I

recently returned home from a family trip to Amsterdam, where we visited the Anne Frank House. If you ever have the opportunity to visit this historic site, where Anne and her family hid for a year before being found and deported, I highly recommend it.

These days, with the rise of neo-Nazis and white supremacists on American soil, revisiting the Holocaust hit me stronger emotionally than it might have otherwise.

Listening to Anne’s story within the context of the larger story of Germany and Hitler, it’s easy to argue that dangerous movements don’t happen all at once, but rather build a little at a time. And while they are served by those who believe similarly, they are equally served by those of us who choose not to get involved.

Those of us who remain bystanders.

This point about the unintentional aid of bystanders was driven home by our tour guide. She asked us if we were curious about who had betrayed Anne and her family by disclosing their location.

Of course, we were.

To this day, she explained, there are numerous theories. But no one single person has been named.

She went on to say that Anne’s father, Otto Frank, was asked this same question numerous times. His answer was this: while it would be convenient to lay the betrayal at the feet of one person, in truth, it did not belong to one person alone. It belonged to the whole of humanity.

In other words, the betrayal belonged to us, not them.

We are the ones responsible for teaching, sharing, guiding and doing the work that must now be done if we hope to see a healthy, safe, clean

and free future for ourselves and our children. Not they.

We are the ones who must be committed to justice, fairness, and equality. Not they.

We are responsible for speaking out for those who can’t. Not they.

We are the activists.

I probably don’t have to convince anyone in this readership that Donald Trump’s presidency came with built-in danger signs. In seven months time, he has demonstrated that his leadership instincts are authoritarian and his allegiance is tied only to himself and those who can pay for it.

White nationalists, white supremacists and neo-Nazis have received, if not an endorsement, at least a pass from our 45th president in the wake of the events at Charlottesville.

Human rights are slipping away tweet by tweet.

Global warming data and the scientists who offer it are quietly being set aside.

I can’t help but add that today is the first day in my life I’ve had to look up whether to capitalize white nationalists, white supremacists, and neo-Nazis.

Many spiritual leaders have sought and found a silver lining to his presidency: a rippling awakening that continues to this day. It’s true that millions of people who have never gotten involved in politics before are protesting, calling, writing and contributing, and in their own way finding a cause and committing to it.

But where are the people from the spiritual community? I feel like if they were out en masse, we’d know it. I feel like it would be front page news, something like, “Millions of Yogis, chanting Namasté and breaking for Sun Salutations, take to  see COMPASSION on p. 8 publication or in any advertisement.

Got a craving for crunch & salt?

Food First

A

re you someone who craves something crunchy and salty? Then the “crunch” in this recipe is for you! Great on salads or all on their own, these roasted chick peas are a delicious, crunchy source of protein! Maybe you are someone who likes a little spice in your food. Then the dressing in this recipe is for you!

Make a little extra dressing and use it later on sliced pork or to stir into some Thai noodles.

The salad part of this bowl is full of mixed greens, vegetables and vegan sources of protein from the quinoa and chickpeas.

Layer it all up in a bowl or on a plate and you have a super nutrient balanced and super tasty meal!

Thai Quinoa Bowl with Crunch Crunch: Take one 12 oz. can chickpeas (garbanzo beans) rinse, drain and blot with paper towel. Toss in a bowl with 2 T Olive Oil, salt to taste and spice how you like with curry, onion powder, cayenne, or other spices. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast at 450 degrees for 30-40 minutes until crunchy and browned. This part can be done ahead of time and saved for snacks or crunch for any green leafy salad or this quinoa bowl. For this recipe, I seasoned with Himalayan salt, onion powder and curry powder.

Salad: 1 cup cooked quinoa (follow package directions)

There are, after all, a lot of us.

Consider these staggering statistics: As per a recent joint study between Yoga Journal and Yoga Alliance [www.yogajournal.com/page/ yogainamericastudy], 36 million people now practice yoga in this country. That’s roughly 10 percent of our population. Ten percent is halfway to the tipping point, as written about in the book by that name, by Malcolm Gladwell. The tipping point is the point at which our collective consciousness shifts/expands/rises to accommodate the new, higher vibration the minority has been working for.

This is when the entire culture takes a giant step forward. This is how things go global, or viral, or become common knowledge across continents. This is how we tip paradigms. This is how we stop dangerous movements in their tracks.

