons (apprentices and technical students) go through with and without exoskeletons.

START-UP ZONE In the special START-UP ZONE, young, creative, future-oriented companies will introduce their innovations and creative ideas from all segments of occupational safety and medicine – from the health App, to VR goggles or high-tech textiles.

37TH CONGRESS FOR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND MEDICINE Organised by Basi, the German Federal Association for Occupation Safety and Health, every two years, the congress brings together the OSH actors and decisionmakers from industry, skilled crafts, administration, politics and science in Düsseldorf. Centre stage this year will be current topics such as Work 4.0, possibilities of digitalisation and AI for occupational health, working in pandemic times as well as making Vision Zero a reality. There will be debates about mobile working, occupational safety in international supply chains, sustainable OSH, as well as on the future of work in Europe and worldwide. In addition to this, selected Congress content can be streamed free of charge on the A+A website. In Hall 10 on the fairgrounds trade visitors will find a competence centre for occupational safety and health at the Meeting Point Safety + Health.

LE NUOVE LINEE SAFETY EMPOWERED BY MICHELIN SOLES Il marchio francese mette a segno una serie di collaborazioni con brand della calzatura antinfortunistica sviluppando con il partner JV International suole ad alta prestazione destinate a fare la differenza in campo di versatilità produttiva, confort e sicurezza

V International, partner per strategico scelto da Michelin per la progettazione, lo sviluppo e la produzione di suole, ha realizzato in esclusiva per il marchio francese una serie di suole ad alte performance che corredano le nuove linee di alcuni dei brand della calzatura antinfortunistica più rinomati. Sono quattro i progetti presentati per questa stagione.

La nuova linea Arrow-Soles by Michelin di Garsport per il 2022 è sviluppata con un'esclusiva suola a tre densità iniettata direttamente sulla tomaia e realizzata con la tecnologia PLUS2 (brevetto Stemma Srl). Con tomaia in suede e nylon, il mo-

dello di punta, la scarpa Kele Low S1p è apprezzabile sia per il design accattivante che per le performance tecniche e si può utilizzare in diversi ambiti lavorativi, dalle officine, ai magazzini e nell'edilizia, ma non solo. La suola Michelin garantisce la versatilità produttiva, che permette di ampliare la gamma di prodotti realizzabili mediante iniezione diretta con sempre nuove soluzioni tecniche di prodotto; l'elevata efficienza, che consente di produrre suole a 3 densità mantenendo lo stesso ritmo produttivo di un tradizionale processo bi-densità; l'assoluta flessibilità che permette di combinare le tradizionali produzioni in bi-densità con quella dei

nuovi modelli a 3-densità, senza dover modificare la configurazione dell'impianto.

Per Jelen 7297-26310, calzatura leggera ma allo stesso tempo robusta realizzata in pelle idrofobia e dotata di fodera impermeabile e traspirante con soletta non metallica e cappuccio protettivo composito dedicata al settore edile, Michelin firma una suola con elevata resistenza all'usura e una costante aderenza sul terreno, resistente agli olii, antiscivolo e antistatica. Lo stivaletto presenta inoltre un rinforzo in gomma nella zona posteriore, una comoda soletta anatomica e antibatterica e un cappuccio composito libro rinforzato estremamente leggero.

ROSENBAUER - Boros B4, stivale co-progettato insieme a Michelin e ispirato agli pneumatici Michelin x Works XDY, innalza gli standard di sicurezza grazie alla suola innovativa e performante che non tiene solo conto del grip sui diversi tipi di terreno, ma soprattutto delle temperature estreme. La mescola ha massima resistenza all’olio, alla benzina e ad una alta gamma di acidi. La gomma è antistatica così da prevenire la formazione di scintille e offrire la massima protezione durante l’uso in aree di pericolo esplosione. Qualora la suola dovesse subire danni causati da usura meccanica o sovraccarico termico, può essere sostituita allungando il ciclo di vita dello stivale per una maggiore sostenibilità ed economia.

BOROS B4 presenta una chiusura innovativa esclusiva di Rosenbauer in grado di combinare i vantaggi di tutte le tipologie di chiusura oggi conosciuti: funzionamento semplice, regolazione personalizzabile e memorizzabile; per aumentare così la velocità di infilare e togliere lo stivale molto rapidamente.

Infine, per TALAN 7434 JV international ha sviluppato a marchio Michelin una suola dotata di una combinazione di mescole, appositamente creata per adattarsi a tutte le condizioni atmosferiche e qualsiasi ambiente. Provvista di una punta robusta per garantire una maggiore durata all’usura e trazione, ha grandi scanalature che offrono più adattabilità e flessibilità. Infine, la zona del tallone è irrobustita per garantire la massima durabilità. Nel tallone della suola è presente inoltre un "cuscino" ammortizzante realizzato con speciali fibre AirBag. La tomaia è prodotta con un tessuto speciale in fili di poliestere e con un tessuto Cordura, resistente ed altamente traspirabile. The French brand achieves a series of collaborations with safety footwear brands, developing high-performance soles with the partner JV International designed to make a difference in the field of production versatility, comfort and safety JV International, strategic partner chosen by Michelin for the design, development and production of soles, has exclusively a series of high performance soles that accompany the new lines of some of the most renowned safety footwear brands intended for the French brand. There are four projects presented for this season.

