GENERAL COMMENTS This piece is written for glockenspiel, crotales, vibraphone, celesta, and electronics.

Electronic equipment needed

The electronic sounds are samples of bowed vibraphone and crotales pitches appearing in the beginning of the piece. These are recorded onto digital loop tracks and played back through a speaker set-up.

1 × computer with Max/MSP Microphones for amplification of crotales, glockenspiel, vibraphone, and celesta A stereo speaker set-up

In order to maintain synchronicity between the acoustic and electronic layers, each player must perform the piece with an in-ear click track.

Stage set-up

The score is written in transposition, i.e. glockenspiel and crotales sound two octaves higher than written, celesta sounds one octave higher than written, and vibraphone sounds at written pitch.

The piece was written for the ensemble NEKO3 and premiered at Sonic Festival in Copenhagen, September 2018.