We cannot create a healthier world by stepping back from the light of the truth.

We cannot create a fairer world by silencing our voice.

We cannot cultivate peace through passive actions.

Our wisdom means nothing if it is not shared.

Our love activates nothing if we do not activate our love.

Our personal ability to transcend the stuff of this world will mean nothing if there is no world.

Dressing: In small saucepan, combine and heat on low until melted: 6 T coconut milk 2 T sesame oil 4 T peanut butter (no sugar added) 2 tsp Sriracha 1 tsp curry powder 2 garlic cloves Himalayan salt and black pepper to taste The quinoa, dressing and crunch can all be made ahead of time. Blend all salad ingredients and top with the dressing and chickpeas. Serves 2. a

In this column, I intend to give voice to the many reasons why the tools we carve and shape in our spiritual practices — compassion, patience, grounding, truthspeaking, open-heartedness — are exactly what the world needs most right now.

Here, in summary fashion, are several reasons why we should not only be involved in the world’s politics, but we, the members of the spiritual community, should be on the front lines: • Spiritual practitioners understand the potent power of words (mantra) and can wield them skillfully in a time when words have begun to lose meaning and truth has become play dough.

• We know how to find comfort in discomfort (asana), and therefore we are not afraid to get uncomfortable.

• We have the ability to sit in stillness and have cultivated the ability to respond, not react (meditation) to an event. This has built within us both patience and stamina for the long road.

• We have tapped into the power of our own breath (pranayama) and have seen how it not only alters our mind but the minds of those around us.

• We’ve studied the importance of tipping points and many of us have at least dabbled in quantum physics (The Secret).

• We understand what happens — and we know what to do — when the energy that lives within each of us (chakras) gets blocked or opened.

• We believe the love is stronger than hate. We believe in a peaceful world. We believe in human beings.

distracted as the month begins; it’s not about you. Be empathetic and patient, warm but selfentertaining. Calm, rather than feed, drama and gossip mid-month. Feel the enthusiasm shifting in your direction by Thanksgiving.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)…Your solitary or obsessive streak may be showing as the month begins; if you long for connection, don’t stay home and isolate. Connect to community through classes or learning with more formal communications early in the month; make yourself useful mid-month, then invite others in from Thanksgiving on.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)…Use your private time to reorganize your personal resources time, energy, money, crafts materials as the month begins. Finding gratitude within the challenge

hrough November we’re challenged to turn cynicism into gratitude, not by hiding out from the world’s trauma, but by reframing and redirecting our focus, and by doing our best to help. Suspicion, focus, love, competence and gratitude all swirl together, but we can choose which streams to pursue.

Expansive Jupiter has just entered Scorpio for this next year, reminding us that our freedom can come from Scorpio’s depth, as Jupiter encourages us to look under rocks, get real and transform. As Mercury enters Sagittarius on November 5, joined by the Sun on November 21, they remind us to widen our horizons and explore gratitude to restore our resiliency and do the work needed to evolve.

November begins focused, even obsessive, with Mercury, the sun and Jupiter all in focused and brooding Scorpio. Our hearts are softened by Venus and Mars in Libra, though we long for a more perfect world with kinder people and more romance. Venus enters Scorpio November 7 and can sharpen our response. Let’s practice compassion and perspicacity mid-November when emotions flow strongly, as Venus conjuncts Jupiter while Mercury squares confusing Neptune, and Mars squares powerful Pluto.

The sun enters upbeat, honest, restless Sagittarius November 21 and calls us to pour intelligence into our visions.

Aries (Mar. 21-Apr. 19)…If you feel challenged about working with other people’s resources — their ideas, stuff or money, your independence tweaked by waiting on other people’s decisions — know you have more bargaining power if you exercise patience. While you’re waiting, focus on the philosophic bigger picture and resources outside of your normal purview. Opportunities expand after November 21.

Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)…Stable Taurus, if your world may feel rocky or touch on your insecurities in any equal relationship, particularly around November 4, ask for reassurance directly rather than give into suspicion. Dream together mid-November as Venus trines Neptune, and quietly be there for others through the holiday.

An Interview with Christine Day

B

orn and raised in Australia, Christine Day experienced a traumatic childhood involving cult ritual abuse.