The new Arrow-Soles line by Michelin from Garsport for 2022 is developed with an exclusive three-density sole directly injected onto the upper and made with PLUS2 technology (Stemma Srl patent). With upper in suede and nylon, the flagship model Kele Low S1p shoe is appreciable both for its captivating design and technical performance and can be used in different work environments, from workshops to warehouses, in construction, and more. The Michelin sole ensures production versatility, which allows to expand the product range that can be made by direct injection with always new technical product solutions; the high efficiency, which makes it possible to produce 3-density soles while maintaining the same production rate of a traditional dual-density process; the absolute flexibility that allows you to combine traditional bi-density productions with that of the new 3-density models, without having to change the plant configuration.

ROSENBAUER - Boros B4, boot co-designed with Michelin and inspired by Michelin x Works XDY tires, raises safety standards thanks to the innovative and performing sole that doest not just consider the grip on different types of terrain, but above all extreme temperatures. The compound has maximum resistance to oil, petrol and a high range of acids. The rubber is antistatic so as to prevent the formation of sparks and maximum protection during use in explosion risk areas. Should the sole be damaged due to mechanical wear or thermal overload, it can be replaced by extending the life cycle of the boot for greater sustainability and economy.

BOROS B4 presents an innovative closure exclusively by Rosenbauer able to combine the advantages of all the types of closure known today: simple operation, customisable and memorable adjustment; to increase the speed of putting on and taking off the boot very quickly.

Finally for TALAN 7434 JV international has developed a Michelin branded sole equipped with a combination of compounds, specially developed to be adapted to all weather conditions and any environment. Equipped with a sturdy toe-cap to ensure greater wear and traction durability, it has large grooves that offer more adaptability and flexibility. Finally, the heel area is strengthened to ensure maximum durability. The heel of the sole features a shock-absorbing "cushion" made from special AirBag fibres.

The upper is produced with a special fabric in polyester threads and with a Cordura fabric, resistant and highly breathable. A three-layer waterproof membrane ensures abrasion resistance and protects the foot from moisture penetration while offering great water repellency. The closure is equipped with the WINCH Fit System, a patented system consisting of a steel cord, nylon guides and a mechanical reel. This locking system is resistant to dirt, water and ice. One-handed operation is fast, comfortable and makes the shoe fit easy.

Sire-Tex is made up by a group of technicians and collaborators who have full control of all production processes: from the choice in raw materials to the laminating processes, from tests on materials to communications, all the way up to sales. At the centre of this work is a Research & Development department, which today more than ever before strives daily to propose innovative and high-performance fabrics capable of satisfying the quickly changing needs of the market.

For the Safety sector, and in order to reply to the numerous demands for safety by those working in certain environments, Sire-Tex has developed two specific conductive materials for the production of insoles used in ESD footwear that do not require stitching. Both products go above and beyond the requirements of the new CEI EN 61340-5-1:2016 safety standard for the protection of electronic devices from electrostatic phenomenon (ESDS).

for those who produce injected polyurethane insoles, with the possibility of personalising in accordance with the needs of the customer who will then manufacture the final product. The other, Thermoform, is characterised by a high-density rubber structure and has been created for the production of thermoformable insoles, with various possibilities of lamination with linings, including those that are personalised in accordance with the customer’s needs. Both these materials can be combined with a wide variety of conductive linings: Sun Silver with its silver yarn, Iron Star and Steel with their steel yarns, and Terry with its conductive treatment.

Another area in which the company has invested significantly is research onto materials and fabrics that are eco-sustainable and recycled.

Among these, the Research and Development team has conceived two different waterproof and breathable membranes: Circle Membrane, created using polyester recovered from industrial textile waste, and Gea Bio Membrane, made from polyamide and organic material. These membranes can be laminated with various eco-friendly fabrics and wools.

Aware of the growing and pressing environmental problems, Alba&n has launched the new footwear line with uppers, linings and accessories from the recycling of post-consumer PET bottles.

Born in 2006 in the footwear district of Barletta Trani, in the Puglia region, from the will and foresight of the well-known entrepreneur Teuta Pistolja and the founder of the Alba Shoes group of companies, Nikolin Lleshi, Alba&n is today also an established safety and work footwear brand on an international scale, synonymous with reliability and quality. Always projected towards the future and innovation, the company has collected the market trends towards a more careful and sustainable consumption and has decided to give life to the new Re-choose® line, synonymous with a philosophy of responsible change.

Re-choose® is, in fact, the new collection of ultralight and comfortable safety footwear, made from parts of 100% PET materials and processed by GRS certified Italian companies. An example of the collection’s values is also the choice of the “RE-CHOOSE” logo which comes to life from the union of two words: REcycle and Choose.

HISTORY The origins of Alba Shoes Group date back to 1993 with of a factory specialised in the production of fashion shoe uppers the inauguration in the Albanian town of LAC. Soon this upper factory was joined by others located in the cities of Tirana, Vlora and Cerovoda, thanks to an increasingly high demand from international brands, famous in the

footwear sector, for the processing of their products. The expansion of the production area went hand in hand with an expansion of skills and with the growth of an increasingly specialised knowhow, which also began to expand towards another very interesting application sector, which is safety footwear. The 2000s saw an intensification of activities and an increasing use of financial and technological resources, until the complete production cycle of footwear was completed within these factories. The Italian company Alba&n, established in those years, began to be the bridgehead between Albanian production and the European and world market, of which it soon became a point of reference. The entire production continues to be divided between Private Label and own brand items, made on a total area owned by the company of 60,000 square metres and with a workforce of about 2000 people, whose production capacity is about 8000 pairs of shoes per day.

