eja bem-vindo ao WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal, que se disputa nas regiões do Norte e Centro do País, entre 19 e 22 de maio.

Portugal de Ralis, para a Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica, com o Peugeot 208 Rally 4 e o Troféu Toyota Gazoo Racing Iberian Cup, com o Toyota GR Yaris.

Na sequência do sucesso de anos anteriores, a 55ª edição do WRC Rally de Portugal será o evento desportivo e turístico que mais contribuirá para o posicionamento do País enquanto destino turístico e para a coesão do território.

Uma palavra de agradecimento para o indispensável apoio dos patrocinadores – Turismo de Portugal, Turismo do Porto e Norte, Turismo do Centro, bem como a Vodafone, BP, Hertz e KontraProduções – e um agradecimento também muito especial às várias entidades que velam pela segurança da prova, sem as quais não seria possível realizá-la: Guarda Nacional Republicana, Polícia de Segurança Pública, Proteção Civil e INEM.

Com a base operacional na Exponor, em Matosinhos, o Automóvel Club de Portugal volta a escolher Coimbra como local de início da prova, com a tradicional cerimónia de partida e agora também com a primeira Super Especial do Rally.

A imagem de Portugal no exterior é comprovadamente um dos vetores de excelência do impacto do WRC Rally de Portugal. Enquanto promotor do destino turístico, o valor mediático gerado pela edição de 2021 da prova ultrapassou os 69,7 milhões de euros de AEV (Advertising Equivalent Value). Esta valorização resulta da exposição internacional através da TV, Print, WebTV, online e social media da imagem do evento e das regiões Norte e Centro nos vários canais internacionais, com destaque para a exposição televisiva para mais de 150 países, nomeadamente França, Finlândia, Bélgica, Espanha, Japão, Polónia, Suécia, Alemanha, República Checa e Bulgária.

A par da cobertura integral da prova, a cargo do Promotor do WRC, a edição 2022 do Vodafone Rally de Portugal tem já asseguradas sete transmissões televisivas internacionais em direto durante os três dias de competição.

O WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal pontua em termos internacionais para o Campeonato do Mundo de Ralis com os carros Rally1, para o campeonato WRC2 com os carros Rally2 e ainda para o regressado FIA Junior WRC em Rally4. Conta também para o Campeonato de

O Comité Olímpico Internacional elegeu o Vodafone Rally de Portugal de 2019 como o primeiro caso de sucesso do Desporto Motorizado para a sustentabilidade ambiental.

Através do seu programa de acreditação ambiental, a FIA tem como objetivo reduzir o impacto ambiental das provas do mundial de ralis, assim mais uma vez, o Automóvel Club de Portugal elegeu a política ambiental de preservação do ambiente no Rali como uma das suas principais prioridades.

Por último, um tema fundamental para o sucesso da nossa prova: a segurança. O enorme entusiasmo que a rodeia deve ser uma imagem de marca do desporto e do turismo.

elcome to the 55th Vodafone Rally de Portugal, which will take place from May 19th to 22nd, in the northern and central regions of the country.

Following the success of previous years, the WRC Rally de Portugal’s 55th edition will be the sports and touristic event which will contribute the most to the positioning of the country as tourist destination and to the territory’s cohesion.

With headquarters at Exponor, in Matosinhos, the Automóvel Club of Portugal choose, once again, Coimbra as the starting point of the Rally, with the traditional Ceremonial Start and now with the first Special Stage of the Rally.

The image of Portugal abroad is clearly one of the strongest impacts generated by the WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal.

The promotion of the country as a tourist destination during the edition of 2021, generated a revenue in excess of 69.7 million euros of AEV - (Advertising Equivalent Value).

This value is the result of the event international exposure in the northern and central regions of Portugal through TV, Print, Web-TV, online and social media image of the event to more than 150 countries, namely France, Finland, Belgium, Spain, Japan, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

A word of appreciation for the essential support of the sponsors – Portugal Tourism, North and Porto Tourism and Centre Tourism boards, as well as Vodafone, BP, Hertz and KontraProduções - and a very special thank you to the entities working for the safety of the event, without whom it wouldn’t be possible to carry out the Rally: GNR, Police, Civil Protection and INEM. The International Olympic Committee has considered the 2019 edition of Vodafone Rally de Portugal as the first successful motorsports event for environmental sustainability. Through its environmental accreditation program, FIA aims to reduce the WRCs events environmental impact. Automóvel Club de Portugal has, once again, elected the environmental policy to be one of its main priorities.