In 1986, following a diagnosis of advanced systemic lupus, and having been told she had just two months to live, Christine experienced a profound spiritual awakening with the Pleiadians, which enabled her to move into a place of self healing. She has now been symptom free for the last 26 years. Over the past 25 years, Christine has become internationally renowned as the Pleiadian Ambassador, as a gifted spiritual teacher, healer and channel.

She will be presenting three powerful events during the next two months to help the entire planet continue in a transformation that she says the entire universe is celebrating: • November 12 — At the 2017 Minneapolis Holistic Expo, from 2-3:30 p.m., Christine Day will present a Keynote talk entitled “Pineal Gland Activation,” an initiation that will lead participants into a deep rebirthing process.

Christine Day spoke with The Edge about this series of three events, the like of which we’ve never experienced before.

For those new to what you do, let’s begin by talking about the Pleiadians. Who are they and what is their relationship to planet Earth?

The Pleiadians are living in incarnation right now. They are not in spirit form. I think that’s a very important piece, that they are actually living in incarnation and part of their mission and destiny of their incarnation in this life, in their lifetime, is to support planet Earth in the transition that we are going through.

Their role is to bring information, understanding and clarity to us as human beings of how we can evolve and what is taking place on planet Earth. Bringing clarity and information so that we can be self-empowered to really step into more aspects of our own sacredness, our own mission, and get a better understanding of who we are in our humanness, who we are in our spiritual selves, and where we fit in with the universal community that we are a part of.

What is their relationship to planet Earth and why are they involved in helping us?

As we evolve, we realign and reconnect to our true place within the universe. The universe is not complete without our awakening. Through our awakening, the universe itself becomes much more productive, much more effective, much more alive, and so the rest of the universe is waiting for us on planet Earth to remember who we are and start reconnecting and taking our full place within the universal collective consciousness.

That is why the Pleiadians are playing their role, and the rest of the universe is playing its role to bring us back into a remembrance of our place, our true place, and our true home.

Our universe is our expanded home. We’ve kind of got tunnel vision, that we are here all from planet Earth, but we actually do belong within the universe, as well.

It’s like the galactic community is a bunch of butterflies and there is one cocoon waiting to transform, right?

That’s a very nice analogy, Tim, and yes, it’s true. It’s not that we’re behind; it’s our time now for the transitional energy to take place.

The Pleiadians say we’re perfectly on time and in good shape. We wouldn’t look at it and say it that way when we look out in the midst of our world, this drama that is in front of us, but the

Pleiadians don’t see it that way. They just see things playing out as they should be playing out at this time, especially with the new light that is pouring onto the planet — that discrepancy of the light and the shadow.

All the truths are being revealed and things are coming up out of the dark mist to be revealed. So, this transformational process is creating a lot of chaos.

Did the Pleiadians ever exist in the third dimension, or is that unique to planet Earth?

It’s very unique to planet Earth. The Pleiadians and most of the universe operate from the fifth-, sixth- and seventh-dimensional consciousness — and we can transform, as well. It doesn’t take a long time for us to make our move. That’s the whole thing. We’re already perfectly intact in our sacredness. It’s just a matter of a veil being removed and us remembering.

Some people have the perception that, “Oh, my gosh! I’ve got this long path to find and reconnect and find myself,” but, no. We are already fully intact. It’s like awakening from a dream. We’re moving through the veil that is loosening and lifting for many of us now, so that we come to reconnection, reunion, remembering — and then we’re there!

In your monthly column in The Edge, “A Pleiadian Message,” you have been outlining these specific changes occurring throughout our transformation. How would you describe where we are now in this process?

I think we’re two thirds of the way there.

The Pleiadians are saying that this transmutation will take place in our lifetime. We will achieve the reconnection, the sacred that we are, the full remembering process.

We’re destined to shift the relationship with our humanness through that awakening to the sacred of ourself, because we will hold ourselves in much more love and compassion and less self-judgment. Separation won’t be there.

It will really be a total revolution within ourselves, with our human part and our sacred part. We’re not going to lose our human part. We’re going to live that out, but we will be consciously living our sacredness, as well. The picture is very rosy, as far as the Pleiadians are concerned, and there’s a lot of joy in it.

And then we go back to our daily experience right now and people say things are getting worse, but that’s just an illusion at this point?

