4th Twin Cities Kirtan Fest offers yogic music for the community

Finding happiness: My answer to peace, love, joy

he Fourth Annual Twin Cities Kirtan Fest will take place from 4-11 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 at One Yoga: Non-Profit Yoga Studio. 721 W. 26th St. in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis.

This joyous community event is a celebration of Sanskrit participatory music, or kirtan. Kirtan is a form of bhakti yoga – the yoga of devotion – and it connects participants with their hearts and spirits, and evokes feelings of bliss.

The festival features local and regional bands each with their own unique sound.

This year’s festival includes Minneapolis veteran bands – Wild Moon Bhaktas, and Sitara & Kalyani with Pavan Kumar – two newly formed local bands – Soul Flower and Mahajapa – as well as regional guests Lila from Milwaukee and DJ Taz (Tazdeen Rashid) from Chicago. The event will feature a silent auction with proceeds going directly to charity. Tickets are a suggested donation of $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Advance tickets are highly encouraged, as space is limited.

spent my first 30 years accumulating – stuff, jobs, men, money, debt, fat, resentments, blame, victimitis – the usual suspects. It took only one year to lose the external mass: the husband, the business, all the money, and then the last of the stuff. It took another year to lose the fat. Hooray.

Ten years later I managed to lose the blame, resentment and victimhood. It felt pretty good, but nothing prepared me for what happened next: Peace…Love…Joy…It found me!

And then I lost it just as it had come, slowly dawning to the full glory of oneness with the light, being all and everything and knowing what is meant by “Joy” and then slowly fading away to leave me wondering when I would ever experience that magnificence, that true “reality” again.

If it hadn’t been so wonderful and real, I would be devastated at its loss. I know it is what I really am. I simply don’t know how to experience it again – yet. I recently read a children’s book that moved me to such joyful tears that I knew I was on to something big.

I studied every technique I came upon. It started with self-help books that actually did help – a great deal. Then came Hypnosis, NLP, and Reiki. I practiced Meditation, Yoga, Sedona, The Work, Ho-Oponopono, EFT, Radical Forgiveness and Busting Loose. I’m currently immersed in Mastering Alchemy and A Course in Miracles (I’m a little embarrassed as I list them all here together).

I follow amazing thought leaders on the web and get introduced to new ones weekly. My ego is definitely asking the questions that my real Self already knows the answers to.

Only now do I realize they all had the same message. All in different languages. All in different steps. Some were very simple, some very complex. All pointing in the same direction. But I wasn’t looking for the connection or commonality. I was too busy looking for “The Answer.”

Walsch’s children’s book The Little Soul and The Sun. It was all right there in those few pages of Sunday school artwork. The metaphors in everything I had been reading, studying and practicing were there all the time, but my leftbrained analysis couldn’t get it.

A simple children’s book snuck up on my right brain and shook me awake. It seems the answer I had been seeking was a kind of Extreme Forgiveness. Not the common, everyday kind of forgiveness where you take the high road believing someone did something wrong, but a whole different level of forgiveness that recognizes the forgotten Divine, lost in the illusions of life.

It’s taking a lot of practice and awareness to remember who I really am and who you really are. All of you. And it is the sweetest, most wonderful feeling when I do remember. I have never been happier in my life (with the notable exception of those minutes I experienced in Oneness) with myself, my mate, my friends, family, clients, strangers, politicians, criminals, everyone!

My neighbor with the loud pipes has been warming his car up for 20 minutes as I’m writing this. Unknowingly, he gives me an opportunity to remember who we both are, and after a moment of irritation, I smile and then laugh at the treasure he gives me. How many times have I hurt someone and now in my Extreme Forgiveness of him am forgiven myself?

It was there all the time. All my searching and questioning missed it. I have found peace, love, and joy in the moments of my forgiveness and know that they will continue to grow in duration and intensity with continued use.

