Thomas Agerfeldt Olesen

for large chamber orchestra

Dur. 11′

PERFORMANCE NOTES

None of the amplification features should produce any kind of artificially sounding amplification, but rather lift the level of string sound gently in favour of balance. The pick-up amplification of the double basses should likewise just lift the level of the bass register in the ensemble, the pick-up microphones ensuring the best quality of sound. The loudspeakers should project the sound in a direction from the stage to the audience.

Strings are to perform the whole piece senza vibrato