Indeed, it is. The illusion is accelerating, and the drama is accelerating, because all that is not truth now is just shattering and all the muck is coming up. All the density is coming up. All the separation, all the racial prejudice, all the murk within the world is being revealed — it can’t be put under the carpet anymore. It is not possible, because

We will achieve the reconnection, the sacred that we are, the full remembering process. the light is bringing it up to the surface.

So we are looking at a messy situation right now, but it is the illusion. The Pleiadians keep saying, “Come into your heart” — and I love this, that the heart is our only true and authentic reference point in our world right now. That is where we must source from to stay balanced and anchored. We won’t do that all the time because we’re still not done with the drama, but we can start doing it on a regular basis and our lives can change. We can change ourselves. It’s self-empowerment. It’s very important.

How can people enter their heart, for those who have never done that consciously?

It’s simpler than you think, especially right now, because another chamber of the heart has opened to support every individual, including the person who has never looked further than in their mind. When you come into your heart, your heart cells are actually waiting for this reconnection now. This is available for anyone who wants to have that moment. The heart space is the full chest, so you can put the palm of your hand on any part of the chest and just let your awareness come to where you feel the warmth or the pressure of your hand on your heart. Begin by taking one breath and saying, “This is my heart.”

It’s about you consciously choosing to claim this space of your heart, maybe for the first time. It is a simple process of breathing and letting go, and just five minutes a day will start to create an evolution of reconnection through you, and every cell in your heart will transform in that moment you choose to come in. It’s a simple process.

Would you say that’s the key right now, for each one of us during this transformational phase?

It’s the only key. I’ll say it again, the heart is your only authentic and true reference point in your life right now. It will absolutely open the doors, bring you into a

place of peace, and move you away from the illusion so that you can start to really be peaceful and start to see things from another vantage point and not get drawn into the drama. Simply just witness it.

What I see is a bud of a flower, and it starts to open as you come into your heart.

You’re the bud and the petals pull back and begin to open like a flower to the sun, and that sun is that light of your Self that is connected through the heart space. You choose to align to that, to that light of the sun, as you start to navigate into your heart space.

That is all we’re being asked to do right now, this one, simple step, and let everything unfold naturally from there. It is a natural re-unfolding into another part of yourself, that sacred Higher Self.

In a recent interview, you talked about the power of the light that occurred on September 23. Will you tell us about that?

Yes, that was a very interesting energy because on that date a huge amount of light came onto the planet, more than had ever come onto the planet at any one time in the history of the Earth plane. The light just flowed in.

It was designed to bathe those who were ready to receive that huge amount of light. It also set in motion a tremendous amount of change, bringing up more levels of density and drama, so we had a lot of eruptions going on. Those who were ready opened to receive that huge influx of light and they went through a massive transformational moment. That was the whole day of the 23rd of September, and that energy is still impacting the Earth plane right now.

It’s going to accelerate into November and December. This energy is accelerating the natural forces of storms, or earthquakes. Everything is erupting. Earth is going through its own transformational metamorphic process, and so we’re going to see a lot of that.

For those who have not experienced your events live, please explain a little bit about the Pleiadian initiations and the sacred sounds that participants might experience when they come and see you.

The Pleiadians bring in what are called light initiations. The design for these initiations is that they don’t enter your energetic field, but they bring in light that comes around your energetic field and allows you to align into your Higher Self energy. It actually opens the door for you to re-access that which is sacred in you.

It opens and activates energy within the cells of your body and through your energetic field, and it empowers you to begin to align deeper within an awakening process.

oday, the rains returned. Dank leaves cling to sparkling green grass. Somber clusters of grey clouds blanket the skies.

The wind’s hallowed song wells through the doors and windows of my dwelling. All these impressions are poignant and beautiful to me, a reward for having cultivated balance in life.

People who go through life ungrounded, unbalanced and uncentered are like dry, crumpled leaves left twisting in the wind. They are at the mercy of all the forces around them. As a practical matter, what is a person to do in difficult times? I asked Cedric Red Feather and he replied: “Finding your center? The center is right here — where you’re standing. It’s not across the street in some fancy house; it’s not in the Temple; it’s not, as many suggest, this Holy spot on Harney Peak or at the top of Machu Picchu. You don’t have to look for the center, because it’s right where you are. That is where you start from. I learned this from our Indian elders.”

