ATHLETIC PHYSICALS
July 31 @ 2:30 PM High School Gymnasium
1. You will need the UIL physical form available by clicking here.
2. Please complete all information on the medical history side of the form.
3. Please make sure the form is signed by a parent/guardian.
4. $15 cash or check. If paying by check, please make it payable to Edgewood High School
MEDIA DAY FOR FOOTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, CROSS COUNTRY, CHEER, AND BAND IS AUGUST 11!
Safety & Security:
Every visitor that visits campus throughout the 2025-2026 school year will be required to show a valid State-Issued photo ID to receive a Visitor’s Badge. The system no longer retains information to be “looked up” from prior visits. Please see the Visitor Policy below for any visits to campus. All advertised events will state whether or not a Visitor Badge is required and will be advertised in time to pick the badge up early.

Visitors are defined as: anyone other than an EISD staff member who wishes to enter a campus building during normal hours of operation during the school year.
Preparation is key. To ensure a secure environment, all visitors must schedule appointments through the campus office before arriving.
Visitor Check-In:
All visitors must first check in at the Administration Building with a state-issued ID. IDs are scanned through Raptor, our visitor management system. Approved visitors receive a photo ID badge, worn on the top left corner of their shirt. The campus will be notified of your visit before you're allowed entry. Upon arrival at the campus, staff will verify your identity and visitor badge.
Campus Entry Protocol:

Dropping Off Items:
Visitors will not need a badge to drop off items since they will not need to enter the the building. Ring the buzzer. Use the drop box for lunches, backpacks, or other items.
Dropping Off Students:
PK-5 students arriving after 7:55 AM must be walked to the door and buzzed in.
Grades 6-12 may buzz themselves in and report to the office.
Early Student Pick-Up:
If a student is needed before 2:50 PM Ring the buzzer, present ID, and wait at the door for staff to bring your child.
After 2:50 PM: Pick-up changes may not be possible due to time and staffing constraints.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up:
Drop-Off and Pick-Up at Edgewood ISD are congested due to the construction taking place across the district. Edgewood ISD has developed Drop-Off and Pick-Up videos for each campus. Please take time to watch the video(s) for the assigned campus(es) of each student.
Prior to the first day of school, EISD will advertise procedures for PK-5 parents to be able to walk students into the building on the first day of school. (Visitor badges will be required.)
Please exercise patience the first two weeks of school, the congestion will ease up once everyone adjusts to the procedures.
** Please never park in drop-off or pick-up zones.**