Last but not least, a very relevant theme for the success of the Rally de Portugal: safety of the event, and, as important safety of spectators. The enormous enthusiasm that surrounds Rally de Portugal must be a hallmark of national sport and tourism.

Along with the full media coverage of the event, thru the WRC Promoter, the 2022 Vodafone Rally de Portugal has already assured seven international live TV broadcasts during the three days of competition.

The Vodafone Rally de Portugal is eligible for the World Rally Championship with Rally1 cars, the WRC 2 with Rally2, and for the returned Junior WRC with Rally3. The event is also included in the Portugal Rally Championship calendar and the 2022 Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica, with the Peugeot 208 Rally 4, and for the Toyota Gazoo Racing Iberian Cup, with the Toyota GR Yaris.

Norte do país acolhe novamente o WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal para mais três dias de muitas emoções pelas suas estradas e especiais em cidades e vilas da região.

Com o centro de operações montado na Exponor em Matosinhos, esta prova master do automobilismo mundial, chega ao Porto e Norte dia 20 de maio para uma Super-Especial em Lousada, concelho já habituado em anteriores edições ao som dos motores e ao movimento frenético do publico e das equipas do rally de Portugal.

A expetativa e a mobilização são gerais em toda a região.

Em Vieira do Minho, Cabeceiras de Basto e Amarante onde acontecem classificativas com duplas passagem no dia 21 e, no Porto, onde o dia termina com os pilotos a disputarem a Super-Especial, a afluência de visitantes nacionais e turistas estrangeiros, certamente ultrapassará os das últimas edições. A mesma euforia e moldura humana são esperadas no último dia da prova nas duplas passagens por Felgueiras, Mondim e Fafe, terminando neste concelho, em apoteose, numa classificativa com o estatuto de Power Stage.

Comprovadamente um dos maiores eventos nacionais e internacionais, o WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal proporcionou ao nosso país, um retorno financeiro de cerca de 140 milhões de euros nas últimas edições, milhares de visitantes e uma notabilidade ímpar em termos de imagem turística.

orto and North of Portugal will once again host the WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal, filling the region

with emotions and enthusiasm throughout its cities and villages.

With its operations center set up on Exponor in Matosinhos, this world racing event makes its debut in Porto and North on May 20th for a Super-Special in Lousada, an already-used county to the perks of hearing the engines, the frantic audience and the teams present in this race.

The mobilization and expectation are already all over this region. In Vieira do Minho, Cabeceiras de Basto and Amarante, where there are classifiers with double-laps on May 21st and, in Porto, where the day ends with the pilots competing for the Super-Special, the amount of national and foreign visitors will for sure surpass the last editions. That same eagerness and audience is expected on the last with double-laps through Felgueiras, Mondim and Fafe, where it gloriously ends, in a race that is entitled as the Power Stage.

Surely one of the biggest national and international events, WRC Vodafone Rally Portugal as provided our country a financial return of approximately 140 million euros on the last editions, thousands of visitors and an indescribable notability in terms of tourism.

Since the best rally in the world returned to the roads of this region, in 2019, it has established itself as the emblematic starting point of the race, bringing thousands of fans to Coimbra, as well as to Lousã, Góis, Arganil and Mortágua.

VODAFONE RALLY DE PORTUGAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

No âmbito do Quadro de Certificação Ambiental FIA, o Automóvel Club de Portugal, enquanto organizador do Vodafone Rally de Portugal, continuará a trabalhar no sentido de manter o nível de acreditação de sustentabilidade de 3 estrelas – FIA Sustainability Accreditation FIA- 3 stars. É objetivo da organização continuar a fomentar práticas para minimizar o impacto ambiental do evento, prosse-guindo e alargando a implementação de medidas em conformidade com o programa de sustentabilidade da FIA. Sendo uma das provas do WRC com mais espectadores, o Vodafone Rally de Portugal procura constituir um exemplo em termos de política ambiental quer a nível nacional quer em termos internacionais. Neste contexto, a organização dará continuidade às parcerias com o Ministério do Ambiente, através da Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente, visando reduzir a eventual alteração de condições do meio ambiente causada pela prova.

