Bar 2: The accents being gradually weaker on the An and gradually stronger on the G# means that the An should slowly decrease into the -background during this measure, and the G# should increase in volume, so that the q beat gradually changes from falling on the An to falling on the G#.

Bar 4-5: The same principle: Every 3rd x-note increasing and every 4th x-note decreasing, resulting in a gradual change into the new tempo.
