Clean, essential and no-frills design, inclusive and accessible. A design approach in which simplicity, elegance, safety, and functionality prevail: we are talking about ‘post-pandemic design’, which has become a reality in Italy, linked to the fact that, following the pandemic experience, people have decisively re-evaluated their way of living in both open and closed spaces. They have also strongly re-evaluated the importance of having a private aquatic space. Today’s swimming pools are made with innovative technologies, elements that denote attention to health and adaptive, multifunctional spaces for a safe, human-centric and sustainable facility, i.e. one that is capable of maintaining itself over time, respectful of resources and does not cause damage to the environment. This design trend, which emphasises simplicity, functionality and sustainability, is in line with the new paradigms of wellbe-
ing, health and environmental awareness that are spreading both in Italy and the rest of the world. Geometric, rectangular or even square, swimming pools with clean edges and precise corners are becoming increasingly common, as are elegant infinity edges that blend into the horizon. Revolutionary ideas and innovative solutions that can transform the human experience are now more welcome than ever. Rectangular shapes remain a timeless classic, not least because of their versatility, which allows for efficient space management, with subdivisions for different functions. The pandemic has prompted many people to re-evaluate what is essential and functional for well-being, and minimalist designs respond to this trend by eliminating the superfluous. There is therefore also room for smaller pools, but with multiple accessories and hi-tech features, to be installed in any outdoor or indoor environment.
SUSTAINABLE SWIMMING POOLS WANTED
Sustainable design is a constantly evolving field and is strongly linked to technological innovation and smart technologies, which, together, reinforce innovation and the value of the built environment: owners who want to add value to their property must aim for class A. Today, the focus is on water resources, so water efficiency and water saving in the design of systems will be with us for a long time to come, alongside energy saving. Rainwater collection, storage and recycling systems, a field in which Italy is lagging far behind – while they are standard in drought-stricken countries such as Australia – will become the norm in our country, including for swimming pools, as will the reuse of water resources. Systems and plants are already being designed to minimise waste, such as the reuse of treated wastewater for filter washing.
A DESIGN THAT NODS TO NATURE
Clean, essential, geometric design goes hand in hand with biophilic design applied to swimming pools. Organic shapes with irregular or curved edges that mimic the natural contours of lakes or ponds, and the use of natural materials such as stone, wood, pebbles and sand with integrated vegetation characterise natural pools and bio-pools. Biophilic design (from the Greek words ‘bio’ = life and ‘philia’ = love, attraction) is an applied science that uses the latest discoveries on the relationship between humans and nature to design artificial environments. It is well known that biophilic design reduces stress, stimulates creativity and clarity of thought, improves our mental and physical well-being and accelerates healing. Integrating the principles of biophilic design into the furnishing and design of outdoor spaces – particularly around the pool – means go-

ing beyond aesthetics to create environments capable of generating authentic well-being. In this context, nature is not just a backdrop, but an active and intentional presence: trees that offer shade and privacy, green pergolas covered with climbing plants, water features that extend the sensory experience of the pool, materials such as natural stone, heat-treated wood or bamboo that provide warm, lively textures under your fingers and bare feet.
CONCRETE, A TIMELESS CLASSIC THAT EVOLVES
The widespread use of construction technologies based on metal and polystyrene panels has not led to the decline of concrete in swimming pool construction, which is currently experiencing a renaissance. After all, Italy has always stood out for its ‘artisan DNA’: it is therefore not surprising that concrete (a symbol of solidity and customisation) is returning to prominence in the construction of swimming
pools, responding to the desire for uniqueness, durability and timeless beauty. The technology of 3D printing applied to concrete should not be underestimated: thanks to its latest developments, it promises to offer greater efficiency, sustainability and creative freedom in architectural design. Continuous research and development into the most advanced materials, combined with constant improvements in printing speed and precision, point to a bright future for this solution. Thanks also to integration with artificial intelligence and real-time monitoring, progress in terms of efficiency, quality and sustainability in construction should be significant. All this with significantly greater degrees of freedom in terms of creativity and design: at least on paper, 3D printing has the potential to redefine the world of construction for the better, making feasible what was once considered impossible.
