MONTANA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE STAFF MEMBERS

TODD O’HAIR

On May 1st, 2019, Todd O’Hair officially took over as President and CEO of the Montana Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity, Todd represents almost 800 member companies – representing every size, industry, and region in the state.

A Montana native, Todd hails from Livingston where his family owns a multi-generational family ranch. Before being named President and CEO of the Montana Chamber, Todd was the senior manager of government affairs for Cloud Peak Energy. While at Cloud Peak, he served on the Montana Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and was the chair of the board in 2016-17. Before Cloud Peak Energy, Todd worked at the Montana Auto Dealers Association and worked in Governor Judy Martz’s office for four years. He also served as the natural resources policy advisor for Congressman Rick Hill.

PAYTON DOBBS

Payton Dobbs joined the Montana Chamber of Commerce team in August 2020 as the Member Relations Coordinator. Before starting her business selling insurance in 2018, Payton spent five years working in retail where her interest in business and entrepreneurship began. After a successful career in sales, Payton jumped at the chance to bring her enthusiasm, ideals, and experience in business to the Chamber.

As the Member Relations Coordinator, Payton is responsible for oversight of development, planning, and management of membership initiatives including the membership application process and the creation and implementation of long – and short-term strategies for new member recruitment and retention of current members.

STACYE DORRINGSTON

Prior to joining the Chamber in June 2013, Stacye had an impressive career working for the State of Montana. She worked for ten years for the Montana Department of Justice before joining the Montana Board of Crime Control where she served as the statewide coordinator for juvenile detention alternatives initiatives and oversaw victim services programs, specializing in domestic violence and sexual assault.

Stacye, a native of Helena, is very detail-oriented and excels in organization. Stacye manages the office and events.

DEE DURAND

Dee enjoyed a long career at the Montana Chamber of Commerce before retiring in 2010. Dee was invited back to the Chamber to work part-time in 2016 to assist with Envision 2026, the Chamber’s ten-year strategic plan. In addition to her work on Envision 2026, Dee provides membership outreach to ensure retention of existing members. Ms. Durand also provides overall support to all staff as needed.

BRIDGER MAHLUM

Bridger joined the Montana Chamber in July 2016 after working as an associate at a government affairs consulting firm in Washington, D.C. A native of Bigfork, Montana, Bridger was first inspired by the legislative process while serving as a page in the Montana State Senate and later served as an intern with Montana’s U.S. Senator Jon Tester. His continued interest in this field culminated with a bachelor’s degree in politics and international affairs from Wake Forest University in 2014.

Bridger brings energy to the Chamber team and enjoys ‘being a proactive voice for the business owners, workers, and others who strive to achieve the American Dream in this wonderful state we call Montana.’

MATTHEW OLSON

Matthew joined the Montana Chamber in October 2019 to increase the Chamber’s reach and add value to Chamber Members across the state as the Director of Network Development. Utilizing two decades of international business development experience and an entrepreneurial spirit, Matthew has an appetite for connecting people and building trust among leaders. Since moving home from Singapore in 2013, he has built complex growth strategies and interdisciplinary communities with leaders from the energy, water, financial, and health sectors, as well as academic centers of excellence.

After graduating from the University of Montana in 2002, Matthew spent his early career in Asia managing regional sales teams for a Japanese technology company, supporting foreign multinational corporations expanding throughout the APAC Region.

KIMBERLY SELIGMAN

Kimberly has been a part of the Montana Chamber of Commerce team since 2019. She is responsible for developing communication strategies for the Montana Chamber and the Montana Chamber Foundation, advancing our mission and vision of creating and sustaining an optimal business climate, business prosperity, and a strong Montana economy. These strategies include publications, key messaging, social media, and media outreach. Kim also leads the Montana Chamber’s marketing efforts and brand integrity.

Before joining the Montana Chamber, she spent over ten years in the healthcare industry, where she worked on communications and marketing aimed at patient outreach and community engagement.

Kim holds a bachelor of science in organizational communications from Montana State University, Billings. Though originally from Texas, she’s called Montana home since 2007. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, spending time with friends and family, and being active outdoors.