The Lightech line is characterised by the very low weight of the shoe - about 420 g - guaranteed by the use of a new generation sole made with XL EXTRALIGHT®, a super lightweight, flexible and resistant foam material, whose weight is 3 times less than the weight of materials with the same mechanical properties. Low density, excellent physical-mechanical properties and the soft touch are other very interesting features of this sole. Also its design is of particular relevance, which represents the perfect combination of the current stylistic requirements in fashion and some technical features specifically created to ensure maximum safety and very high comfort. The notches, placed in the heel exit area, allow maximum grip and resistance to slipping in the presence of liquids, in the foot support phase, a phase that notoriously is riskier.

The high thicknesses of the sole also exacerbate the cushioning effect, increasing comfort and eliminating the sense of discomfort or fatigue, until the end of the work shift.

The insole is also made paying particular attention to maximum comfort, using extremely soft and comfortable polyurethane foam.

The conductive puncture resistant fabric, almost entirely recycled, is made with special fibres of non-woven fabric. It is much more softer, more flexible and 55% lighter than any other puncture resistant device in fabric, thanks to its construction and the nature of the materials that compose it. Moreover, its honeycomb structure offers never-before achieved levels of thermal insulation.

The fibreglass toecap, instead, has excellent mechanical resistance properties to static and impulsive loads. It is non-magnetic, thermally insulating, but decidedly lighter - only 60 g - compared to the 90 g of steel toecaps.

The Lightech line is full of products made with cutting-edge fabrics, the result of a careful search for the most technical and performing raw materials. Some models are also particularly environment-friendly and made of RE PET, a recycled fabric mixed with a water repellent high strength polyamide, with excellent tear and abrasion resistance.

Un altro esempio virtuoso Diadora Utility, che è il 22 aprile scorso, in occasione dell’Earth Day, ha presentato in anteprima la sua Glove Eco, la scarpa da lavoro sostenibile i cui componenti, - dal battistrada ai lacci, dalla tomaia alle cuciture, passando per i coloranti utilizzati - sono stati studiati per ridurne l’impatto sull’ambiente, senza tuttavia compromettere performance e durabilità. Tutti i tessuti provengono da poliestere riciclato R-PET, mentre la pelle della tomaia è priva di PFAS, sostanze inquinanti con conseguenze a lungo termine ambiente e salute. Anche suola e intersuola sono realizzate in parte con materiali riciclati, e il puntale in alluminio, così come l’inserto anti-perforazione, sono stati prodotti utilizzando materiali di riciclo o provenienti da scarti di produzione.

For the launching of Glove Eco, the company also began a campaign in support of WeForest for the protection of Brazil’s Atlantic Forest and its local communities: for every pair of Glove Eco purchased, Utility and WeForest will save a tree, with the aim of arriving at 6000 trees by 2021.

Always in terms of Italian excellence, we find Exena, a Marches-based company founded in 1998 that is specialised in the safety industry. It has in fact made its contribution to protecting the environment with its Air Green Line including the CARBON S1P SRC and OCEAN S1P SRC models featuring upper, lining, insole, laces, and labels all exclusively made using PET products, and yarns coming from post-consumer, recycled, and 100% recyclable plastic bottles.

Likewise, the Treviso company of Grisport, specialised since ’77 in first the production of trekking shoes, and then in leisure time shoes, and finally also in work shoes, has focused on sustainability with the Active Pro model, which aims to offer the wearer ‘sustainable comfort’. The Active Pro line was in fact developed to make work more comfortable and extremely safe at the same time,

thanks to the patented Grisport Active® system.

The composition of the sole presents an ergonomic insole with cushioning areas for extra comfort, anti-smell activated carbon insoles, inserts in ultralight 100% recycled material, and shock-absorbing air cushions. The shoes are completed by an anti-perforation composite plateair cushion, a PU midsole with micro air-bubbles and an antistatic, anti-slip and heat resistant outsole.

The leading company Over Teak has fully committed itself to combining technical developments with sustainability, making use of a state-of-theart photovoltaic system on the roof of its Barletta factory consisting of 1,460 panels that produce 50% of the company’s electricity needs. The positive effects of this action have been a reduction of several thousand tons of CO2 emissions, a reduction in the consumption of fossil fuels, and the safeguarding of several thousand tons of PET. For some time now, even a large-scale leading company like the Barletta-based Cofra has been doing business and producing shoes in a ‘green’ scope”. Since 2011, COFRA has been producing green energy thanks to a photovoltaic system with a total nominal power of 1.3 MW in a total area of around 10,000 m², which considerably exceeds the area of an entire soccer field. The photovoltaic system covers 60% of the company’s annual energy demand that is equal to the annual electrical energy demand of about 500 families (3,000 kWh). Since the 80’s, COFRA has been recycling the waste of thermoplastic materials used for the production of soles. In 1995, the company

Da tempo anche una grande e primaria azienda come la barlettana Cofra lavora e produce in un’ottica ‘green’. Dal 2011 COFRA produce energia pulita, grazie ad un impianto fotovoltaico della potenza nominale complessiva di circa 1,3 MW e della superficie totale di 10.000 m2 circa, ben superiore a quella di un intero campo da calcio. Il sistema fotovoltaico copre circa il 60% del fabbisogno energetico aziendale annuo, equivalente al fabbisogno annuo di energia elettrica di circa 500 famiglie (3.000 kWh).