“Still,” I remarked to Cedric, “we hear people suffering all the time because they find themselves overwhelmed by circumstances. What are they supposed to do when it feels as though the world has been turned upside down?” Cedric just remained calm and austere and replied, “When the world is upside down, that is the world: it is not you. You are not the reason for lightning striking a particular place. It’s just nature.”

When I view life that way, as Cedric’s wise words suggest, I am at peace. I am not looking for balance, truth or happiness outside myself: they are all within. This is hard for many to grasp, because we are taught a corrosive kind of wishful thinking. The grass is always emerald greener somewhere beyond another white picket fence.

We attend workshops and classes and read books on manifesting our desires. We wish away great portions of our lives, which are already under our direction, if only we would awaken.

Il maestro, Federico Fellini, admonished: “You have to live spherically — in many directions.

Never lose your childish enthusiasm — and things will come your way.” Therein lies a path to balance: we are to cultivate a sense of openness, wonder, trust. In other words, we have to

relearn what we already understood intuitively as children.

More than one religious or spiritual tradition treasures the child’s eye view. In Native American spiritual culture, children are regarded as Holy and closer to The Great Spirit. We are encouraged in homiletic biblical tradition to become as little children, in order that we may enter the kingdom of heaven. The openness we had as children was a greater connection to the flow of things. Just allow.

Expand. Let go of the impulse to direct, control, and micromanage. Lao Tzu instructs, “If nothing is done, nothing is left undone.” Stop stressing over every small thing. Relax. Just let it breathe.

Cultivate a sense of wonder. In a supreme posture of arrogance, we may find that lately we are “not amused” by anything; the word “wow” ceases to leave our lips. We assume we have been there, done that, gotten the coffee mug. Go out in nature and watch the dance of tree branches.

Take painterly stock of the super-numerous shades of orange among the leaves. If you look patiently, you will see red orange, yellow orange, pumpkin spice, russet brown, raw sepia, burnt sienna, and light beige.

Trust a little more in the process. Realize that everything that happens ultimately contributes to our highest good. Now and then the wheel turns and life seems to spiral away from us.

When, as this month’s prompt suggests, everything seems upside down, smile gently and thank the Guides for all experiences, without judgment.

We tend to travel full circle, only to land in a better place than that from which we came.

How do we lose that anxious feeling that, any moment now, life will spin out of control? Just embrace it. Be in the moment. Things change.

Through surrender to our own center, peace and balance are thereby restored. a

Becoming aware of your resistance

Surfing the chaos of our world

id you know that you are fearless, generous beyond thought, gracious, creative, able to shape shift your destiny?

You are! So what is keeping you from celebrating yourself, from living the bountiful life you deserve and can create?

In looking at the events of the past several years, I found a thread, a luminous thread that led me through the maze of challenges we face today. How did the events of our time form into the chaos of the world today, as well as the turmoil in our own personal lives? As you hold up your star shield to the Great Spirit, you see that there is a dangerous imbalance of the male and female energies on this Earth.

We must balance the intellect and mind of the male with the intuition and emotion of the female in order to understand how we came here from nature and what we are made of. If not, then maybe we are lost.

Maybe our evolution as a species will actually cease.

But there is a choice we can make to prevent that and achieve a critical balance. I believe it comes down to the one lesson that the Sisterhood of the Shields taught me over and over: how to give up resistance and pick up the shield of empowerment.

The events of this past year, in particular, demonstrated the turmoil of uncertainty.

We have always lived with a sense of insecurity, and until lately, most of us have spent our energy trying to ignore it or pretend it doesn’t bother us. So how do we — as shamans — learn to make uncertainty our ally? How do we let go of our resistance to change, our fear of what is different? This has become a focus within my Shamanic Mystery School.

If I could teach you only one thing, I would choose for you to learn how to ride uncertainty like a wave. If you can learn to ride within the power of the wave, to allow its energy to propel you forward, you can tap into a source of personal power.

Using energy in a focused, conscious way will reduce the sense or experience of chaotic energy for yourself and others around you. Chaos is a part of creation, and instead of resisting or responding in fear, we want to shift how we respond to it by directing our awareness to the beauty and opportunities it manifests.

Dynamic energy is given off by an act of creation, and the energy that comes from the chaotic side of creation is powerful. It is uneven and somewhat like being in an earthquake. This dynamic energy is uncer-

tainty. But it is an amazing energy once we tap into it and ride it like a wave.