MAKE WAY FOR FUN AND WELLBEING
In Italy, swimming pools symbolise not only relaxation but also fun and wellbeing. And so, we are seeing more and more accessories designed to maximise these aspects: slides, floats, diving boards, water spouts, fountains, waterfalls of varying heights, hydromassage jets and beds, water blades, cervical showers, Kneipp paths, geysers and beach entrances, which can be used as play areas for children or spaces for relaxation and sunbathing at the water’s edge. Water games are also becoming increasingly popular, especially when the pool users are also (or mainly) children, as are sports training accessories, from aquabikes to underwater treadmills, to the increasingly technological and advanced counter-current swimming systems.
The design of a swimming pool is no longer limited exclusively to the pool itself, but takes into account several other details that can really make a difference, starting with the space around the edge. Walkways and solarium areas are now designed to be truly useful and safe for swimmers and resistant to chemicals and/or atmospheric agents to en-
sure they last a long time. For this reason, the widths of the various sides are varied to create areas for different uses, taking into account the distance/proximity to adjacent furnishings, coverings and architecture, as well as, of course, direct exposure to sunlight to optimally position sunbeds, parasols, seats, lighting points, etc. When choosing materials, a compromise between aesthetics and functionality is

sought. Another stylistic detail that has taken on great importance is access to the pool: the entrance to the pool is in the spotlight and is a real feature, with elegant steps, a solarium at water level, zero-entry areas, refined seating, geometric staircases, lighting points and hydromassage, etc. Between aesthetics, functionality, well-being and naturalness, the only real limit is your imagination.
THE MAGIC OF OUTDOOR FURNITURE BY THE POOL
In the contemporary Italian design scene, outdoor furniture – particularly that intended for the poolside area – is taking on an increasingly central role, transforming itself from a simple seasonal accessory to a true extension of the living space. The current trend is to design exteriors as ‘open-air rooms’, with as much attention to detail as interiors. Materials, colours and volumes are selected to create visual continuity and harmony with the architecture of the house, without sacrificing functionality or weather resistance. By the pool, traditional sun loungers are giving way to more sophisticated and versatile solutions: oversized daybeds with removable cushions, chaises-longues with wooden frames and nautical rope weaving, as well as modular outdoor sofas that can be arranged to create real outdoor lounge areas. Low tables, enveloping seats, and benches integrated into the surrounding greenery complete the setting, transforming the environment into an open-air living area where you can relax, read, have lunch or entertain guests. Particular attention is paid to the choice of materials: painted aluminium, teak treated for outdoor use, wo-
ven fibres and waterproof, UV-resistant technical fabrics guarantee durability and easy maintenance, while maintaining a warm and sophisticated aesthetic. Handcrafted textures – such as rope or synthetic rattan weaves – add a natural, textured touch that is highly appreciated for creating a welcoming and informal atmosphere. The colour palette is also evolving: the classic combination of white and anthracite is complemented by shades inspired by nature – sand, ochre, forest green, deep blue – often used as a neutral base on which to add more vibrant accents, such as sunny-coloured cushions, decorative outdoor rugs or parasols with contrasting borders and retro fringes. Finally, lighting plays a key role: rechargeable portable lamps, wall lights, recessed floor lights or contemporary-style lanterns help to extend the usability of spaces even in the evening hours, creating soft and evocative settings. The picture is completed by specially designed flooring, often in stoneor wood-effect stoneware, which ensures aesthetic continuity and non-slip properties, ideal for the solarium area. The aim is twofold: to guarantee safety and, at the same time, enhance the surrounding environment through textured surfaces that are consistent with the style of the home. In short, outdoor poolside furniture is establishing itself as a true living experience, combining comfort, aesthetics and durability. It is a new way of experiencing the outdoors, which transcends seasonality and interprets the garden – or terrace – as a dynamic, flexible space that is deeply connected to the quality of everyday life.

