NOTE

Echoes of Fire is a condensation of the music for the chamber opera Fire with a libretto by the Danish writer Sanne Bjerg. Not only does the title refer to the opera, the gloomy music also clearly reflects the opera’s setting and plot. The story takes place in a burning city, where passions flare up with fatal consequences.