Sin dagli anni ’80, COFRA ricicla lo scarto dei materiali termoplastici per la produzione delle suole delle calzature. Nel 1995 l’azienda ha avviato un impianto che ha consentito il riutilizzo degli scarti di produzione (inclusi materiali termoindurenti) per ottenere una delle materie prime delle suole, evitando il rilascio in discarica di oltre 2.000 tonnellate di scarti di materiale poliuretanico con proprietà biodegradabili lentissime. A partire dal 2012, inoltre, è iniziata una nuova attività di recupero e riutilizzo degli scarti di lavorazione per la produzione di suole. COFRA recupera inoltre il 100% degli scarti di lavorazione del PVC dei propri stivali. Infine, l’azienda ha puntato sull’utilizzo di agenti di distacco atossici e prodotti green per la pulizia degli stampi.

Tra i suoi prodotti non possiamo poi non ricordare la linea Green Fit eco-friendly, composta da calzature realizzate con prodotti riciclati ed ecosostenibili.

Nell’impegno ‘verde’ a tutela del futuro dell’ambiente troviamo anche un altro brand di riferimento in ambito safety come UPower, che ha lanciato nel 2020 il progetto U-Green, che prevede la ricerca e lo sviluppo di prodotti e processi in grado di minimizzare gli impatti ambientali, dalla riduzione degli scarti, al recupero e riutilizzo di materiali,

dalla riduzione dei consumi energetici, alla compensazione della CO2 tramite specifici progetti.

Nell'ambito del progetto U-Green, il Gruppo ha ideato una linea di scarpe antinfortunistiche a ridotto impatto ambientale. Per ogni componente della calzatura, è stata ricercata la soluzione in grado di coniugare sostenibilità ambientale ed elevati standard di sicurezza. La tomaia è realizzata con il 50% di materiale riciclato, che garantisce le caratteristiche di robustezza e leggerezza della tecnologia PUTEK, ed è completata da fodera è realizzata per il 66% da materiale riciclato a tunnel d’aria altamente traspirante e stringhe 100% in PU riciclato. La suola è anti-abrasione, antiolio, antiscivolo e antistatica, e realizzata in poliuretano del Gruppo BASF al 100% originato da materie prime rinnovabili; il sistema antiperforazione è ottenuto per il 50% da materiali riciclati e totalmente “metal free”, e garantisce una protezione anti-perforazione sul 100% della superficie, perché cucita direttamente sulla tomaia; il sottopiede, anatomico e antibatterico, è realizzato in poliuretano del Gruppo BASF al 100% originato da fonti rinnovabili.

Restando in ambito di prodotti green ricordiamo anche la nuova Linea Perfomer di Alba&n, espressione degli oltre 25 anni di esperienza maturata dall’azienda leader nel settore delle calzature da lavoro e antinfortunistica. Tomaia e accessori sfoggiano colori vividi e trendy, ma sono realizzate in materiali riciclati che si abbinano in modo interessante alla suola a tre colori, secondo un design 100% Made in Italy. started a plant that allowed it to reuse production wastes (thermosetting materials included) to obtain one of the raw materials used to produce its soles, thereby avoiding the emission of more than 2,000 tonnes of polyurethane waste with very slow biodegradable features. Starting from 2012, a new activity of recovery and reuse of sole production waste has begun. COFRA in fact recovers 100% of the PVC production waste of its boots. Finally, the company is focused on a use of non-toxic removal agents and green products for the cleaning of moulds.

Among its products, standing out in particular is the Green Fit eco-friendly line, made up by footwear produced using recycled and eco-sustainable products. In a “green” scope aimed at protecting the future of the environment, we find another brand of reference in the safety industry, UPower, which in 2020 launched its U-Green project that calls for the research and development of products and processes capable of minimising environmental impact, from reduced waste, to the recovery and reuse of materials, from reduced energy consumption, to the offsetting of CO2 emissions through specific projects.

As part of the U-Green project, the Group has conceived a line of safety shoes with a reduced environmental impact. For each component of the shoes, a solution capable of combining environmental safety with high standards of safety has been identified. The upper is made using 50% recycled materials, which guarantees sturdiness and the lightness of PUTEK technology, and is completed by a lining and 66% recycled materials with air chambers that are highly breathable along with 100% recycled PU laces. The sole is anti-abrasion, anti-oil, anti-slip, and antistatic, and made from BASF Group polyurethane 100% derived from renewable raw materials. The antiperforation system is composed by 50% recycled materials and is completely metal-free, guaranteeing anti-penetration protection on all surfaces, because it is stitched directly onto the upper. Finally, the anatomic and antibacterial insole is made from BASF Group polyurethane 100% derived from renewable sources.