THE VALUE OF LIGHTING
In recent times, there has been a growing trend in Italy to use lighting as a real element to create atmosphere, especially in outdoor spaces or areas dedicated to relaxation. It is no longer just a question of functional lighting, but of a way to create evocative, welcoming and personalised environments using small fibre optic light points, coloured LED spotlights, electric candles, lanterns or warm light lamps, etc. When it comes to pool lighting, there is a trend that leaves room for imagination but also focuses on energy saving, thanks to solutions such as LEDs (also with smart control and/or dimming), which, in addition to lasting a long time and offering beautiful light effects, reduce consumption and require less maintenance. Pool lighting is no longer just a purely technical issue, but a real scenic element: light effects, colours, RGB effects and, more generally, proper integrated lighting design (including the use of simulation software to optimise positions and effects) allow the pool to be lit correctly and create a striking visual impact that blends perfectly with the breath-taking landscapes we are fortunate to have in Italy. In addition, pool edges, paths and relaxation areas are treated as furnishing elements, and lighting them has become essential.

MINI POOLS: INCREASINGLY POPULAR
« In recent times, there has been a growing trend in Italy to use lighting as a real element to create atmosphere, especially in outdoor spaces or areas dedicated to relaxation »
In recent years, the installation of mini hot tubs has shown a growing trend in Italy (which has been given a boost by the post-pandemic period): more and more families, as well as accommodation facilities, are choosing compact 2-8 seater tubs with spa functions to enjoy moments of relaxation at home or outdoors, as well as on terraces and poolside. These figures, supported by the observation of an increased presence of mini pools in showrooms, suggest that demand is driven by very concrete reasons: the desire for domestic comfort, greater attention to personal well-being and quality of life, the possibility of installing the tub even in relatively small spaces (terrace, patio, poolside) and the increasingly accessible range in terms of design and technology. Furthermore, the versatility of mini pools, which can be integrated into both high-end residential contexts and as a distinctive feature in second homes or urban terraces, has encouraged their widespread use. In summary: affordable entry price, reasonable consumption, a wide range of technical features and a growing desire for a ‘private spa’ are driving the spread of mini hot tubs throughout Italy.
SAFETY: INCREASINGLY IMPORTANT
The issue of safety is receiving increasing attention in Italy, including at the political level. In September 2023, for example, the Minister for Civil Protection and Maritime Policy convened a summit with the aim of identifying the most suitable solutions for preventing the many accidents that still occur in swimming pools of all types. During the summit (the first in the history of the sector), a regulatory solution was discussed that would introduce not only specific technical standards but also specific safety measures to be guaranteed in the construction and use of swimming pools. The event marked the beginning of a collaboration between the Department of Civil Protection and Maritime Policy and a number of Italian industry associations to define national safety standards and guidelines. Although the main objective was to amend and supplement existing legislation, the government and associations also wanted to promote training and awareness programmes and initiatives at the regional and national levels. To ensure an appropriate level of safety in swimming pools, artificial intelligence-based technologies are becoming widely used, with the aim of preventing and promptly identifying accidents in the pool. AI-based solutions are being applied to more ‘traditional’ safety systems, combining them with cloud
solutions, advanced video surveillance systems and smarthome technology, thus taking accident prevention in swimming pools to a higher level. Among the most widespread solutions are the application of AI to wearable systems with sensors (such as smartwatches and chest straps), AI and deep learning are also used to perform, speed up and improve routine tasks such as counting people in the water or scheduling pool use, to support facility management more generally, or to ensure more efficient and prudent use of energy and water resources. Continuous remote monitoring is also benefiting from AI: the use of specific predictive microbiology algorithms, for example, makes it possible to identify and prevent the spread of potentially harmful bacteria such as Legionella and E. coli. In summary, in addition to the now well-known wearable devices, visual intelligence AI technologies are becoming widespread in Italy to monitor, identify and notify what is happening in and around the pool. High-definition AI cameras, active above and below water, offer multiple levels of alert that exceed the capabilities of traditional pool alarm systems, AI video analysis to report potentially dangerous situations in real time, and software that facilitates the work of staff to ensure the safety of swimmers and the perfect functioning of the entire facility.