Viruses: Daredevil cleansers of Old Carbon Matrix

iruses are misunderstood. They are the first line of offense. The coach is preparing the players, the old, low-grade, carbon-dominant bodies, to carry advanced refined life force.

As the preferred new cell material used by the A-Team players is of crystalline, their cells run on waves of light and sound instead of the old-style carbon custodial food, so to speak.

Everyone in the stadium of life is undergoing a remodel as they reside in their seats. Little do living forms understand that the energy that is escalating to 13.5 MHz or more is requiring us to comply by trading out our dense, dark, slowmoving pre-1962 physicality and replacing it with lighter, more oxygenated, silicate, quartz-like tissue and organs.

Our conductivity must quicken and the electric of the universe insists that our power be able to light up the scoreboard.

This is actually a mainframe that adjusts the amps so that our vision increases, our auditory range broadens, our nimbleness is regained, our skin reflects more radiance, and our minds wax to full brain capacity.

A new human form is emerging. Just look at your grandchildren. They are Raphalean and advanced by decades compared to their former gene pool. Red and blond hair, blue eyes, quick perception, kindness, intuition, ability to talk with animals and an empathetic nature are clues to this transformation upon the planet.

You are being enhanced, too.

Viruses are on the field. Most human will admit, “I just had a mighty one get me.” And you were in need of being cleaned and cleared for new cell work that is part of your necessary remodeling.

You evidently have chosen to stay on the planet as it evolutes itself in this new age or new earth.

When a virus enters, it goes to work eating out the former electrical gird. Your energy goes away. You can not image the future nor do you want to go into it. Life is standing still. The old grids are being removed and you are empty indeed.

Your DNA is changing. Things are shifting inside of you.

Why? Because everything is changing. The planet is changing. It has to in order to hold the energy, the higher frequency. Yes, some people cannot handle it and they are happy to leave. The ones who are staying on are adjusting their vibrational capacity as a capacitor and DNA is changing to adjust.

You can feel it at times, perhaps in your spine.

Trills. My cat races about the hallways with his tail in the air swirling with new-found energy we are all sharing. When things are changing, we will feel it in our body in ways of a headache, backache,

but they move on and more energy is replacing it while it is happening. The viruses are chomping away, cleansing the pathways so the new meridians can be charged at a higher crystalline level, much like replacing copper wire with fiber optic.

So you will be shut down for the change. You will feel very low, like your batteries just went dead.

In fact, that is how you best charge a new battery at first.

New memory will be born. Creativity — not possible before — will be unleashed as it downloads from Source. You must become a greater and greater receiver. You are starting to shimmer with the higher resolution of life wave patterning.

Your light-encoded filaments are causing your telomeres to lengthen, thus aging seems to melt away. You are more beautiful, symmetrical, balanced, peaceful, and happy.

Some say in 120 days you will have a new face.

Viruses are like minute Pacmen that eat through the encumbered carbon-filled pathways and do it by setting off small explosions all through your body. They are decimating the old coal mine, making room for the diamonds (silicon chips) you now can use to turn on latent codes in your superior programming. All those people who are coughing, feeling nauseous and not having an appetite for days in a forced fast, and all of them are being overhauled. The world players will be getting a new uniform, for the playing field has had to change and our bodies must become more refined and purged therefore.

Welcome to the pandemic “I’ve got a virus. I’ve got the flu” story of 2013.

Mother Nature is preparing her players for greater games of awareness and capability and to be truly free in the new life level we are entering called the 5th Dimension!

And about the concession-stand food for your new upgraded body, trade out that traditional dead material for live food that carries “let’s party” color. Drink clean, clear crystalline water all day long at about 40 degrees. This is where water is most alive. Meat eaters: drink water at room temperature or it will coagulate the fat and coat the stomach lining, giving poor absorption/digestion.

