Piano:  

  Damping  the  indicated  pitch  by  one  hand,  and  play  on  the  keyboard  with  another   hand.         Mezzo  Sopranos:     1.)  Whispering:  the  indicated  rhythm  of  the  words  has  to  be  precise.  The  words   should  be  whispered  short  and  almost  like  a  witch  is  doing  her  incantation.   (Microphone  is  on  while  whispering)     2.)  Triangle  notehead:    triangle  notehead  is  indicated  the  'exhalation  breathing   sound'.  The  text  in  brackets  is  indicating  the  shape  of  the  singers’  lips.  Which  means   -­‐  exhaling  with  shape  of  the  lips  as  the  word  'hu',  ‘a’,  and  etc.       3.)  Square  notehead:  square  notehead  is  indicating  the  'inhalation  breathing  sound'.   The  text  in  brackets  is  indicating  the  shape  of  the  singers’  lips.  Which  means  -­‐   exhaling  with  shape  of  the  lips  as  the  word  'hu',  ‘a’,  and  etc.     4.)  Normal  singing  with  words  in  brackets:  singers  are  actually  doubling  acoustic   instruments,  which  has  wawa  mute  on  and  so  on.  The  text  in  brackets  is  imitating   the  sound  of  the  trumpet  (for  example)  with  wawa  mute,  and  change  the  lips'  shape   gradually.       5.)  Main  idea  for  singing  Limbo:  Please  avoiding  operatic  way  of  singing.  The  whole   piece  is  expressing  the  inner  conflict  between  ONE  woman's  emotional  and  rational   sides.  Sing  it  in  a  plain,  clean  and  straightforward  way  of  expressing