The Sisterhood taught me to not stand and fight the wave, but to throw myself into it. Like the dolphins riding the surf line, when you relax and move with the current, you rise to the surface and maintain your sense of direction. Uncertainty in life is like that and we choose how to face it.

As shamans, we learn to see the energy between all living things — the energy of true power. I want you to be aware of the truth that energy is just energy. It is not good or bad, not dark or light, until someone or something focuses it. Energy itself is pure and unaffected in its original state and is incredibly powerful. By understanding and refocusing these frequencies, you can move into their flow and achieve the male/female energy balance. You can learn to surf!

It is your awareness of energy that allows you to begin to use it, to tap into its power to create the life you desire, to bring healing to yourself, your loved ones, the planet.

Within that awareness, you make a shift of consciousness. However, the chaos you experience today is the result of your resistance to this shift.

Furthermore, throughout much of the world now, the economic field of energy is very stressed. This stress spills over into almost every aspect of your life, as you worry about how to support your family, as our countries move ever deeper into debt, creating an instability that will become the legacy your grandchildren inherit. This all results in fear. Your inability to create meaningful changes in response causes you to put up walls of resistance, to separate from others, to fear and distrust those with whom you disagree on ways to improve our world.

So it is essential, now more than ever, that you look at the choices you make and why you hold resistance in your body — which, in turn, creates a block, literally, within your life force. That resistance depletes your energy, separates you from Great Spirit, creating more chaos in your life and thereby in the world.

How do you shift away from resistance into riding the wave of uncertainty?

A practice Find a place where you can be comfortable and at peace…whether that is outdoors or in your living room. Grab a piece of paper or journal and a writing implement. Try the present: side effects may include peace

was taking a walk in Theodore Wirth Park today. It’s utterly beautiful out, 70 degrees, light breeze, fluffy clouds and blue sky. Some leaves are just starting to turn but it’s still very green and there are pops of color from wild flowers here and there. At one point I realized I wasn’t actually noticing any of this because I was occupied with something going on in my mind. It wasn’t anything dramatic. Honestly, I think I was thinking about a video I had recently seen on YouTube.

But there I was, surrounded by all this beauty and I wasn’t paying attention to it at all. I had walked blocks and hadn’t really noticed a thing. I was far

away and detached from the present moment.

This happens to all of us, all day long. We are doing one thing and thinking about another; or worse yet, we are doing several things all at once and not really paying attention to any of them. We are looking at our phones while eating dinner and watching TV all at the same time. Our society is so full of stimuli that it makes it really hard to focus, be calm and stay grounded.

It’s no wonder many of us have a hard time dealing with life when it becomes difficult.

We aren’t paying attention to it even when it’s going along just fine.

Luckily on my walk I snapped out of it. I realized

physical part of Spirit and the physical aspect of the energy. Begin asking the following questions, recording your answers in your journal: Where do I experience resistance in my body? Am I closing my mind to change? Am I experiencing illness or physical pain? Where do I feel stress? And finally, what would I experience if I let that go or opened my mind?

• Then face West, which represents the emotional aspect. Ask: How am I responding? Am I reacting? What do I feel?

What emotions am I experiencing? And then: what emotion would allow me to flow with this change?

• Next face North, which is the direction of Spirit, the place of inspiration and creation. The questions to ask here are: Am I listening to God? What am I resisting in my

spirit and why? What is God trying to tell me? Finally, if I was working in concert with God, how would my Spirit respond to this challenge or change?

• Lastly, turn to the East, the direction that rules your mind. Propose these questions: Without emotions interfering, what is the rational response? What does common sense say to do? And then ask: If I was facing this choice with a calm and unattached mind, how could I best embrace this change?

If you have gone around the circle once and you have not yet released most of the resistance, do it one more time. This is like peeling an onion — with each turn, a layer of resistance will peel away. The chaos will subside and, eventually, you’ll make friends with it. This is where balance is restored.

It is also where you begin to experience the freedom of letting resistance go, feeling

what I was doing, and even though there was a little pull to keep being lost in my thoughts, I overcame it and looked around.

There are a few things I have found that help me be in the present and ground myself.

The first thing I did is look up. It’s extremely common for people to always be looking down, and in the age of cell phones it’s actually causing back and neck issues in some people. Even without a cell phone, when you are lost in thought and a million miles away, you will naturally be looking somewhat downward.