A Gluten-free, Dairy-free Whole Food Recipe

Brown Rice Pudding

Cardamom is a digestive aid, detoxifies the body and provides relief from congestion. Cinnamon stabilizes the blood sugar and lowers LDL cholesterol. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1-1/2 cups long grain brown rice 5 cups unsweetened original almond milk 2/3 cups raisins 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp cardamom 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/8 cup raw honey Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Combine the brown rice and almond milk in a casserole dish. Cover tightly with foil and bake for about an hour or until you get the creamy consistency you desire and the rice is soft.

3. Add all other ingredients.

he practice of “magick” is one of the central concepts in Pagan traditions.

Practicing magick is both a process and end result. It is part prayer, part action, part receptivity, and entirely about mastery over one’s life. The word “magick” with a “k” is used to differentiate between the “magic” of parlor tricks and the “magick” of practicing ritual to manifest an intention.

The process of magick is comprised of four parts: solicitation, recognition, action and manifestation. For example, the moment you think, “I want to meet someone new,” you begin the solicitation phase of your magickal working. When you meditate on it, pray to your higher power or write down the qualities you are looking for in someone, these actions solicit an opportunity to arise.

Now, let’s say that you are at work and someone from another department comes in that you have never met before. This is your moment to “recognize” that you are now presented with an opportunity to fulfill your desire.

Once you have recognized that an opportunity has arrived, you must act on it. In the above situation, the action you would take is to introduce yourself. In that moment, your working is complete.

Solicitation = intention + visualization.

This requires you build a complete picture of what you want, including how you intend to act when the moment arrives.

Recognition = visualization + action.

You must be able to see when a moment arrives and decide to act on it.

Action = a specific behavior in alignment with

achieving the desired goal

Manifestation = The moment of realization

that one has attained one’s objective.

More energy is power The more energy you can put behind your intent, in the solicitation phase, the more powerful the manifestation will be. This is really what “rituals” are about. The more adept one becomes at conducting a ritual, the more mastery one will attain in magically influencing reality.

A good ritual will utilize the following parts: • Setting the stage — One must create space in which to perform a ritual.

• AccoutREments to the task — Writing implements, candles, incense etc.

• Invocation of higher powers — This includes deities or any guiding force.

• Raising the energy — This can be done with singing, dancing, or anything that raises your heart rate.

• Releasing the energy — This is a visualization of sending your intent into the Universe so that it can manifest.

• Reversal of invocations and opening of space — It is best to thank whatever powers you invoked and send them on their way.

So when you put it all together it looks like this: • Desire: a raise at work.

• Ritual (solicitation, intention, visualization): Set the stage. Bless your space with

incense specific to attracting opportunity, abundance, or prosperity. Invoke your higher power or deity with a prayer. Spell out what you want on paper and the actions you will take to achieve the goal. Dance or sing or even work out to raise your energy. Imagine sending that intention out like an etheric letter to the Divine. Thank your deity for listening.

• Recognition: You are working on a project and your boss calls you in to praise you for your work. See that you have an opportunity to have a discussion about your pay.

• Action: Discuss with your employer the work that you do and the value it adds to the company. Provide examples of what others in your career are making. Talk about loyalty to the company versus looking for employment elsewhere.

• Manifestation: The boss realizes how valuable you are and gives you a raise.

t’s one thing to create a business as partners, but it’s something entirely different for three psychics to create a business in which they collaborate on readings at the same time for the same client.

That’s the Power of 3, the Psychics in the Cities, otherwise known as Kayla Wright, Judie Randall and Debra Battenfeld.

The three Twin Cities women weren’t the first to do it, but they see themselves as just a step ahead of a growing trend in which healers and lightworkers begin joining forces to heal, guide and support people in their quest to find their way in life.

Psychics in the Cities is part grit, part shaman and part soul. Add three dashes of humor — and voila!

“The reason that the three of us get together and the reason why we work together,” says Kayla Wright, “is that we

believe in the village. We believe that with one lightworker, the energy is amazing. When you get two, three, four or five together, just think how that power expounds and that light just shines off the universe.

“So (our collaboration) is one thing that we really like to push forward. That does make us unique right now, but not for long.