Always in a green scope, there is also the new Alba&n Perfomer Line, an expression of over 25 years of experience matured by the leading company in the occupational and safety footwear sector. The upper and accessories feature bright

and trendy colours, but are made using recycled materials that are matched in an interesting way with the three-tone sole, while following a 100% Made in Italy design. sistemi di automazione per l'iniezione diretta della suola di Desma di Achim in Germania, permettono di iniettare direttamente il Pu della suola e di collegarlo alla tomaia: "Il materiale si 'ancora' nella struttura in rilievo della tomaia della scarpa, indipendentemente dal materiale, garantendo così una presa perfetta", spiega l'amministratore delegato di Desma Klaus Freese. Il materiale della suola racchiude la tomaia, il che apre molte possibilità per un design individuale della suola e proprietà specifiche della suola.

In vari ambiti, ogni iniezione di materiale può raggiungere diversi gradi di durezza. Per chi lo indossa questo garantisce comfort per un periodo di tempo più lungo, assorbimento di energia mirato e stabilità. “Le suole più dure sono più consigliate per le persone più robuste che per i 'pesi piuma'”. Tranquillo a parte il peso, ogni persona ha una sensazione personale di comfort: "In teoria, possiamo persino produrre scarpe in lotto 1-, afferma Freese e aggiunge: - In pratica, tuttavia, eseguiamo principalmente personalizzazione di gruppo.

In questo modo si possono realizzare calzature personalizzate con logo e design aziendale per le aziende. A seconda dell'applicazione e dei carichi associati, un tipo di scarpa potrebbe essere prodotto in diverse versioni con tre durezze della suola”.

Freese è in attività già da molto tempo.

“Quando ho iniziato le scarpe antinfortunistiche erano marroni o nere. La funzione protettiva era al primo posto, il comfort e il design non giocavano quasi nessun ruol o-, racconta. – Oggi le scarpe antinfortunistiche sono difficilmente riconoscibili come tali, sono chic, leggere e comode. La produzione in Europa è resa possibile e commercialmente redditizia solo attraverso un'adeguata automazione. Ciò migliora la qualità e l'equilibrio ambientale.

L'automazione riduce al minimo il consumo di risorse e materiali, accorcia le distanze di trasporto e la qualità costante rende i prodotti robusti e durevoli”.

COMFORT AND CUSTOMIZATION Shoe machine manufacturer, Desma specializes in direct sole lines and automation systems: its direct sole injection technology allows a high degree of customization and comfort: the Ceo Klaus Freese tells us about it.

The automation systems for the direct injection of the sole of Desma by Achim in Germany, allow to directly inject the Pu of the sole and to cross-link it to the upper: “The material ‘anchors in’ the raised texture of the shoe’s upper – regardless of the material – thereby ensuring perfect hold,” explains Desma Managing Director Klaus Freese. The sole material encloses the upper, which opens up many possibilities for an individual sole design and specific sole properties.

In various areas, each injection of material can attain differing degrees of hardness. For wearers this ensures comfort over a longer period of time, targeted energy absorption and stability. “Harder soles are more recommended for heavier-built people than for ‘featherweights’”.

Quiet apart from weight every person has a personal feeling of comfort. “Theoretically, we can even produce shoes in batch size 1,” says Freese and adds: “In practice, however, we mostly do

group customisation. This way custom footwear with corporate logo and design can be realised for companies. Depending on the application and associated loads, one type of shoe could be produced in different versions with three shoe sole hardnesses.”

Freese has been in business for a long time already. “When I started safety shoes were either brown or black. The protective function ranked first, wear comfort and design played almost no role,” recounts Freese. “Today, safety shoes are hardly recognisable as such, they are chic, lightweight and comfortable. Production in Europe is only made possible and commercially viable through suitable automation. This improves the quality and the environmental balance. Automation reduces the consumption of resources and materials to a minimum, shortens transport distances, and the consistent quality makes for rugged, durable products”.

The new IR50 and IR500 in their different colour versions, are made of textile material with high abrasion and tear resistance, and are developed according to the UNE EN ISO 20345 standard that provides the best safety, having the protection level S1 + SRC + CI + P. The new, modern, and ergonomic design, both in the shoe and boot, increases the level of practicality and comfort without detracting from the degree of protection that the professional needs to carry out their work in complete safety, while the two-density polyurethane sole provides maximum cushioning by absorbing shock energy in the heel when walking, to avoid injuries to the lower body such as ankles, knees and hips. THE “SMALL SIZES” FOR TECHNICAL FOOTWEAR

For almost 70 years, Nastrotex Cufra has been a manufacturer of elastic tapes for apparel, sports and footwear in the lower Bergamo area, and has expanded its offer to technical footwear with rigid products ranging from straps, tapes, cords to elastic strings.

In addition to the continuative classics that are also used in fashion such as folding or needle scraps (art. 5015), it specialises in the production of those almost rigid items, which are part of the “small format” category: straps, tapes, cords and elastic strings. These are inserted as a loop on the back of the shoe, on the tongue, as a string, gaiter, between the sole and the upper for the injection shoe (see art. T21-12 and GLASS STRAP) and in some cases even only as an aesthetic element.

In addition to the solid colour, Nastrotex Cufra is able to offer customised services, from jacquard processing, to printing up to siliconing and from added applications, such as reflective foils, to flame retardant and water repellent treatments.

UN NUOVO MAGAZZINO AUTOMATIZZATO E AUTOPORTANTE

La multinazionale italiana, che produce specialità chimiche dal 1962, inaugura a Offanengo (CR) un nuovo magazzino automatizzato e autoportante, frutto di un investimento di oltre 10 milioni di euro.

