Firm History EDiS Company was founded as Ernest DiSabatino & Sons, Inc. in 1908 in Wilmington, Delaware as a masonry contracting company. Over the subsequent years the company grew to provide general construction services. In 1973, recognizing changing times, EDiS adopted the new form of project delivery known as Construction Management. Since then, EDiS has provided General Contracting, Construction Management-Agent, Construction Management-At-Risk, and Design-Build services to help clients plan, build, and operate their facilities.

EDiS SIGNATURE PROCESSES EDiS operates under the philosophy “An ounce of prevention is worth pounds of correction.” Our processes have been crafted and refined over the past 100+ years. Using our signature processes, we have identified and overcome many of the challenges encountered during the construction process. EDiS Pre-Install “Measure twice, cut once.” You would expect building contractors have this down and we agree, but we don’t take it for granted. Our specialized Pre-Install process, implemented before materials are installed, requires our trade contractors to identify and remedy potential errors and risks prior to installation so we save time and money.