NEW REGULATIONS ON THE WAY
Long-awaited by many professionals in our sector, new regulations on health and safety in swimming pools have finally materialised in the form of a draft framework law (“DDL”) that began its parliamentary process in August 2025. The status of this bill in Parliament will be discussed during the 2026 edition of XLeisure-ForumPiscine, when a number of industry experts will address the key aspects of this regulatory framework. The measure in question introduces, for the first time in Italy, a unified national regulation to protect swimmers and users of public and private swimming facilities, with the aim of establishing uniform minimum standards in terms of safety, hygiene and health requirements, facilities and management: this is a major step forward, considering that the current legislation is over twenty years old.
FUN THAT MAKES A SPLASH
Widely understood as a play area animated by the dynamic movement of water, spray parks have recently gained well-deserved popularity in Italy. These areas are common in amusement and water parks, and the public clearly appreciates them. The interesting thing is that those who manage an accommodation facility that already has a swimming pool area in need of renovation often opt for this type of solution because it is easy to integrate (from beach campsites to country hotels), flexible, low-cost and requires little maintenance. In an era in which the word ‘leisure’ increasingly combines distinct but complementary concepts such as fitness, wellness, water and outdoor activities, play and socialising, it is not surprising that spray parks have now become an important trend for all recreational facilities, from hotels to campsites, sports centres to Italian water parks. As Myrtha Pools Product specialist Massimo Aga Rossi explained to us during an interview, “this success is due to the fact that operators in the sector have now understood the added value of offering something completely different, which, in my opinion, has three

main advantages: attractiveness, accessibility and interactivity. Attractiveness is particularly interesting for children, helping to reduce potential crowding (and disturbance) in the pool area, which is often frequented by people with very different needs. Accessibility is equally important in attracting as wide an audience as possible; a spray pad, in
particular, can be used by a child who is still crawling (with their parents’ complete peace of mind) as well as by an elderly person who no longer feels safe using a traditional pool. Accessibility also means inclusivity, an issue that businesses, organisations and public institutions have been promoting for several years now”.

acts as a bridge between the market, training and updating during all three days of ForumPiscine. It also gives ample space to the state of the art in swimming pools. The Innovation Area, an exhibition space entirely dedicated to innovation in the swimming pool and spa sector, has also been confirmed for the 2026 edition. A hi-tech stage for the best in research and innovation in safety, sustainability, advanced technologies and artificial intelligence, it will have many surprises in store for its visitors.
KEY CONTENT FOR THE FUTURE OF THE SECTOR
The rich open conference programme of ForumPiscine reserves great surprises for participants every year. Among the most important topics of the 2026 edition, we can mention the following:
→ Energy, consumption, costs and efficiency strategies for swimming pools - in collaboration with CoNGePi (National Confederation of Swimming Pool Managers) and FIRE (Italian Federation for the Rational Use of Energy), ForumPiscine presents the second edition of the ‘National Report on Energy and Water Consumption in Swimming Facilities’. An authoritative survey created within the framework of the Observatory established by ForumPiscine, this study aims to highlight the strengths and weaknesses in the management of energy and water consumption in swimming pools open to the public. Its main purpose is to provide a snapshot of the state of the art and the most successful practices in order to enable the sharing of good energy and environmental practices in the interests of designers, builders and managers.
→ Pool safety – with the collaboration of Assopiscine (Italian swimming pool and wellness association), the issue of pool safety is addressed by authoritative experts, called upon to propose solutions in line with regulations and the latest available technologies, in order to reduce risk margins as much as possible, without forgetting the framework law under discussion in Parliament.
→ Regulations and rules that redefine the management and organisation of swimming pools, sports facilities and fitness/wellness clubs – the most current and urgent regulatory, fiscal and contractual issues are addressed in detail (and in all their technical and operational implications) by a panel of speakers of recognised experience and professionalism.