We’re seeing more and more healers getting together, joining forces on each client to provide even more healing.”

Her business partner, Judie Randall, adds:

“Basically, we’re about taking the fear away and coming together as soul workers and lightworkers to put more light and more positivity out into the world to counteract so much negativity from other sources.”

Psychics in the Cities offer monthly psychic gallery events in which the public can attend to get three perspectives on questions for the price of one. Their next gallery will take place on Friday, March 1, at Lake Harriet Spiritual Community at 44th and Upton Avenue South in Minneapolis.

The three women also will be keynote speakers at the Minneapolis Psychic Symposium on Saturday, March 2, at Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center, and they will be present April 20-21 at Edge Life’s Fargo Holistic Expo in Fargo, N.D. They also launch their next eight-week series of beginning psychic development classes on March 6. “It’s a really great course for people who really want to know what psychic ability is all about, not just psychic work, but intuition and how to use it to navigate their lives,” Kayla Wright says.

“Most people that we get for these classes are very gifted, and we show how to work with it. A third of our students are teachers, a third of them are in health care, and we get a lot of cops, TSA agents and the like.

These are people who are already helping souls already in their daily lives, and these

classes help them to be able to help people even more.”

The following is an conversation with Psychics in the Cities.

What was the moment when each of you knew that you had an intuitive gift?

Judie Randall: In childhood, oh maybe in my early teens, I was very aware of past lives. That was my major awareness, and I experienced a lot of déjà vu, where you know you know something, but you don’t know how you know it. I was reading about the French Revolution and I was very aware that I had been there. I could feel it, I could smell it, I could sense it.

Debra Battenfeld: I basically can remember always having my gift. I remember it from about the age of 2, but when did I realize that that was different than other people around me? I started having an interest and reading lots of books about psychic and mediumship, but it never occurred to me that I was on this path and I wanted to help others with this gift until I received a reading from a psychic from Canada named Marilyn Rosner. In the reading she told me, “You are a psychic medium.” Up until that point I did not realize that that was what I was.

Kayla Wright: I didn’t realize that I was really different. I didn’t realize that not everyone knew when other people were lying. I had events that I knew I had to show up to, even when I was a kid. There was a little boy who got hurt, and I knew that I had to go give him some Band-Aids, so I ran out of my apartment and over to where he was to help him.

I didn’t understand that not everyone knew things or felt things like I did. When I was in my early thirties working downtown, I began to really understand that this was something special and something I had to do. I had to change my life to become a psychic. I was walking through the skyway and I literally heard a voice say to me, “Go to that bookstore.”

I looked around and I thought someone was talking to me, but what I heard was my spirit guide. I walked through that bookstore and there was Echo Bodine — and she was literally saying, “Sometimes you hear a voice and it tells you to do something. That doesn’t mean you’re crazy.” It was that synchronistic, and that’s when I knew it was completely different.

Would you describe intuitive ability as something we all have, though some people are more or less able to receiving information than others?

Kayla: I think everyone has intuitive ability.

Not everyone is supposed to be a psychic, but everyone can use their gift to make their lives easier, to navigate their situations, to help them to choose their own path. I always go back to this saying, “Everyone can sing, but not everyone is an opera singer, but that does not mean we shouldn’t belt it out in the shower!”

You know what I mean?

Debra: I do know that we all have these psychic abilities to a certain degree. Where we take it and what we want to do with it is part of our life’s path — our plan that we created before

we came here in our body. I believe that if it is a passion of ours to help others and bring comfort to those in need of our gifts, then that’s the difference. That’s the difference between people using it every day of their lives without really knowing it and those who go out and give readings for others.

Judie: Yes, I am in agreement with that.

Everybody has the gift of intuition, but not everybody is comfortable with it. I believe women tend to be more open about it, and men call it their “gut.” So, we all have it, but some people are more open to it than others.

What qualities do all good, professional psychics share?

