Owning my own business has been such a treasure to me. I am so grateful to carry on the sewing tradition my mom started in 1995 as Sue’s Sewing Palace. I am honored to have such a fabulous group of customers that support me and an amazing sales team.

This new venture in developing the business started by investing in my own building. I saw this building in disrepair and dreamed of creating a sewing community at this new store. It is located in the heart of Helena and I envision a creative space where people from all walks of life come and create. A place where all kinds of quilters gather, novice to expert and everyone in between, can join for conversation, companionship, self expression, support, growth and healing in whatever measure they need.

They share their stories of sewing and how it is so therapeutic for their soul.

I look forward to my new location being creative therapy for your soul and welcome you to come join The Sewing Palace family.

The Sewing Palace is owned and operated by women who sew and have a passion for creating.

We have Swiss-made sewing machines, tools, fabrics and classes just for YOU. sewing machines are known around the globe for their reliability, ease of use and outstanding quality. Nothing sews like a ... Nothing!

CLASS POLICIES

GENERAL SEWING SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS

1. Registration can be made in person, by mail or telephone.

2. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of registration for class.

3. The deposit is refundable with a 14-day advance cancellation.

4. Phone reservations accepted with credit card payment only.

5. Each class has a minimum student requirement. The Sewing Palace reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class due to lack of enrollment. Every effort is made to fill the class, but if the class has to be cancelled we will notify you in advance and refund your money with a store credit.

6. We commit to our teachers and ask your commitment in return. Teachers spend a lot of time preparing for classes; therefore, class fees are not refundable if you do not attend a class that is not cancelled.

7. Classes begin at the scheduled times. Please feel free to come in 15 minutes early to set up your supplies so class can start on time.

8. Class supply lists should be picked up when you register.

Books and patterns that are required for class must be purchased to prevent copyright violations.

9. The Sewing Palace would like to thank you for taking classes with us. A 15% discount is given on class supplies when you sign up and pay your registration fee. This discount for the required supplies for class is awarded up to the day of class.

10. Several classroom machines are available on a first comefirst served basis. Let us know at the time of registration.

11. Cell phones are not permitted in any of our classes, clubs or lectures. Please be respectful of the teacher and other students by putting them on vibrate if you are expecting an urgent call. The store number may be left with your family for emergency calls at 443-5724.

12. Class registration fee allows one person to attend. Please no children or visitors in class.

13. Please remember no cell phones and we ask you not to wear perfume or scented lotions to class.

Consignment and Trade-in Machines

The Sewing Palace, on occasion, has a selection of consignment and tradein machines available for purchase. If you are looking for a new machine and think a used machine might fill the bill, come talk to one of our friendly sales staff and we will be happy to help you.