By looking up, you can break that pattern and re-adjust your brain. It changes the normal view and you will notice

things you normally wouldn’t.

If you look way up, it brings your body into an extension that helps open up your body and your energy flow. People just don’t look up very often.

There’s some cool stuff up there. I recommend it.

The next thing I did to bring myself into the present is I mentally named the things I was seeing as I looked around.

It made me connect to each thing specifically and I began to notice details about my surroundings. Tree, sidewalk, grass, I named them and made a point to notice them and suddenly there I was, back in my body and feeling that nice breeze and basking in the sunshine. This technique is actually good for calming your-

self down if you are feeling upset. Not only does it give your mind something to focus on that’s neutral, it brings you into the present and gives you some space to breathe.

After my inventory I took a moment to do one of the easiest ways to ground: I noticed my feet. I felt them against the ground; I felt the sensation of my shoes and socks as I walked. Then I took it a bit further and extended my energy and awareness past my feet into the Earth. It only took a few seconds, but it totally changed how I was feeling in a positive way.

The truth is, most of the things that upset us are in the past and we are just replaying them in our minds or we are imagining things that might happen in the future. When we take a minute to bring ourselves back into the present, we can focus our attention effectively.

We can’t change the past, no matter how much we want to and the future never really comes. Your attitude: steps to find your center

t’s very easy right now to be depressed, disillusioned and angry — and to focus on all the things that appear wrong and bad.

It’s easy to succumb to the never-ending negative conversations, social media posts, and news. But if all we contemplate are what we fear or dislike, then our lives become out of balance.

We may feel as though we are walking on the edge of a razor, each step cutting us more deeply.

Personally, I spent many days grieving what was happening in the world. I finally realized that I could give my power away to fear and unhappiness or I could find a way to change my outlook.

After all, the only things we really have control over are our perceptions and our attitude.

The first step I took was to change my focus, to begin to concentrate on what was right in our world. There is still so much to love if you spend some time looking for it. Look at the human responses to all the tragedy throughout the world.

So many people sacrifice their own safety, money and health to be where they are needed. This is not necessarily what makes the news, but it is the truth of our world; there are more loving, concerned people than there are selfish, hateful ones. This is an easy truth to forget.

Spectacle and horror are so much more interesting and, therefore, more actively advertised than random acts of loving kindness. Regardless, we must seek out small and large acts of goodness.

To help balance the negative energies, we need to submerge ourselves in all the kindnesses around us, not only through what can be found on the computer, but also what we can observe within our daily environment.

It doesn’t have to be something big or spectacular. Often the smallest acts create the largest vibration. Perhaps the smile given to the homeless man allowed him to feel acknowledged for the first time in months. Be prepared to help your elderly neighbor carry their packages. Pitch in a few dollars so that a young mother can afford to buy something she’s put aside in the grocery line. Notice when someone needs a helping hand and offer it.

Examine how you can expand and nurture that

which is good and loving instead of participating in all the hate. Look for ways you can promote what you love. If you are worried about the environment, then recycle, plant trees, or work in a community garden. Children? Work in a crisis nursery or in a Head Start program. Politics?

Support a candidate you believe in. When you are working to make a difference, your energy changes so that you are feeling different.

Find a passion. It is very difficult to be sad and passionate at the same time. Connect with other passionate people. Join a group that is making a difference in a way that empowers you. As you feel your power grow, your life will feel more balanced and enjoyable.

Become excited about learning and growing.

Ask questions and demand answers. Never stop learning and asking, and when you finally have some answers, teach. It’s amazing how much more you learn when you teach and are answering other people’s hard questions.

And finally, take back your power. Instead of waiting for others to make the changes you would like to see in the world, be the instrument of change. The more you do, the better you will feel and the easier it will be to continue your positive, empowered attitude. When you feel you are contributing more to the world, you will agonize less about what is wrong with it. Through taking back your natural ability to create your own happiness, you will feel that your life is in balance.

We all have the power to create the world we want. It’s when we relinquish our power to others that we allow ourselves to lose our balance, our way, and ultimately our happiness. We are creators living in our creation. If you want a different more compassionate world, let’s work together to create it. that are given during these initiations.

