Embrace Pastor Steve’s Rally Sunday Challenge What if 140 of us, roughly half of our membership, were to pray for two people who might nd being a part of our connecting, worshipping, learning, serving and giving community of faith a good thing. We would be praying for hundreds of people with whom we rub shoulders and have real life conversations.
A Message From Pastor Steve September 26, Geneva debuts a new look for Sundays G.K. Chesterton writes, “We do not want, as the newspapers say, a church that will move with the world. We want a church that will move the world.”1 As I re ect upon the past fty- ve years of Geneva’s history and embrace our next fty- ve, I see Geneva being a church that moves the world, a church of followers of Jesus who understand being disciples of Jesus Christ and are personally involved in making disciples.