Debra: When you say “good,” that is the important word, because all psychics should have compassion and caring for whom they are reading, and for life in general. Not everyone has that. If you want things for yourself and only for you, and if you do not really have it in your heart to help others, then that is a quality that sets you apart from being a good psychic, compared to just being a psychic.

Judie: When you are working, you leave your ego at home. Providing a psychic reading is when your soul comes through, and that is what brings a genuineness to the reading. If the ego gets involved, that’s when people can run into trouble.

In what ways are all three of you similar as intuitives, and what sets you apart?

Kayla: I can tell you what sets us apart, we’ll start with that. What sets every psychic apart is that we each receive our information a little differently. Personally, I will get most of my information empathically and energetically through Spirit guides. I know Deb receives a lot of her information through angels. Judie speaks to the soul. So while we’re getting somewhat of the same information, we’re getting it from a different source and we’re getting it through our perception of that source.

Debra: We love what we do and we have a common goal to help others.

Judie: Yes, we share a compassion for the client.

What do you do individually or as a group to prepare for a reading?

Judie: When we work with a group, and you’ve heard me do this, I do an invocation, asking our guides and our angels to come in and be with us. I call upon our power animals to come in and help us out. I’m always asking that we be given information for everybody’s highest good and how they can further their souls through me. When we are done working — as a group, for sessions we do at expos and galleries and big events — we will always close down at the end also and thank the Universe for all the information we have been given and all the words that they give us to give to the people. And we always ask that it be taken out into the Universe and be spread out to help everybody with their higher journey.

 Power of 3 continued from page 17 Kayla: Individually, if I’m going to go to a job by myself or working with a client, I ask God and my angel guides to come forward.

I thank them in advance to help me maintain clear, concise and accurate information, and that my client — and this is the most important part for me — understands that clearly, concisely and accurately. That’s especially important with me, because I get down to the nitty gritty. You’re not going to get a big fluffy piece from me, and I just want to make sure that you get that.

Debra: I am very much like Kayla in how I prepare for a reading. I have a talk with my angels and guides and ask them to be with me and to help me receive clear messages and be there for support. I also I ask the angels and guides of the person I am reading to come forward so that I can give them messages.

Judie: When I do an individual reading, I ask my angels and guides to come in right beforehand and also to be there with me.

But I also have found when I am doing phone readings at home that I tend to sit on the floor when I do that, with my animals with me. If the person I am reading has animals, my animals will come in and bug me until I talk to that person about their animals and give out some information about their animals.

If somebody comes to an expo and wants a reading, what do you recommend for them in terms of finding an intuitive who is right for him or her?

Kayla: When we are at an expo and are just chit chatting with one another, we find people walking around, especially those who have never been to an expo before, who get very overwhelmed. They’re a little afraid. I always tell them, “Listen, walk around and look at the people and you feel what you feel. If you feel trust with yourself, if you like someone’s energy, then sit down with that person. Or, you can just chat with them. If you like what they have to say and you feel comfortable with them, sit down.”

Not every psychic is good for every person. I do the bookings for the company, and I am pretty good at determining who is going to be the better fit between the

three of us for that client. I know if they need a quick, get it done, get the nitty gritty information, I’ll probably take that client.

If they really need a loving and hopeful message, I will typically send them to Deb. Judie is good for someone who feels kind of lost, and really doesn’t know where he or she is going, soul-wise or life-wise.

For those people who are walking around not knowing what to do, I let them know that they have the power to choose the right psychic. And I always tell them this, though, “If you ever come across a psychic who says, ‘For another $20 I’ll give you more reading,’ or ‘You need to come back to me again,’ pick up your money and walk away, because those are the shysters and those are the ones who give the rest of us a bad name.

Debra: I believe there’s a little bit of higher power involved. I feel that when you are open to receiving messages, information, then the angels and guides will help you find the right one or the right company, like Psychics in the Cities, because we do offer a large variety of different gifts to offer our clients.

I would like each one of you to select what you think is the greatest misconception you would like to clear up about psychics.