Every individual makes the sacred sound like no one else in the whole universe. Your sound is recognized by the cells of your body, and as you bring that sacred sound forward, as you create the sound, the cells of your body go through a transformation. They begin to open and anchor more of your own light into the cells of your body, into your energetic field, and there is a transmitter in every cell that begins to activate through that sound. It’s like an awakening sound — a key to the door to your Self, to that multidimensional natural state of your Self.

The sacred sound is that key to the door that allows you to come into a new state of being in your life with clarity and understanding, self-healing, self-manifestation.

As that sound begins to transmit out into the universe, you are received and recognized through the universe.

These light initiations are a very powerful, but empowering process. The Pleiadians just simply bring the energy through. They don’t interfere. They just hold the space for you to birth through your Self. It’s you birthing You, which I just love.

Let’s talk about your three events coming up. First is your keynote at the Minneapolis Expo, “The Pineal Gland Activation.” What is this process about and what will people experience?

This is going to be a very empowering process. The Pleiadians will be setting up a multidimensional grid in the room that allows you to rebirth your Self, realign to the sacredness that you are. We will be working through the pineal gland and through the use of sacred sounds.

During the process, the Pleiadians remove veils from the pineal gland and I transmit the light initiation directly into your pineal gland and you bring in the sacred sound into that pineal gland.

You come into an awakening experience.

That process removes seals that have kept people in a restricted and a limited perception of truth. It opens up the inner vision to the Higher Self.

These seals have been in place and have fulfilled their role for us to keep us in that illusion of separation, but during this process the veils of illusion will be lifted and the separation will come to an end. Following the Expo, on November 13-14, you will have a two-day workshop that is described as the first introduction of the Holy Vine initiations to the general public. Tell us about that.

This is going to be a very pure experience.

The Holy Vine initiation energy has been coming onto the planet since April of this year, and it is accelerated with its fluid membrane around the Earth now.

Holy Vine initiations carry a very pure frequency and such a pure frequency of love. We’re going to be setting up a powerful crystal vortex designed by the Pleiadians.

The Holy Vine energy will be interwoven through that vortex, so you will learn to align directly with the pure frequency of love that the Holy Vine energy carries.

It will gently, but powerfully, align you to access your Higher Self. The heart will go through a very deep transformation because we will be aligning to the crystalline platform within the vortex that is holding that very pure frequency of love.

This is going to give you access to a new element of your heart’s desire within the heart. It will activate a natural ability for you to open up to receive your abundance.

We will be working very strongly with the Mother Mary energy of receivership energy. We will be doing a process with Mother Mary in alignment with the crystalline vortex. The heart is going to receive a lot of imprints to expand that activation of the heart’s desire. So, we will be working with manifesting energy.

It’s going to be a very beautiful experience of Mother Mary, the Christ energy, the Pleiadians, and the Holy Vine essence within the crystalline vortex. Following that, on December 2-4, you will lead the three-day Pleiadian seminar, “Higher Realm Initiations.” Have you ever done three events like this so closely together, and how are these three events working together?

I haven’t done this yet, but it feels really like a key time for people to move very quickly in a very new way.

The three-day Pleiadian seminar is like nothing we’ve ever done before. It’s carrying an energy that has not been on the planet before, so I’m going to be very interested in watching the transformation of this. This is unprecedented, the energies that are going to be at this seminar. I feel the events we have just talked about will lead people into coming to this. Wherever you are on your path, this seminar is a destiny call, and it’s leading into reopening the God Consciousness Center within the brain.

This is a totally a new process that will be anchored here in Minneapolis, then in Rio De Janeiro in March, and then in Paris, France, in June to create a new energetic grid on the Earth plane. Those who are coming will be part of anchoring that grid for the transformation of humanity on the planet. It’s actually going to break down some of the separation and illusion on the planet.

I feel it’s going to be life-changing for people who come and life-changing for people on the planet as we anchor this energy, and honestly, I’ve never seen anything like it. We start with transforming the energetic structure of the pineal gland.

It’s almost like we reestablish the original blueprint of the fully opened pineal gland, and then we open a doorway to reopen the God Consciousness Center in the brain.

That gives access to the essence and the energy of what the Pleiadians call The One, which is the full God Consciousness collective energy. This energy is really unprecedented, and I am deeply honored and privileged to be bringing this to whoever chooses to be called.

The biggest message is, and this is from the Pleiadians too, is that we have done an amazing job in our human experience.