Assim, o Vodafone Rally de Portugal irá, de forma consciente, enveredar todos

Incentivar a partilha de meios de transporte privados (car pooling e car sharing) na deslocação ao evento, bem como a utilização de transportes públicos ou outros;

f)

Preferir, sempre que possível, fontes de energia renováveis;

g)

Continuar a implementar medidas e estabelecer parcerias para aumentar e melhorar a recolha seletiva de resíduos, bem como a eliminação correta e adequada dos mesmos;

h)

Fomentar e melhorar as nossas responsabilidades ambientais com base em tarefas estruturadas e planeadas;

i)

Envolver todas as autoridades locais das zonas de passagem do rali;

j)

Continuar a reduzir ao máximo o número de documentos impressos em papel, privilegiando a utilização e consulta de documentos em formatos digitais;

k)

Fomentar a redução do uso de plástico e de produtos descartáveis, dando preferência a produtos recicláveis e reutilizáveis;

l)

Fomentar o uso de água da rede pública, que em Portugal é de

a) Comply with all environmental laws and regulations, as well as the FIA Environmental Certification Framework. b) Promote and disseminate environmental awareness among the various agents (organization, drivers, teams, partners, sponsors, and spectators). c) Consider environmental work when selecting partners and suppliers and choose products and services that are environmentally friendly. e) Encourage the use of private means of transport (carpooling and car sharing) as well as public or other means of transport when traveling to the event. f) Use renewable energy sources whenever possible. g) Continue to implement measures and form partnerships to increase and improve selective waste collection, as well as proper and adequate waste disposal. h) Using structured and planned tasks, we will promote and improve our environmental responsibilities. i) Involve all local governments in rally crossing areas. j) Continue to reduce the number of documents printed on paper whenever possible, prioritizing the use and consultation of digital documents. k) Encourage the reduction of the use of plastic and disposable products in favour of recyclable and reusable alternatives. l) Encourage the use of tap water, which is of high quality in Portugal.

UMA NOVA ERA COMEÇOU...

m ano de celebração do cinquentenário do WRC, o Mundial de Ralis renova-se com a introdução dos híbridos. É o novo ponto de partida para todas as equipas.

2022 fica para a história do Campeonato do Mundo de Ralis como o ano em que começa uma nova era e o Vodafone Rally de Portugal faz parte deste momento de viragem nos ralis.

Os principais pilotos, os carros mais competitivos e as formações oficiais chegam a Portugal com modelos totalmente novos. É quase uma revolução, face aos carros que correram no campeonato até ao fim de 2021.

Os novos Rally1, antigamente conhecido como WRC, apresentam, agora, uma motorização híbrida. Ao bloco 1.6 litros/turbo, capaz de debitar cerca de 380 cavalos de potência, junta-se uma unidade motriz híbrida com 100 Kw de potência, qualquer coisa como 134 cavalos, e 180 Nm de binário. Ou seja, quando utilizados em conjunto, os motores dos novos Rally1 atingem potências mais próximas dos icónicos “Grupo B”, que marcaram a modalidade nos anos 80 do século passado. Tecnicamente, esta é a principal alteração. Os Rally1 continuam a ter tração total e a caixa de velocidades com cinco relações é sequencial.

Destaque, também, para o chassis que tem, agora, uma nova célula de segurança bem mais resistente e capaz de proteger piloto e copiloto.

Com a alteração técnica nos motores, há mudanças a ter em conta. Os carros devem circular, em determinadas zonas, apenas em modo elétrico. A autonomia dos Rally1 ronda, neste modo, os 20 km. Nos troços, os

pilotos podem escolher três modos de assistência elétrica pré-definidos, embora o desempenho das unidades varie consoante o perfil das especiais. Uma assistência em forma de boost de potência que entra em funcionamento de forma automática ao longo do troço e que termina sempre que o piloto desacelera ou trava, se atinge a carga mínima da bateria, se consumiu a energia máxima definida para o troço, se atingiu o número máximo de regenerações, ou a bateria está na temperatura máxima. A unidade motriz elétrica carrega sempre que os pilotos não aceleram ou quando travam. Além disso, a bateria pode ser carregada no parque de assistência.