Judie: There is a misconception that we are mind readers, that we walk around and we look at people and we read their minds.

Therefore, when I am in my other business world, I am pretty careful who I let know what I do, because I’ve had them say to me, “I don’t want you near me because you’re going to read my mind.” That’s not what I do and it’s not how it works. We are not mind readers.

Kayla: One is that we are witches. Some of us might be witches, but I’m not. And, the other one is that we are fortune tellers, and that we’re going to be able to give people tips to win money. I get potential clients who call up and say, “Well, I have some business decisions.” They need to know if their stock is going to go up or down, and so forth.

Listen, there may be a psychic who can do that, but that’s not where we choose to

go. I don’t believe that those are actually good psychics, because that’s not necessarily for the higher person’s good. If something comes through in a reading in which I see some guy coming in and he’s going to offer you this business opportunity, but I’m getting a bad feeling about it, I’ll share that, but stock options? Really. I would be driving my Jaguar, okay? I would be living in a 500,000-square-foot house if it worked that way. But it doesn’t.

Debra: People don’t want you to look in their eyes, and but the thing is, that’s how I can read a person. I look in their eyes and see their soul, so I guess that misconception is true for me. If I can look into your eyes I will be able to see who you are.

Examples of questions we get are, “Who am I going to date or who am I going to marry?” But we don’t receive information that people are not ready for, or that they’re not prepared to deal with. We don’t receive every single answer to every question given to us by a client, because it’s not all for them to know right now. That’s hard for them to understand. Some of them fire off a list 10 or 20 questions long, wanting this answer and this answer and this answer.

We will only put forth the information that would be for their higher good, and some of them just cannot accept that. They want to know the name of their future husband or what color hair he is going to have or what state they’re going to get married in or even what dress she’s going to wear.

Once again, this information most of the time is not necessarily something that is for their higher good or to help them in their day-to-day lives. I think those are the clients who don’t really get what they should out of their reading. So there is a misconception out there that we know every single thing that they present to us — that we know the answers or that Spirit will bring forth the answers. They won’t. Not all of them. Not all the time.

What is the purpose of a psychic?

Kayla: I believe that psychics are — I don’t want to say leaders or teachers — I want to say guides, and we are a guide to how to listen to your own self, to listen to your own intuition. I find that 75 percent of the time after we share information with a client, the client will say, “You know, I kind of already knew that.” So, we serve as a validator of what they already know.

One of the reason I do this is to help alleviate people’s fear. Seventy-five percent of the people live in fear on some level. As a psychic, I think one of the biggest gifts we can give to human beings who are on this joy ride with us is to not be so damn afraid.

Guess what? We get to do it again, so you can’t really screw up too badly, you know?

Judie: When I am being a psychic, I am out there helping souls on their journey. That’s from my angle of it. That is my way. I am the shaman of the group, and the shaman has many different areas to work in, but the psychic is one of my areas that I feel most gifted with, so it has been helping souls on their journey.

Kayla: Psychics empower their clients, giving them the confidence that they can get through life with a little less angst.

But that comes from within, guiding them through their own intuition, and validating that they know what to do — so that they don’t have to keep going to psychics.

Of course, going to a psychic is not a bad thing! As psychics, we go to psychics. I just went for a psychic checkup, you know, because we all need a little push or a little guidance or a little validation of what we know — and it’s very empowering. a This interview has been edited for space.

Hearing the Voice of your Soul

hh, the hustle and bustle of daily life. It helps us keep our bills paid and responsibilities met. And it can cause stresses and pains that we often feel we don’t have the resources to recognize or prevent. We distract ourselves with work, television, alcohol, what have you, so we don’t feel the pain — so we can keep doing what we’re doing.

The problem is, those pains are actually guidance from our soul, and if we ignore them, we are ignoring essential clues about how to live fulfilling lives.

