for sinfonietta and jazz sextet Dur. 60′
TECHNICAL SETUP All instruments and the orchestra must be slightly amplified in order to mix with the sextet. Keyboards, guitar and bass must play with local amplifiers and be slightly amplified over the PA system. The singer must have two microphones on stands, one connected to clean sound and one connected to heavily compressed and distorted sound. The bass drum must be placed in such a way that (percussion) player II can use it. The two snare drums in the beginning must be placed as far from each other as possible. Preferably each side of the orchestra. The two atmosphere sounds refered to in the score are soundscapes without tonality. For further description on sounds and samples, please refer to the specific parts.
TEXT WHITE (Section 1) it might have looked like a drop of water a surface not breaking but melting into another surface not breaking but who cares about a drop of water when my skin is ripped open my blood is in my eyes I seem to remember a shape maybe I once was a teardrop? and maybe I was not alone?

all of this while your hands are pushing forward the minutes and seconds dripping from the sky leaves on the ground covering my body snakes of stones in spirit snakes of soft wood in real a decoration a walking fire this is not light this is not warmth this is not me singing my air is feeding the flames are eating the last chance of going nowhere I have sensed it since the buildings started yelling all the questions and the windows forgot if they were letting something in or something out all I breathe all I see is me not singing
