SOME OF OUR PROJECTS Client: Post and Telecom of Kosovo

PROJECT: SMS (Short Message Service) Platform Kosova Information Technology sha, jointlty with Ourboros, France, implemented a full-fledged SMS platform, including hardware and software, for Kosovo Telecom JCS. The SMS (Short Message Service) platform enables the exchange of messages for the entire customer base of Vala, the mobile operator of Kosovo Telecom, with either other Vala customers or any other national or international mobile operator. Vala is the biggest mobile operator in Kosova.

PROJECT: ISP (Internet Service Platform) Kosova Information Technology sha implemented a full-fledged ISP (Internet Service Provider) solution, including hardware and software, for Kosovo Telecom JCS. The ISP platform enables the access to Internet for the entire customer base of Vala, the mobile operator of Kosovo Telecom. Vala is the biggest mobile operator in Kosova. Hardware and software procurement, mounting, installation, virtualization, configuration and testing were performed by a team of 5 dedicated full-time experts.

PROJECT: Oracle E-Business Suite Kosova Information Technology sha, implemented the upgrade of Oracle E-Business Suite from 11i to R12 version, as well as installation, development and maintenance of financial modules for the Limak Kosovo International Airport. The Oracle E-Business Suite upgrade included the upgrade of Database System and Application Server.

PROJECT: Data Software Kosova Information Technology sha implemented a globally renowned solution for Data Loss Protection and Data Base Audit System for KOSTT J.S.C, the electricity Transmission, System and Market Operator in the Republic of Kosovo. Software procurement, installation, configuration and testing were performed by a team of 2 experts.

PROJECT: ICT/SCADA The project consisted of Supply, Installation and Configuration of storages for the Information Technology and Communication (ICT) system and the SCADA system for KOSTT J.S.C, the electricity Transmission, System and Market Operator in the Republic of Kosovo. The procurement phase was handled through global vendors of equipment/software, with whom Kosova Information Technology sha. has longstanding cooperation.

PROJECT: AFTN The project consisted of Supply, Installation and Commissioning of AFTN System for the Air Navigation Services Agency of the Republic of Kosovo. The Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunications Network (AFTN) is a worldwide system of aeronautical fixed circuits provided, as part of the Aeronautical Fixed Service, for the exchange of messages and/or digital data between aeronautical fixed stations having the same or compatible communications characteristics.

PROJECT: HELPDESK Kosova Information Technology sha implemented InvGate solution for Help Desk and Asset Management System for KPC, a globally recognized application for incident management. Help Desk System implemented the following functionalities: • Ticket Management (including e-mail to ticket) • Survey – Customizable • Remote Control • Customized reports • Permissions control on administrator level (including group permissions) • Self-service portal • Multilanguage Support • Single Sign-On – SSO (Integrated windows authentication)

Asset Management System implemented the following functionalities: • Real Asset Management – automatically detect assets in LAN (computer hardware characteristics, installed software and additional equipment. • Asset Inventory (Hardware/Software) – Automatically Detect Desktops, Laptops, and Servers • Hardware and Software Detection, including changes, Asset Service History • Suppliers Catalog, Hardware Catalog • Software License Management • Asset inventory reports • Asset Tracking

PROJECT: SEMDP Electronic Management System for Prosecutors Files SEMDP was developed for the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council using Microsoft .NET and SQL technology. The project was implemented in 6 phases: 1st Phase: Preparation of detailed technical specification for developing of software, involving a in-depth interviews and meetings with all the stakeholders for gathering of functional requirements for the software and understanding the business logic of KPC. Analysis of legal and regulatory requirements based on which the KPC operates. Functional analysis and detailed technical specification were approved by KPC as a prerequisite of moving to the next phase. 2nd Phase: Prototype design – designing of all user forms with appropriate fields, preliminary approval of the prototype by KPC. 3rd Phase: Development of the software solution as per agreed specification in phase 1, regular weekly monthly presentations to KPC for gathering of suggestions and comments and their incorporation in the solution. 4th Phase: First stable release, bug detection and bug fixing, presentation of software to KPC and final approval of the solution. 5th Phase: Test environment and production environment installation and end-user trainings. 6th Phase: Software implementation – Go Live – and maintenance for 2 years (ended Dec1019).

Authentication

Each user has a dedicated username and password Defined role and defined access based on the role.

Automatic backups

Backups are automated in database level. They can be defined, based on hardware resources for specific location and time backups.

Auditing

Auditable to row level with insertion, editing or deleting date. Every row is primarily saved in archive and then inserted or edited or deleted.

Snapshots

Usually created when some particular tests are necessary.

Rules

Simple and straightforward rules for example, invoices are not editable, but they can be storned. User needs to be a role member in order to storn it.

Every backup can be restored. Every backup is considered a back point in time.