How do we start to hear that guidance? A crucial first step is to turn down the volume of the distractions in our lives. Distractions abound in our society, from daily habits such as how we eat, work, and entertain ourselves, to full-blown addictions. Lessening them could mean making changes — from things like avoiding the TV and computer more often, to adopting a meditation routine or facing addictions.

Once we are less distracted, our problems surface of their own accord in the form of (often uncomfortable) realizations about our lives. It could be anything from, “Wow — I never noticed how tight these shoes were!” to “I think my partner is cheating on me.” When you start letting the issues surface, it’s amazing the revelations you’ll have. Patience, time and support are needed for the process, especially if the realizations are uncomfortable or even unwelcome. Let’s face it — that’s why we sought out the distractions in the first place!

What do we do once we’re finally sensitive to the nagging thoughts and feelings we’ve been avoiding for so long? Honestly, we might be tempted to start distracting ourselves again! Luckily, often simply acknowledging the emotions we’ve been covering up is enough to

help them subside. This can be hard, because many emotions seem to have scary ramifications.

Think of the following examples: “I want to leave my spouse/partner…My parents are disappointed in me…My career is not a fit for me…I regret having children.” If we don’t know how to deal with those emotions, or if we feel guilt or shame about them, we might seek to pretend we don’t feel them. This is where distractions enter the picture.

Now, distracting ourselves (with television, overworking, eating unhealthy foods, etc.) works for a while, but like all the quick-fixes in our society, it is not a long-term solution to feeling better. Those emotions build up in our system and persist until we acknowledge them, and adjust our behavior accordingly. It might seem like it’s not worth it to face these feelings — the risks might seem too great — but the far greater risk lies in not facing them. There are many ways to do this. The Ultimate De-stressor

hen I am stressed, and also wise (hardly all the time!), I connect with God. The God I connect with is always patient, kind, caring, peaceful, joyous, unconditionally loving, and in all people, things and events, including myself. Today, feeling stressed, I asked for help, and received this answer: When you ask for My help, I am here, attentive to you. So ask frequently and I shall be attentive frequently. When I am attentive, notice My presence. You can feel My presence with your somatic senses, such as touch, pressure, tempera-

ture, kinesthesia, muscle sense, visceral sense, or even your sense of equilibrium. I am with you in every moment, whether you ask or not, and you can find Me in every moment. If you do not find Me, then ask and look for My response.

I will respond every time, though you may not be able to notice. Continue to ask, open and notice. You will begin to find My responses. I am with you at your deepest level. Open to your deepest level and you will find Me more easily.

You are open to your deepest level when you feel your deepest peace. So what is it that you need to do to find peace? And when you find peace, how do you find the deepest peace?

To find peace, stop looking. Just feel what is

already there. Allow it to be there. There is peace under the allowing, so notice the allowing and expand the allowing. Then notice the stillness underneath. It is always there, and I am always there with it. You may not recognize My presence there with it right away. That’s okay. As you practice these things, over time you will find Me more and more clearly.

Along with Me, you will find more joy, deeper peace and unconditional love for yourself and others. These states are natural for you. Anything that keeps you from these states is an interference or an internal resistance. When you find these, you begin by allowing the interference or resistance. Then you find My presence, My peace, My joy and My unconditional love. When you have found these, own them for yourself. Then you

may meet the interference or resistance and find the harmonies contained therein.

As you continue these practices, they will become easier and more constant in your life.

Your internal and external environments will respond also with greater harmony.

This all seems so simple. Is it real? Can it work?

Am I a figment of your imagination without any real power? The answers to these questions are not contained in words or thoughts. You find these answers through practice. I am with you always. a

n our fast-paced culture, just about everyone feels stressed…by work demands, schedules and deadlines, if nothing else.

But it’s not necessary to stay stressed, and you don’t have to quit your job to get some relief. It’s also not necessary to learn to meditate or do yoga or Tai Chi, though those practices certainly help when you can do them.

Let’s look more closely at what you’re feeling stressed by, and I’ll offer some ways you can help yourself — and also get help — to feel more at ease in your life and work. Here are some common stressors: 1. Too much to do and not enough time.

