Yung Leo is in three movements, each built on a strong individual character, however, the goal is to create a compelling overall picture for the piece, mainly in the form of a steady and ever going overlapping through texture, instrumental techniques, and dynamics.

Yung Leo is built on young love, Prokofiev’s and Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, young Leonardo DiCaprio, lions, the zodiac sign Leo, thugs, Yung Lean, milestones and more.

Electronics The electronics are in the form of playback and live electronics created with effects for the tenor saxophone (run from Ableton Live/Max for Live). The sound is projected through two speakers placed on the floor, close to the ensemble.