Três formações oficiais – Ford, Hyundai e Toyota – desenvolveram Rally1 e competem no Vodafone Rally de Portugal. A ronda lusa do Mundial vai ser palco de um grande rali. O campeão do Mundo em título, Sébastien Ogier, deixou de fazer todas as provas do calendário, mas disse presente ao evento organizado pelo Automóvel Club de Portugal. O francês vai liderar a armada Toyota, composta, também, por Elfyn Evans, pelo líder do Campeonato Kalle Rovanpera e Takamoto Katsuta. Outro Sébastien, mas de apelido Loeb, também regressa a Portugal. O mais titulado de todos os pilotos apresenta-se com o Ford Puma, o mesmo modelo com que venceu em Monte Carlo.

A formação inglesa da M-Sport, faz-se representar em grande nesta ronda. Além de Loeb, inscreve quatro pilotos: Craig Breen, Adrien Fourmaux, Gus Greensmith e Pierre-Louis Loubet. Por fim, a Hyundai também traz um antigo campeão do mundo ao Vodafone Rally de Portugal. Ott Tanak vai correr com o Hyundai i20, à semelhança de Thierry Neuville e de Dani Sordo.

n a year of celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the WRC, the World Rally Championship renews itself with the introduction of hybrid cars. It’s back to the starting point for all teams.

2022 goes down in the history of the World Rally Championship as the year in which a new era begins and the Vodafone Rally de Portugal is part of this turning point in rallying.

The main drivers, the most competitive cars and the manufacturers arrive in Portugal with brand new models.

It’s almost a revolution in comparison with the cars that raced in the championship until the end of 2021.

The new Rally1, formerly known as WRC, now features a hybrid engine. The 1.6-liter/turbo engine, capable of about 380 horsepower, is now fitted with a hybrid unit with 100 Kw of power, something like 134 horsepower, and 180 Nm of torque. When used together, the engines of the new Rally1 reach a power output close to the iconic “Group B”, which marked the sport in the 80s of the last century. Technically, this is the main change.

Rally1 continues to have full traction and the five-way gearbox is sequential. The chassis has now a new safety cell much more resistant and able to protect driver and codriver.

With the technical change in the engines, there are things to be taken into consideration. Cars must circulate in certain areas only in electric mode. The range of the Rally1 is 20 km in this mode. On the stages, drivers can choose three pre-defined electrical assistance

modes, although the performance of the units varies depending on the profile of the special stages. A power boost that engages automatically during the stage and ends whenever the driver slows down or brakes, the minimum battery charge is reached, the maximum power set for the stage has been consumed, the maximum number of regenerations has reached, or the battery is at maximum temperature. The electric drive always charges whenever drivers are not accelerating or when braking. In addition, the battery can be charged in the service park.

Three manufacturers – Ford, Hyundai and Toyota – have developed Rally1 cars and compete in the Vodafone Rally de Portugal. The Portuguese round of the WRC will host a huge rally. The World Champion, Sébastien Ogier, is not taking part in all the rounds of the season but will be present at the Automóvel Club de Portugal’s event. The Frenchman will lead the Toyota armada, also composed of Elfyn Evans, the Championship leader Kalle Rovanpera and Takamoto Katsuta. Another Sébastien, and we are referring to Sébastien Loeb, also returns to Portugal. The most titled of all drivers will be competing with the Ford Puma, the same car with which he won in Monte Carlo. The English team M-Sport, has the largest entry list of the three. In addition to Loeb, there are four drivers: Craig Breen, Adrien Fourmaux, Gus Greensmith and Pierre-Louis Loubet. Finally, Hyundai also brings a former World Champion to the Vodafone Rally de Portugal. Ott Tanak will race the Hyundai i20, like Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo.

lterações não se ficaram pela categoria principal do Mundial. As categorias de suporte também contam com novidades.

As divisões inferiores do World Rally Championship também sofreram alterações para 2022 e o Vodafone Rally de Portugal, como prova que pontua para todos os campeonatos do WRC, vai ter concorrentes em todas as categorias.

Neste ano, a totalidade das provas do calendário passou a ser elegível para pilotos, copilotos e equipas pontuarem. Contudo, estes têm de escolher as rondas em que querem pontuar e, além disso, podem sempre descartar o pior resultado.

