Christina Dias was born in 1966 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She holds a degree in Portuguese by the UFRGS and another in Psychopedagogy

by ULBRA Canoas. She has published 24 books. She received in 2006 the “O Sul, Nacional e os Livros” Award and the “Açorianos de Literatura” Award, in the children’s literature category; in 2008 she received the Book of the Year Ages Award, children’s literature category; in 2011 she received again the Book of the Year Ages Award, young adults’ category, along with Airton Ortiz, Luiz Paulo Faccioli, Carlos Urbim, Nazareth Ara and Sergio Napp, members of the literary art group Osseis de Poa. She was nominated for the Jabuti Award, children’s literature category, in 2012.

HE HAS BRIGHT EYES, POINTY EARS AND HUGE NAILS. HE HAS SHARP TEETH AND A COLD MUZZLE. HE JUMPS AND RUNS VERY FAST. HIS VOICE SOUNDS LIKE THUNDER.

HE HAS A ROUGH TONGUE AND WARTS ON THE BELLY. HE MAKES MYSTERIOUS NOISES AND HIDES VERY WELL. HE CLIMBS WALLS AND TREES, TOO. HE GOBBLES SEA BEINGS, BUT DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO SWIM.
