German dentist to lecture on healings of Bruno Groening

r. Ulrich Meyding, D.D.S., Ph.D., of Verden, Germany, will give a series of lectures this month in Duluth and the Twin Cities on a natural, cost-free way to attain help and healing through the Bruno Groening, Dr. Meyding teachings of Bruno Groening.

He will speak at 7 p.m. at all of these events: October 2 at Clyde Iron Works, 2920 W. Dr. Meyding has practiced dentistry and oral surgery for 41 years, working in private practice for the past 36 years. Guided nature hike promotes mindfulness EarthMentor David Nelson will lead a one-of-a-kind nature experience from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 at one of his favorite nature centers in the Twin Cities — Tamarack in White Bear Township — during his only hike of this fall.

Chocolate: a nutrition powerhouse

Several communities are active in Minnesota where deeply impressive healings have occurred. Larry S., 60, of Rosemont, suffered an injury to his knee at age 12 and it led chronic pain. Pure light: a catalyst for evolution A Pleiadian Message

eloved ones, we greet you. The brilliant light from the Holy Vine has been fully cast upon your Earth plane. This has developed a pure container, like an energetic womb, which was fully created during the month of September. The makeup of this container is pure multidimensional light consciousness. This essence has become the catalyst for the evolution, forging a higher consciousness state for all life force energy on your planet.

This pure light has entered the vastness of your heart, and it is recalibrating your energetic settings within all the cells of your physical body. Simultaneously it has opened up into your energetic field, expanding the frequency of the aura.

The aura is now reflecting back to you an energetic realignment of the expanded consciousness state of your Higher Self, mirroring to you your completion energy.

The energetic core of the Earth has gone through a further metamorphosis, which is largely responsible for the increased drama on your planet. Through this infusion of light, the density on the planet is surfacing and accelerating like never before. All that is not Truth is being unveiled. The deepest and the densest energies within mankind are surfacing and being played out on this grand stage of illusion upon your planet.

The depth of the very dense ego nature of man is being revealed. This process is happening between countries worldwide, within individual countries, throughout communities, within your families and through your own relationship with your human self.

This expanded light frequency has impacted your heart space, creating the reopening of a multidimensional space.

This brings to you opportunity for the realignment to a new dimensional access within your heart. This entry point is a destiny opening that has been planned at this very time for the realignment to your original blessed state of being, to your Higher Self guidance.

Your heart is your only true reference point in your life. This is essential for you to recognize, and through a deepening desire to realign to Self, you will be enabled to move into Truth and clarity, bringing to yourself the information that you need to become stable within this upheaval in your day-to-day life in the world.

Through this development of the womb surrounding your planet, you have been repositioned within your multidimensional heart, enabling you to consciously access this “inner guidance system.” You are, by nature, a multidimensional being, however, up to this point in time within your evolution, you have been anchored, almost tethered, to the limitation of your third-dimensional human experience.

Now you are finally able to realign into this other level of your spiritual aspect of Self through this expanded connection within your heart. This process heralds in the beginning of a new conscious path of awakened relationship to your spiritual Self, and it will be the catalyst to developing a new relationship to your human self. This reconnection has always been the plan for the success of this second phase on the planet.

Holy Vine energy Each of you carries unique aspects of the Holy Vine energy within you. During this phase of metamorphosis within your heart, your aspect of the Holy Vine will be reopened within your heart as part of your enlightenment process. Your individual component of the Holy Vine will be made active. As you consciously align to the heart, the form of a seed will be planted within your multidimensional heart. This seed will then germinate and naturally expand your state of consciousness aligning you to your Higher Self.

You will discover your self naturally realigned to your multidimensional purpose here on planet Earth. You will find a new depth of stabilization, moving beyond the third-dimensional drama into the multidimensional experience of Self.

There is a flow that you will be reconnected to, which — in truth — is a natural part of your makeup and this flow is your unique Higher Self. You will experience guidance and receive revelations as you gain mastery within this tool of your heart.

All of humanity is being held within this fluid membrane that has been birthed around the planet. Each individual will shift in accordance to their own personal agenda of where they are on their life path presently. Those of you who are on the path of awakening will automatically begin to source directly through your heart to align and work with your new inner guidance tool.

Your heart will become your greatest stabilizing tool for living now. You will have moments of incredible clarity as you are naturally aligned to Truth and understanding within your day-to-day life. And yes, you will have moments where you find yourself in fear from the ego mind’s insecurity. Know that you are human, and the moments of disconnection from your heart can be expected. However, every time you link into your multidimensional tool of your heart, your cells will reflect Truth, moving away from the anchor of illusion.

With every experience of Truth that you allow within your heart, there will be a breaking down of old patterns that have contributed to keeping you in a separated state and that have been in place for lifetimes.

Enormous change These refined energies that are operating on your planet bring you to a new juncture with your self that has never been before.

You are on the verge of enormous change, standing at the cliff’s edge, ready to fly! You are ready to fly! Opening your wings and  see LIGHT on p. 12

When your soul asks you to pause

by Theresa Nutt I have been following my soul’s quest to go deeper with my self-care in 2017 on this journey of becoming my own beloved.

Specifically, I am on a mission to move completely from my intuition and the call of my heart instead of my mind. I am a driven and striving person who has largely operated from her mind for too many years. This period of my life is calling me to operate from the wisdom of my heart and soul. And on your journey, somewhere along the way, you will all reach a point where your soul asks you to pause.

In our Western society, we are all so tuned into achieving outcomes and constantly producing. And in truth, everything is a cycle of periods of growth and expansion and periods of contraction. We seem to get squeamish when confusion, loneliness, lack of clarity, etc., shows up at our doorstep. And we start to do a number of “spiritual gymnastics” to move through whatever is showing up so we can move on ASAP. You know what I mean — mindset practices, journaling, manifesting practices, etc.