ITALIAN POOL AWARD, THE EXCELLENCE IN ITALIAN SWIMMING POOLS
Every year, the Italian Pool Award is one of the most eagerly awaited moments at ForumPiscine. Launched by Piscine Oggi magazine with the aim of recognising and promoting excellence in the Italian swimming pool industry, the Italian Pool Award is given to projects that stand out in terms of technology, design, integration with the environment and attention to water and energy saving. The competition –which is free and open to all – is aimed not only at profes-
sionals in the sector (companies, manufacturers, technical firms, designers, architects, etc.), but also at private owners of residential and commercial swimming pools for public use (resorts, wellness and fitness centres, spas, farmhouses, etc.). The candidate pools are divided into the categories of residential outdoor, residential indoor, commercial outdoor, commercial indoor and bio-pools, and, if their characteristics allow, they also compete for the AIAPP Special Recognition (introduced in 2024): representatives of AIAPP (Italian Association of Landscape Architecture) award this special prize to the project that stands out most for its integration into the surrounding natural environment. All the pools in the competition are featured in the traditional photographic exhibition, which is open free of charge to all visitors to ForumPiscine, while the winners are awarded a parchment and the prestigious bronze statuette created by designer Osvaldo Casanova and produced by the historic Merighi Arte foundry in Bologna. A unique moment of exchange, discussion and celebration of the design and construction quality of the Italian swimming pool sector.
THE BEAUTY OF THE OUTDOORS
The Outex-Outdoor Experience exhibition continues to grow. The 2026 edition will feature both the ‘Beach Gallery’, set up in collaboration with Mondo Balneare (a collective of companies that, as in the previous edition, will present products and solutions focused on outdoor furniture), and exclusive experiential areas, which bring to life concepts of innovation, design and sustainability applied to outdoor spaces, combining technological research and respect for the landscape.
The first experiential area is entitled “Save Water”. It is ideally linked to a zero-impact swimming pool project pre-
sented at ForumPiscine in 2020 to show that our sector is ready to take on and overcome the challenges posed by climate change and the water crisis. The result of a synergistic convergence between AIAPP (Italian Association of Landscape Architecture), the Master’s Degree Course in Landscape Architecture at UniGe/UniMi (Departments of Architecture and Design and Agricultural and Environmental Sciences) and a number of companies in the swimming pool and outdoor sector, “Save Water” aims to explore the interaction between two different but complementary dimensions. On the one hand, there is the technological-engineering dimension of the ‘smart’ swimming pool with minimal environmental impact that exploits the recovery and recycling of rainwater: this component will take the form of a model of sustainable innovation for responsible water management. On the other hand, there is the landscape dimension, coordinated at an educational and operational level by lecturers Adriana Ghersi, Paola Sabbion, Ilda Vagge and tutor Emma Franco, who is working on the project together with the students. A swimming pool cannot be truly ‘smart’ if it does not take into account the environmental context in which it is located: relying on a high-level team, Save Water aims to demonstrate this in concrete terms through simulations and ad hoc meetings. Among the latter, we mention ‘The swimming pool in protected landscape contexts’, a discussion organised by AIAPP between professionals and institutions on the constraints affecting aquatic facilities in agricultural areas of historical or landscape interest.
The second experiential area – curated by the Scaglia & Partners studio, founded by architect Franco Scaglia (now a consultant and one of the best-known professionals in the fitness and wellness sector) – is entitled ‘No man is an island’ and focuses on the creation of a space dedicated to
Outdoor Experience

outdoor leisure: a model installation of an area equipped for training, play and outdoor sports activities. The design idea developed by the Scaglia & Partners studio was born from the desire and need to create a space that is truly accessible to all. A dynamic path that winds its way through interconnected islands, each designed to accommodate different users: from young athletes to inactive people, from those living with disabilities to seniors. ‘No man is an island’ offers activities aimed at developing strength, mobility and cardio fitness, culminating in two oases dedicated to relaxation and mindfulness. This inclusive structure is an invitation to recognise that we are all interconnected, in our feelings, actions and their consequences. All this takes the form of an inclusive outdoor space that blends harmoniously into a collective public context (urban areas, parks and sports facilities) or private context (fitness clubs, wellness centres, and accommodation facilities).