Ainda na vertente desportiva, mantém-se as duas divisões inferiores ao WRC (WRC2 e WRC3), enquanto

os Juniores ganham novo formato. No WRC2, os carros que podem competir são os Rally2. Na prática, são os antigos R5, ou seja, carros com motor 1.6 litros/turbo e tração integral, capazes de debitar quase 300 cavalos de potência. Nesta categoria, haverá títulos para pilotos com menos de 30 anos – Juniores – e mais de 50 anos – Masters. No WRC3, os pilotos podem competir com carros de tração total que respeitem os regulamentos Rally3, seja lá qual for a marca e o modelo que escolham.

Mas, se quiserem lutar pelo título Júnior, não podem ter mais de 29 anos e só podem competir ao volante do Ford Fiesta Rally3. Esta competição em particular realiza-se, apenas, em eventos europeus e o Vodafone Rally de Portugal é a terceira das cinco provas do ano.

Support categories also feature novelties, with the Junior WRC now divided between WRC2 and WRC3 and the brand new Masters with the Rally2.

The lower divisions of the World Rally Championship have also undergone changes for 2022 and the Vodafone Rally de Portugal is eligible for all WRC championships, which means that there will entrants in all classes.

This year, all the rounds on the calendar are eligible for drivers, co-drivers and teams to score points. However, they have to choose the rounds in which they want to score and, in addition, they can always rule out the worst result.

WHAT’S NEW IN WRC2 & WRC3

Sports wise, the WRC maintains its two lower divisions (WRC2 and WRC3), while the Junior WRC has now a new format. In the WRC2, the cars that can compete are the Rally2. Putting it simple: the old R5, cars with 1.6 liter/turbo engine and all-wheel drive, capable of almost 300 horsepower. In this class, there will be titles for drivers under 30 – Juniors – and for over 50 years - Masters. In the WRC3, drivers can compete with allwheel drive cars that comply with Rally3 regulations, whatever make and model they choose. However, those wanting to compete for the Junior title can’t be over 29 and may only compete at the wheel of the Ford Fiesta Rally3. This particular competition takes place only in European events and the Vodafone Rally de Portugal is the third of the five events of the year.

finlandês de 22 anos tem voado desde o início da época e chega a Portugal como o homem a bater, mas, tal como no Monte, vai voltar a ter pela frente dois “professores”.

O piloto finlandês da Toyota chega ao Vodafone Rally de Portugal como líder do Campeonato do Mundo. Kalle Rovanperä entra para a quarta prova da temporada com uma vantagem sólida para a concorrência e procura minimizar as perdas por ser o primeiro na estrada no arranque da competição.

Rovanperä não só tem sido consistente como tem sido vencedor. Ganhou na Suécia e na Croácia e foi o mais rápido nas Power Stage croata e de Monte Carlo. Tamanha regularidade permite-lhe ser líder em Portugal com 29 pontos de vantagem sobre o segundo classificado, Thierry Neuville, que corre em Hyundai.

Uma margem significativa que faz com que apenas um sério contratempo por parte do jovem finlandês e um grande resultado por parte do belga resulte num novo líder após a ronda nacional.

Contudo, a hegemonia imposta por Rovanperä não se estende à luta entre os construtores, já que os três conquistaram pódios desde o início do ano, se bem que a Ford só o conseguiu na ronda de abertura. Ainda

assim, todas elas estão representadas no Top 3 da tabela pontual mais acompanhada ao longo do ano. Craig Breen dá o terceiro posto à Ford, com 30 pontos. Seguese logo Sébastien Loeb (Ford) que, depois de ter ganho em Monte Carlo, regressa à competição em Portugal.

Também de regresso está Sébastien Ogier (Toyota).

O campeão em título não está a fazer a temporada completa, mas garantiu a presença na ronda lusa, o que vai permitir ao público assistir à sempre muito desejada luta entre os dois gigantes dos ralis que, entre si, totalizam qualquer coisa como 17 títulos no que foi um domínio gaulês quase ininterrupto da modalidade desde 2004. No primeiro embate, no Monte Carlo, a vantagem foi para Loeb, agora resta esperar para ver quem leva a melhor, sendo que Ogier tem como motivação extra o facto de, vencendo, se tornar no recordista de triunfos em Portugal, superando a marca de cinco triunfos que Markku Alén estabeleceu em 1987.