If your work (or home) environment is psychologically negative, some essence possibilities are these: Living Tree Orchid Essences Soul Shield+ or FES Y.E.S. Mind-Body emerges as new discipline to manage stress

tress is caused by physiological, psychological and environmental factors. Most people live their lives without knowing the most compatible lifestyle based on their individual constitution of body and mind. That is why an Ayurvedic evaluation of body type and mind-type can be useful to design the best holistic health and healing program for each person to create the maximum benefit and wellness results.

Excessive workload, deadlines and excessive multi-tasking without a regular break can induce physical stress.

Sometimes an excessive exercise schedule, without knowing your best threshold for exercise fitness, can also further add stress and strain in the muscles and joints — and also in the heart itself. Exercise is good for health, provided we adopt the most compatible approach based on physical fitness index. Even young athletes can suffer a sudden cardiac arrest, and older persons can face knee pain or back pain or even more muscle aches, unless we evaluate the best exercise plan based on the individual physiological efficiency level at that specific period. We also need to evaluate their compatibility based on body individual type.

If the right exercise plan is adopted systematically, then a person never has to worry about the experience of exerciseinduced stress response in the system.

Emotional and relationship issues also can create stress in a person. A type A personality will experience more stress than a type B. But a type B can easily feel

depressed or unfulfilled. Thus, stress has a negative effect on the psycho-neuro-immune-endocrine axis stability.

People with heart disease will have further negative effects, because excessive stress can create an irregular heart beat and angina. Stress can have negative impact on asthma. Stress can also induce incontinence. Some emotional and behavior issues can be aggravated due to stress. Management of anxiety and depression issue can be more difficult under chronic stress situation.

ear Self, you are truly a gift. You do not even realize how very sacred your presence is to this world, so I am going to tell you. Your Sweet Heart is the center of your universe as it should be. I know it is at times quite difficult to believe that this part of you that creates so much passion, drama, high highs and low lows can actually be your sacred gift, but it is.

Did you notice that you did not start this love letter addressed to your heart? Maybe it is assumed that the self encompasses all aspects of who you are and that your heart, as usual, gets lumped in with the crowd. It is imperative that you recognize this part of your being as the secret and magical doorway to success that it is.

Yes, I said success — a term you have used in your ego mind that seems to be so far behind you now, or is it? Does it still haunt you? That is not a criticism nor a judgment, but it is simply an observation to be made.

Deep within you, can you actually entertain the notion that your heart, yes the soft red cut-out piece of construction paper with scalloped edges that comes out on Valentine’s Day, your heart, is the doorway to success? In fact, it is the only way to achieve that which your mind set out early on to realize in this lifetime — or rather, once you bought into the human terms of existence, somewhere around high school, most likely.

Maybe the idea of your heart being a doorway seems too mystical, like a gateway to another place — and there, it is there you will reach the destination of destiny. Maybe it’s a key that will open many doors that represent all the aspects of you, and the dreams and wishes you hold within the various parts of your being.

Why is it that you have not lingered there?

Or made the heart the focal point of growth and development?

I know it’s complicated. But that is only because in human form there becomes an awareness of the need for cohabitation, amongst the parts of your existence. Body, Mind, Heart and Soul. In this cohabitation, each one of these areas takes its turn as the focus of your energy. There is a juggling act that is practiced again and again within your one lifetime. There is no secret key to mastery of the order of priority that these aspects should take. No magic formula. Rather, at this time, with this love letter, the focus is on the heart.

The shifting of power to the heart as the center is to give you roots, while at the same time allow you to feel your wings. Feeling yes, that word so intermingled with happiness and sorrow, but such a wonderful way to connect to and experience gratitude.

The love that is buried within you may have once been in your solar plexus, your soul. Now it is within the heart, waiting for you to come deep into its caverns and bring out to the light its riches, piece by golden piece. And to share it with the world.
