Voice (Mezzo) Soprano (or other female voice type that can sing with natural transparency between F3 and F5).
Bass Clarinet in Bb (doubling Clarinet in Bb)

Percussion
Glockenspiel, 4 bongos, frame drum, newspaper, cowbell
The cowbell should sound as harmonious as possible, and preferably suit the pitches played by contrabass behind the bridge.