È

stato da poco inaugurato il nuovo magazzino automatizzato che COIM ha realizzato nell’impianto produttivo di Offanengo e che definì come progetto nel 2018. Obiettivo del progetto, finalizzato a sostenere l’incremento del business di COIM, è stato quello di realizzare un magazzino interno allo stabilimento ma dislocato in una posizione che consentisse la razionalizzazione intralogistica: dalla viabilità interna, alla flessibilità e velocità nell’evasione degli ordini, fino, ovviamente, alla massima sicurezza.

In seguito ad un’attenta valutazione delle opzioni disponibili – magazzino tradizionale a catasta, magazzino semiautomatico o magazzino automatico con trasloelevatori – COIM ha optato per quest’ultimo, compiendo una scelta sfidante nel mondo della chimica.

Il nuovo magazzino, destinato allo stoccaggio di sostanze chimiche - materie prime e prodotti finiti pronti per la consegna - è completamente automatizzato e i flussi di movimentazione sono guidati da un sistema WMS (Warehouse Management System) “su misura” che traccia la rotazione delle referenze gestite, consentendo una distribuzione delle merci ottimizzata nelle aree di stoccaggio. Il sistema WMS garantisce, inoltre, la tracciabilità dei prodotti, i cui avanzamenti sono singolarmente individuati da un sistema di barcoding delle unità di carico.

Trattandosi di un magazzino interno a un impianto chimico, lo studio per la sua realizzazione ha richiesto numerosi ulteriori approfondimenti e ha dovuto tenere conto di accorgimenti specifici, non da ultimo una doppia protezione antincendio.

“Il progetto ha visto il coinvolgimento di oltre quaranta fornitori diretti, oltre cento se prendiamo in considerazione le subforniture”, spiega Massimo Tonani, Site Manager dello stabilimento COIM a Offanengo.

“Possiamo affermare che sono state coinvolte le migliori aziende e competenze italiane in questo ambito, oltre a funzioni strategiche di COIM”.

Le prestazioni del magazzino, certo, ma anche la riduzione dell’impatto paesaggistico e ambientale sono stati al centro di un’ampia riflessione: “Se avessimo optato per un magazzino tradizionale, per ottenere lo stesso risultato in termini di capacità avremmo dovuto costruire su una superficie di suolo vergine molto più ampia”, aggiunge Massimo Tonani.

A NEW AUTOMATED SELF-SUPPORTING WAREHOUSE

The Italian multinational, which has been producing specialty chemicals since 1962, inaugurates a new automated self-supporting warehouse in Offanengo, the result of an investment above 10 million euro The new automated warehouse that COIM built in the Offanengo production plant and whose project was defined in 2018 has been recently inaugurated. The project objective, aimed at supporting the increase in COIM’s business, was to create a warehouse inside the factory but located in a position that would allow intralogistic rationalisation: from inner access, to flexibility and speed in order processing, up to, obviously, maximum safety. Following a careful evaluation of the available options - traditional stacked warehouse, semi-automatic warehouse or automatic warehouse with stacker cranes - COIM opted for the latter, making a challenging choice in the world of chemistry. The new warehouse, intended for the storage of chemicals - raw materials and finished products ready for delivery - is completely automated and the handling flows are guided by a “tailor-made” WMS (Warehouse Management System) that tracks the rotation of the managed

references, with optimisation of product storage and distribution. The WMS system also guarantees the traceability of the goods, whose progress is individually identified by a bar-coding system of the loading units. Being a warehouse inside a chemical plant, the study for its construction required numerous further investigations taking into account specific precautions, not least double fire safety-measures.

“The project saw the involvement of more than forty direct suppliers, over one hundred if we consider also subcontracting”, explains Massimo Tonani, Site Manager of the COIM plant in Offanengo. The performance of the warehouse, of course, but also the reduction of the landscape and environmental impact required some thinking: “If we had opted for a traditional warehouse, to obtain the same result in terms of capacity we would have had to build on a much larger surface of virgin soil”, adds Massimo Tonani.

l BCROBOT è appositamente studiato per eseguire in piena autonomia il montaggio e la cardatura di una scarpa SAFETY, coadiuvato da un sistema di macchine a cui è connesso, come la Premonta 710SF e la Smerigliatrice anti-incendio 88N. Il processo così automatizzato presenta, come intuibile, la possibilità di effettuare un buon numero di operazione con continuità e applicando la medesima precisione per ogni passaggio.

Vediamo in dettaglio cosa è in grado di fare, seguendo le indicazioni per un possibile processo standard, fornite dalla vigevanese Elettrotecnica BC. L’operatore, dopo aver effettuato il pre-tiraggio della tomaia grazie alla macchina modello 663, che consente di verificare anche eventuali difetti o macchie presenti sulla pelle, posiziona e fissa il puntale per poi affidare la forma vestita alla macchina adibita alla fase di umidificazione.

A questo punto il modello entra nell’isola automatizzata e viene preso in carico dal braccio robotico BCROBOT che è in grado di prelevare il campione dall’umidificatore MOD. 269W, inserire la scarpa nella premonta MOD. 710SF e, quindi, prelevarla nuovamente ed eseguire un processo di cardatura. Infine, il ciclo termina con il braccio robotico che deposita la tomaia nel frigorifero così da stabilizzarlo correttamente tramite un procedimento a freddo. Un secon-

The automated process presents, as perfectly evident, the possibility of carrying out continuously a good number of operations and applying the same precision for each step.