FORUMCLUB CONGRESS & EXPO
Now in its 27th edition, ForumClub confirms its status as the leading conference in Italy for fitness/wellness club operators, sports centres and personal training studios that recognise the value of training in terms of strategy and motivation. The event acts as a magnet for the many owners and managers who are also interested in the great potential of water-based activities. Among the keynote speakers at Fo-
rumClub Congress & Expo 2026 is Al Noshirvani, co-founder of ALTA Technology Group, a management consulting firm focused on health, active lifestyles and outdoor activities, owner of the Method Gyms fitness centre chain, and founder of the Fitness Technology Summit. His session is dedicated to the positive impact that technology can have on the world of fitness and wellness in relation to the user
experience. Other speakers include psychologist Leonardo Milani, who was Mental Trainer for the Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team for 20 years; Emanuele Pianelli, CEO of Richfit and marketing and sales expert; Norma Rossetti, a visionary entrepreneur who revolutionised the Italian cultural landscape by founding MySecretCase, the largest community dedicated to sexual liberation; and Magdalena Szwed, deputy product director at Benefit Systems Fitness Unit, a Polish group that owns more than 400 fitness centres and the largest aggregation platform in Eastern Europe.

ITALIAN POOL AWARD 2025 –THE WINNERS
Every
year, the Italian Pool Award is a special opportunity to meet, share experiences, and discover new projects that reinterpret the pool as a place of well-being and beauty. From clean lines to natural finishes and harmonious integration with the landscape, this year's nominations demonstrate how Italian creativity continues to stand out for its balance, elegance, and capacity for innovation.
It is always a pleasure to meet up with old friends, but it is also nice to meet new ones. And what better occasion than the Italian Pool Award? The award dedicated to excellence in the Italian swimming pool industry gives us the opportunity every year to discover new projects, each with its own unique features and strengths. Now in its fourteenth edition, the Italian Pool Award 2025 received 37 entries, divided into residential outdoor, commercial outdoor and bio-pools.
Designers, architects, builders and owners shared information and beautiful images of their pools, showing how Italian style is increasingly oriented towards clean and elegant shapes, well integrated into the context, with light and natural colours. Wood and stone are increasingly popular, in both natural and reconstructed versions, and the pool edge takes on iridescent forms to accommodate discreet relaxation areas that do not steal the show from the real star, the pool itself. As always, the candidates for the Italian Pool Award were evaluated on the basis of a series of aesthetic and technical parameters by each member of the jury: through photographs, floor plans and sections and, of course, technical and descriptive information on every aspect of the pools, from the structure to the systems, from the accessories to all the solutions for the success of the project, the jurors evaluated each candidate anonymously and then selected the best pool in the competition for each category.

The Italian Pool Award ceremony – which, as always, takes place during ForumPiscine – this year opened with an exclusive award (not included in the competition) that Piscine Oggi dedicated to an Italian company that has exported Italian know-how worldwide: Myrtha Pools. The Innovation Award, recognized to Myrtha Pools for its significant achievements worldwide, was presented to Annalisa Colletto, manager, board member, and owner. Colletto answered questions from Federico A. Maestrami, director of Piscine Oggi and CEO of ForumPiscine. Filippo Piva, landscape architect and agronomist, AIAPP member, and Giuseppe Baldi, president of AIAPP Triveneto-Emilia Romagna Section, then presented the AIAPP Special Recognition to the project that distinguished itself for its ability to create dialogue, harmony, and connection between water and the surrounding landscape. The spotlight then turned to the winning pools of the 2025 edition of the Italian Pool Award, selected by the jury: as previously mentioned, the 37 pools were carefully analysed by each member of the jury, who evaluated each candidate based on technical and aesthetic parameters. They received the famous bronze statuettes in the shape of a ladder, whose shapes – born from the pen of the designer Osvaldo Casanova – are forged every year by the ancient Fonderia Merighi Arte of Bologna. Finally, it was time for the Facebook Special Award: the images of the competing projects, uploaded to the Piscine Oggi page, were viewed nearly 46,000 times, reaching more than 17,000 users. Overall, the photos received over 4,900 likes and were shared just over 350 times.