Destaque, também, para Ött Tanak, precisamente o único que nos últimos 17 anos conseguiu impor-se ao “estilo” francês nos ralis ao conquistar o Campeonato em 2019. O estónio já ganhou em Portugal e, depois de um arranque em falso em 2022, tem melhorado as suas prestações e apresenta-se como um candidato ao triunfo.

The reigning champion is not taking part in the full season, but has secured a presence in the Portuguese round, which will allow spectators to watch the always desired fight between the two rally giants who, among themselves, total something like 17 titles in what has been an almost uninterrupted French dominance of the sport since 2004. In the first clash, in Monte Carlo, the advantage went to Loeb, and now it remains to be expected to see who gets the better, and Ogier has an extra motivation: winning will make him the record holder of victories in Portugal, surpassing the mark of five triumphs that Markku Alén established in 1987.

A name that must also be taken into consideration is Ött Tanak, precisely the only one who, in the last 17 years, has managed to impose himself over the French “style” in the rallies, having won the Championship in 2019.

Procura, no Vodafone Rally de Portugal, dilatar a vantagem que tem sobre o italiano Brazzoli, segundo no campeonato, que não compete na ronda organizada pelo Automóvel Club de Portugal. FINNISH POWER IN THE WRC3 AND AMONG THE JUNIORS

ll up for grabs in the lowest WRC support category, with several drivers able to leave Portugal as leaders. Among the Juniors is expected the tiebreaker at the top of the table.

The WRC3 championship is, so far, and if we only take into account the general standings, the most competitive of all three WRC classes in the 2022 season. Sami Pajari is the leader of this competition. He totals 37 points, owing mostly to the victory in Monte Carlo. In the Vodafone Rally de Portugal he will be looking to stretch the advantage over the Italian Brazzoli, second in the championship, who does not compete in the Automóvel

Club de Portugal round. In this category, in which all drivers race at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta, Irishman William Creighton is looking to move up to second place. At the moment, he is third but he has only three points less than his Italian rival.

If in the WRC3 the leader is a Finn, in the JWRC the leadership is also held by a Scandinavian. Lauri Joona arrives in Portugal as the leader of the championship, but he has the same points (47) as Jon Armstrong. Both compete in Portugal, and a great duel is anticipated between these drivers. Robert Virves of Estonia will seek to get in this confrontation to shorten the disadvantage he has in relation to both, which is 18 points right now.

onda lusa do Campeonato de Mundo de Ralis promete luta interessante para os pilotos do Campeonato de Portugal de Ralis com cinco pilotos de olhos postos no triunfo.

A prova maior dos ralis em Portugal volta a pontuar para o campeonato nacional da especialidade. Com um formato mais curto, pois apenas a primeira etapa da ronda mundial conta para a competição interna, o maior interesse recai no duelo entre Armindo Araújo e Miguel Correia. O piloto de Santo Tirso está no comando do campeonato e é o mais bem-sucedido na prova organizada pelo Automóvel Club de Portugal.

ARAÚJO LEADS AND SKODA DOMINATES

he Portuguese round of the World Rally Championship promises interesting fight for the Portuguese Rally Championship drivers with five names eyeing the triumph.

The most renown Portuguese rally is, once again, eligible for the national Rally Championship. Shorter in format, as it is held only during the first leg of the WRC event, the greatest interest falls on the duel between Armindo Araújo and Miguel Correia. The Santo Tirso driver leads the championship and is the most successful in the Automóvel Club de Portugal’s rally. However, Miguel Correia, also at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia, arrives very

motivated after achieving his first absolute victory in his career on the previous round of the championship.

Correia is, therefore, the runner-up. He is followed by Bruno Magalhães. The Hyundai driver has three third places and is looking for his first win of the season. The same goes for his teammate and defending champion, Ricardo Teodósio. The Algarve driver has not shown last year’s consistency and arrives at Vodafone Rally de Portugal in ninth place. José Pedro Fontes, who is fourth in the championship, will fight for the top spots with his Citroën C3. The same is true to Pedro Almeida, who wants to improve the fifth position he currently occupies.