Let’s see in detail what it is able to do, following the indications for a possible standard process, provided by Elettrotecnica BC based in Vigevano.

The operator, after having carried out the prestretching of the upper thanks to the machine mod. 663, which also allows you to check any defects or stains on the leather, positions and fixes the toe cap and then entrusts the dressed last to the machine used for the humidification phase.

At this point the model enters the automated island and is taken over by the robotic arm

BCROBOT which is able to take the sample from the humidifier MOD. 269W, insert the shoe into the lasting machine MOD. 710SF and then pick it up again and carry out a carding process. Finally, the cycle ends when the robotic arm deposits the upper in the chiller for the cold setting through a chilling process. At that point, a second operator will be able to take back the pre-assembled shoe, free it from the last, and pass it on to the injection phase. An effective and efficient automated process made possible thanks to the Industry 4.0 devices present on all machines, which allow Elettrotecnica BC to make the machines communicate with the robotic arm in perfect synchrony.

What are the main advantages of adopting a system configured this way? The main one consists in being able to complete the footwear processes of the upper on the last, toe cap insertion, shoe humidification, shoe assembly, bottom carding and cold setting with only two operators.

Ecostep Pro è realizzata con un minimo di 30% di gomma riciclata, proveniente dagli scarti di produzione delle suole, e la mescola è antistatica ed è studiata per assicurare valide prestazioni di grip su superfici bagnate e oleose e di resistenza all’usura.

Vibram Traction Lug è, invece, un design specifico per i chiodi in gomma studiato per amplificare la trazione. La conformazione dei tasselli, oltre che la loro specifica posizione sul battistrada, contribuisce in modo importante a enfatizzare le perfomance delle mescole e delle tecnologie.

Grazie, infatti, allo studio di evolute tecniche di stampaggio fatte dai lab Vibram, è stato possibile realizzare un design di tassello innovativo, in cui la tridimensinalità è arricchita da specifiche scanalature e inserti in gomma di piccole dimensioni disposti lungo le pareti laterali.

dimostrazione che la pandemia non ha rallentato i progressi del suo team di Ricerca & Sviluppo prodotto, Texon porterà una serie di nuovi prodotti alla prossima edizione di A+A 2021 focalizzati sul connubio tra protezione e comfort.

Ne è un esempio il recente lancio della tecnologia di tessitura jacquard ProWeave che, attraverso l’uso di un telaio jacquard in grado di intrecciare centinaia di fili di ordito o muovere un singolo filo di avvolgimento indipendentemente, permette di avere un materiale più forte e più resistente di quelli realizzati con tecniche di tessitura tradizionali. Un plus che è sicuramente importante anche nell’ambito Safety, dove ProWeave può essere impiegato per realizzare tomaie e capi di abbigliamento robusti e impermeabili, ma anche traspiranti e confortevoli, nonché calzature dotate di tomaie con diverse zone di elasticità, tenacità, resistenza all'abrasione e rinforzo uniche e multidirezionali. Disponibile nelle varianti in poliestere naturale o riciclato (RPET), ProWeave può essere integrato con le più recenti tecnologie di poliuretano termoplastico (TPU) per dare un ulteriore impulso alla resistenza all'abrasione e allo strappo e alla trazione.

Ad A+A sarà inoltre presentata una serie di nuove solette tessili anti-penetrazione non metalliche; certificate EN ISO 22568:2021Part 4; con protezione contro il grado di chiodi PL (4,5 mm) e PS (3,0 mm): - TEXON ENIGMA ZERO HT3: sottopiede tessile anti-penetrazione disponibile nelle opzioni isolante e conduttivo, realizzato al 100% in poliestere HT. - TEXON ENIGMA ZERO HT GREEN: realizzato con il 60% di poliestere riciclato, disponibile anche nei formati isolante e conduttivo.

- TEXON ENIGMA ZERO T427: soletta tessile di nuova generazione, con poliestere HT e fibre aramidiche, più leggera e resistente dei precedenti materiali Enigma.

PROWEAVE AND OTHER INNOVATIONS IN HIGH-TECH MATERIAL SOLUTIONS

At the next A+A the company presents its new products such as ProWeave jacquard weaving technology and non-metallic anti-penetration textile insoles.

Proving the pandemic hasn’t slowed the progress of its product Research & development team, Texon will be taking a series of new and re-worked products to A+A 2021 –, focusing on the possibility to balance protection and comfort. An example is the recently launched ProWeave jacquard weaving technology. Produced on a jacquard loom, which can interlace hundreds of warp threads or move a single wrap yarn independently, ProWeave is stronger and more resilient than materials made from traditional weaving techniques. A plus, this one, that is particularly important also in the safety market, where ProWeave can be engineered to create shoe uppers and garments that are robust and waterproof, but also breathable and comfortable, but also shoe uppers with different unique, multi-directional elasticity, tenacity, abrasion resistance and reinforcement zones. Available in natural or recycled polyester (RPET) variants, ProWeave can be integrated with the latest thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) technologies to give a further boost to abrasion resistance and tear and tensile strength.

At A+A will be also presented a series of new antipenetration textile insoles non-metallic; EN ISO

22568:2021 Part 4; protection against nail grade PL (4.5mm) and PS (3.0mm): - TEXON ENIGMA ZERO HT3: anti-penetration textile insole available in insulating and conductive options and made from 100% polyester HT. - TEXON ENIGMA ZERO HT GREEN is made with 60% recycled polyester and is also available in insulating and conductive formats.