GREEN SWIMMING POOLS: WHERE TECHNOLOGY AND SUSTAINABILITY MEET
In the world of swimming pools, sustainability is the watchword today. The way these spaces are designed and experienced is evolving rapidly: no longer just places for relaxation and well-being, but true domestic ecosystems designed to respect the environment, reduce consumption and ensure comfort in every season. At the forefront of this evolution is C.P.A., an Italian compa-
ny specialising in the production of components and systems for swimming pools, committed to finding efficient, safe and environmentally friendly technological solutions. Behind every C.P.A. product is a journey of innovation, passion and attention to detail, with a clear goal: to combine aesthetics, functionality and respect for nature
ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND INTELLIGENT WATER MANAGEMENT
New-generation swimming pools are not only more beautiful, but also smarter. Covers such as our automatic Safety Cover play a key role in this change: they limit evaporation, reduce heat loss, protect the water from external agents and ensure safety for the whole family. An extremely effective solution that saves water and energy while ensuring safety and an elegant, discreet aesthetic. Added to this are Indiana Evo heat pumps with inverter technology, which automatically adapt their power to the actual needs of the
pool. The result? Energy savings of up to 85% compared to traditional systems and more sustainable management, without compromising on comfort. Water treatment with Uniko is also becoming increasingly environmentally friendly thanks to the automatic dosing system that reduces the use of chemicals and simplifies maintenance. The water remains clear, healthy and balanced, with a lower environmental impact and greater durability. ↓

ARTEMISIA: THE POOL THAT ADAPTS TO NEW LIFESTYLES
In line with this green philosophy, C.P.A. has designed Artemisia, a self-supporting swimming pool that represents a real revolution for those who want a ready-touse, non-permanent solution. Its modular galvanised steel structure combines the strength of metal with the lightness of a modular system that is easy to assemble and completely free of floor fixings. The advantage? No invasive work, no building restrictions and the possibility of installing it anywhere: in the garden, on a terrace or indoors. The water, kept crystal clear at all times thanks to the recirculation and filtration system, becomes the central element of a refined environment, where comfort and design
come together. Artemisia is available in its basic version or can be customised with tailor-made cladding to suit any architectural context, from contemporary minimalist to more natural and elegant. ↓
WELL-BEING THAT RESPECTS THE ENVIRONMENT
Choosing a swimming pool today means choosing a more conscious way of life. The solutions developed by C.P.A. demonstrate that sustainability and pleasure are not in conflict, but can coexist harmoniously. Advanced covers, energy-saving technologies, automatic treatment systems and self-supporting structures such as Artemisia are redefining the very concept of the swimming pool: from a simple leisure space to a place of intelligent and environmentally friendly wellbeing. ↓

POOL STRUCTURE & COATING
SICIS has created Vetrite, a covering material composed of glass sheets with a special formula of polymers and metals inside. The sheets can be curved according to the needs of the project, double-sided or not, and backlit for a strong visual impact. Thanks to the quality of the decorative films enclosed between the two layers of glass, Vetrite retains its vivid and brilliant colours even after prolonged exposure to water and UV rays.
C.P.A. manufactures pre-formed isothermal formworks used as a fast and easy casting system for concrete pools. The EPS panels are reinforced with iron and anchored to the foundation, filled in by casting concrete in the mold which will incorporate the formwork that will become integral part of the structure. After that, the coating – any one is fine – and the hydraulic system can be placed. Moreover, EPS has isothermal properties that help maintaining temperature and reduce heat dissipation in the surrounding ground. Among its flagship products is the W. DENSITY. K80 double-density formwork, which has a very high-density inner face that gives it high mechanical resistance against accidental impacts on site. Lightweight, sturdy and insulating, it is perfect for the construction of in-ground or above-ground swimming pools, allowing for simple, quick and economical assembly of the pool structure up to a depth of 2 metres.
CAROBBIO has been creating pool edges, furnishings and paving for 45 years. Among these, Rock Pool Technology is a new and innovative system of modular self-supporting panels. The product is suitable for any type of coating and allows the construction of the pool according to the aesthetic vein of the designer and the client. Individual elements to build your swimming pool with a personalized design include straight and radius profiles realised with last generation materials – certified, earthquake resistant, and characterised by self-supporting technology for a solid and custom designed swimming pool.
PISCINE SOLARIS has developed an exclusive, patented production system that allows us to make in-ground pools of all shapes and sizes with overflow skimmer (with the exclusive “Skimmer-up”, the water level is only 5 cm from the edge) or with overflow edge (with the exclusive patented “Sfioro-top” system, the overflow channel perfectly follows the shape of the in-ground pool and the overflow level can be adjusted by up to 1 cm even when the pool is completed) for both private and public use.
MYRTHA POOLS technology begins with stainless steel: the chromium-rich alloy offers both the strength and resistance to chemicals and corrosion needed in a pool environment. To ensure a long life, structural elements like clamps, guides, panels and ducts are securely bolted together – not welded, as steel welding can leave the framework susceptible to corrosion. Offering durability and highly effective waterproofing, Myrtha stainless-steel panels are hot-rolled with a PVC laminate. All joints, floor area and spaces between wall panels are sealed to create a tight, leak-proof tank.
PISCINE MILITE has been operating in the swimming pool sector for over half a century, fueled by a strong passion for smart solutions. This has allowed the company to create Milite Formwork, an innovative modular formwork system that allows the creation of high quality swimming pools, of any shape, in record time and at very advantageous costs. For swimming pool builders, it represents a reliable, economical, quick and easy to install solution, both for private and public use swimming pools.
DFM ITALIA has launched the VeryPool brand swimming pools, featuring special modular panels that comply with the ‘NTC 2018’ anti-seismic regulations and are made of an extraordinary flat carbon steel immersed in a bath containing a special metallic composition of zinc, aluminium and magnesium, commonly known as Magnelis®. VeryPool modular panels allow the construction of both skimmer and infinity edge pools, in-ground and above-ground, self-supporting and certified with accompanying structural calculations. The range of modules available, combined with Universal panels with pre-drilled holes for lights, skimmers, vents and pre-shaped corners, ensure quick installation of the pool with reduced construction time.
POLYFASER is a family business specialized in the production of monobloc fiberglass pools of the highest quality and refined aesthetics. Thanks to the collaboration with historical suppliers of raw materials, the company works on the continuous development of materials and production techniques, combining accurate internal and external controls that allow it to offer really high quality. The skills gained in over 50 years of work in the field allow Polyfaser to customise each tub, creating basins that are able to adapt both to the gardens of prestigious hotels and to more intimate residential contexts.
PREFORMATI ITALIA created Klimapool Floating, a patented product designed and manufactured to furnish terraces and spaces with a view by combining the beauty of nature and the design of a water parterre. It is a self-supporting, floating structure that is totally free of anchors and requires only a flat base that serves as a support for the pool. The interior furnishings of the pool include relax areas with air, air-water massage, loungers, and custom-made seating. It ensures maximum energy efficiency due to its excellent thermal insulation qualities. The lightness of Klimapool is combined with maximum mechanical strength given by the perfectly integrated steel frame. The ultimate finish allows maximum enhancement of the pool design and Klimapool allows the application of any possible coating (mosaic, tile, resin, Liner, marble etc.).
SOGIMI created Stratocell® Whisper®, a range of closed-cell semi-rigid foamed polyethylene plates with high sound-absorbing properties.