- TEXON ENIGMA ZERO T427 - new generation textile insole, made with polyester HT and aramid fibers, lighter and stronger than previous Enigma materials.

Per il settore calzatura antinfortunistica, la novità della sua gamma è costituita dalla pressatrice ISG21 basata su un innovativo processo di pressatura ad acqua che non necessita di dime, regolazioni meccaniche e salvaguarda la struttura del componente in pressione, dato che quest'ultima viene applicata gradatamente senza urti. Una tecnologia vincente che si basa su bacinelle rettangolari unica al mondo, e facile da utilizzare da parte dell'operatore grazie ad un software dedicato che segue l'installazione, l'utilizzo e la manutenzione. Rapida e precisa, la ISG21 è la macchina ideale per la calzatura di sicurezza e per ogni altra calzatura tecnica, e per qualsiasi operazione di accoppiatura nei suolifici, di suole tecniche e componenti vari.

Accanto a questa tecnologia, Tecno 2 ripropone al mercato due suoi macchinari top di gamma per la calzatura safety/ tecnica: La T30/1 e la T77A. Tradition, solid know-how, innovation, and an understanding of the markets of reference are the elements ever-present in the Tecno 2 technological offering, which has always been aimed at simplifying and optimizing productive processes in a digital and smart key. Its machines combine an excellent quality/price ratio with the high quality of the materials used guaranteeing high work precision and durability, with attention to the security of machines in accordance with CEE directives. For the safety shoe industry, brand new to its range is the ISG21 pressing system based on an innovative process of water pressing that does not require templates or mechanical adjustments, protecting any pressed component, since the pressure is applied gradually without shocks. A winning technology that is based on rectangular basins that are one-of-a-kind worldwide and easy to use by operators, thanks to the dedicated software that

Rapid and precise, ISG21is the ideal machine for safety footwear and for all technical footwear, as well as for any bonding process in sole factories of technical soles and various components.

Next to this technology, Tecno 2 re-proposes two of its top-of-the-range machines for safety/technical footwear: the T30/1 and the T77A. A pneumatic press for footwear and boots with double membranes to attach walled soles, the T30/1 is characterised by high productivity – 600 pairs produced every 8 hours -, limited consumption and reduced dimensions, taking up a minimal amount of space. The T77A pneumatic vulcanizing machine for the vulcanization of rubber soles directly onto the upper, is suited also to the production of military shoes, as well as sports and safety shoes, with automatic rising of male mould with temporized descending, and the automatic opening and closing of mould rings: the machine Pressure is 6150 kilos at 10 Atm, with a power of 4800W, and air consumption of 440 litres at 10 Atm per pair per each working cycle.

I principali eventi fieristici dedicati al mondo della sicurezza e la prevenzione dei rischi sul lavoro dell'agenda internazionale e nazionale: le date e i contenuti Gli operatori internazionali del settore, dopo A+A, torneranno ad incontrarsi dal 22 al 25 febbraio 2022 a Madrid per di Sicur 2022, 23ma edizione del salone organizzato da Ifema Madrid che punta a aiutare il settore nella ripresa focalizzandosi sugli ultimi sviluppi tecnologici, l'innovazione, l'attrezzatura di sicurezza e i servizi.

Ma non solo, anche nella condivisione del sapere di una industria che sta attraversando la sfida di una importante trasformazione digitale.

Le aree espositive sono distinte nei temi: fuoco, sicurezza e emergenze; sicurezza sul lavoro e, per la prima volta, anche la cybersicurezza avrà un'area dedicata all'interno della fiera.

Il Forum Sicur ospiterà il programma di incontri con esperti che approfondiranno alcune delle tematiche “più calde” del settore, mentre l'Innovation Gallery metterà in mostra i più innovativi progetti in campo di sicurezza.

Organizzato dalle riviste Antincendio e Ambiente & Sicurezza sul Lavoro di EPC Periodici in collaborazione con Istituto Informa, è dedicato alla prevenzione degli incendi, la salute e sicurezza sul lavoro.

After A+A, the international operators of the sector will meet again from 22 to 25 February 2022 in Madrid for Sicur 2022, the 23rd edition of the fair organised by Ifema Madrid which aims to help the sector in the recovery by focusing on the latest technological developments, innovation, safety equipment and services. But not just that, also in sharing the knowledge of an industry that is going through the challenge of an important digital transformation.

The exhibition areas are divided into themes: fire, safety and emergencies; workplace safety and, for the first time, also cybersecurity will have a dedicated area within the fair. The Sicur Forum will host the programme of meetings with experts who will explore some of the “major” topics in the sector, while the Innovation Gallery will showcase the most innovative projects in the security field.

Finally, alongside the physical event, the SicurLIVEconnect online platform will offer premium content to promote the fair’s business agenda and trade relations.

Expoprotection, another major appointment on the international agenda, is back in Paris Porte de Versaille from 15 to 17 November 2022. The event that compares 20,000 exhibitors with 800 exhibitors every two years, brings the entire universe of professional and industrial risks to the fair, together with the universe of prevention and fires in the sections dedicated to: Workplace Prevention, Protection, Industrial Risks, Interventions/Aid; Workwear; Components and Accessories.