Pema Chodren wisely invites us to rest in the middle instead of moving left or right. Her book, When Things Fall Apart, is the perfect guide for this period in my life. I am taking the time to meet the emptiness in me, the confusion in me, the one wondering who I would be if I wasn’t caring for others all the time in me, and a cast of other parts of my humanity.

Managing when your soul asks you to pause I learned very quickly that my usual mode of operation does not work in this place of pause. Of course, in an attempt to create comfort and security, I brought my usual patterns of behavior and ways of thinking into this place. It’s like having the wrong currency in a foreign country — completely useless!

taking flight into new territory with the vastness of your heart to your Higher Self.

You each get to choose the time of beginning, of making a commitment to access and claim your heart’s internal guidance system.

You decide when you are going to begin to master this inner guidance tool and shift the way you live, to living in the moment within your heart’s guidance — becoming a warrior of your heart!

Remember: “You are who you have been waiting for.”

You have been given the perfect canvas through this new energetic setting. You are able to choose to stabilize within the natural multidimensional space of your Higher Self through the Holy Vine womb that is established. Nothing will be the same in your individual world when you make the commitment to move into your heart’s inner guidance system. There are unlimited numbers of moments for you to choose to forge this path for the connection with your inner guidance system.

Paths of choice There are only two paths of choice: the path of the ego mind or the path of the heart’s inner guidance system. This is a very simple choice and there are no complications within this choice. The ego mind will want you to try and understand this choice and break it down into a series of complicated scenarios, however there is nothing to understand.

Know that the ego mind always has the need to understand everything. And yet, it misinterprets everything that is anchored beyond the third-dimensional illusion. This need of the ego mind to understand is totally overrated and unnecessary. This need to understand is a large part of the ego mind process and prevents you from moving forward. Your ego mind is incapable of understanding anything that arises from your multidimensional heart.

Your pathway is wide open in front of you, a new way for your complete liberation for you to link into your authentic potential. True living is found in the path of the heart. of behavior for working through this phase: • Trust the process implicitly. Forget any notion that this is a mistake or something you have manifested by doing something wrong. Your soul has you here for a reason and you can safely stay open to the process.

• Stop wasting time worrying, wondering or wiggling. Learn to be more present with all of your experience more than ever before. Everything is Divine, no exceptions.

• Consult with your soul as the ultimate wisdom on this journey. Limit interactions with others who don’t get where you are or your journey while you are traversing this tender place. Consult your deep inner wisdom instead of always seeking experts out there.

• Change your drive to try harder in your life to a drive to try harder at resting, restoring and pausing at a deep level. Give that inner driver a new role. How good can you get at pausing, resting, and restoring?

• Let go of all definitions of yourself and all focus on outcomes. Who you are is up in the air. What you will choose to keep is yet to be determined. What you are going to do with your time or life is uncertain. None of that matters in this place of deep pause. You will pick all of these questions up when the time is right — for now, trust this process!

• Start collecting things and experiences that bring you joy and light you up for no apparent reason. If this were the last three months of your life, how would you spend your time?

• Get back to basics. Eat when you are hungry. Drink a lot of clean fluids. Spend time in nature. Fill your heart with the people you love in doses that feel right to you. Rest when you are tired. Dr. John, you will be speaking on parallel universes and the Mandela Effect at the Minneapolis Holistic Expo. In brief, what does Mandela Effect mean?

It seems that something strange has been going on in our world. Our past history may be changing from the way we remember it. Is this caused by poor memory, or a psychological mechanism, or does our mind distort or incorrectly remember what really happened? Or is something physically, something real changing our past history in our universe? Is our past history

really changing the way we remember it?

This idea of our past history changing came to national attention when people started feeling and believing that Nelson Mandela, the former President of South Africa, died in the 1980s while he was still in prison. Thousands of people swear that he died around this time and, in fact, recall seeing his funeral on TV. But he didn’t die in the 1980s but in 2013, long after he was released from prison. So this phenomenon was named after Nelson Mandela because of the widespread belief in his death in prison by so many.

Was your personal memory different than the actual fact that Nelson Mandela died in 2013?

Yes, definitely, I could swear I remember news that he died in prison in the ’80s, and it was kind of shocking when I came across the fact that this was not true and that he died in 2013. So, yes, my memory was different than what is actually written in our current history.

Why did you research the Mandela Effect?

At first, I didn’t think much of this. I am not a big news person, so I just chalked it up to a bad memory or maybe I was thinking of someone else who was famous that died in prison. But when I found out that when Snow White looked into the mirror  see mandela effect on p. 25

and our current history does not say she said “Mirror Mirror on the Wall,” but now “Magic Mirror on the Wall,” I said, “Wait. I am sure ‘magic’ was not in the original as I remembered it as a kid.” So I started to look into this. There are many other examples, which I will discuss in my talk — even one from the Star Wars movie. Once I got hooked on this phenomenon, I wanted to find out what the heck was going on.

Some say the Mandela Effect is a case of collective false memory. How much research did you do on the Mandela Effect and what did you learn from your research?

Yes, that is one possibility and the most likely one that I first thought of. I also read about many other psychological explanations and reasons for this mistake in our memory. Many psychological explanations were convincing, but I started to discover one example after another of our past history changing. I started talking to people and asking them about it, and I was shocked at the number of people who had a different memory of numerous events, and the different memory was always the same.

For example, I didn’t hear of a different phrase for Snow White. If psychological explanations were the reason for the different history memories, there should be more variety of past history for each event, but there wasn’t. So, this got up my interest even more.

What connection is there between the Mandela Effect and parallel universes?

I looked up on the internet some of the other reasons for this phenomenon, and the parallel universe explanation was used by almost everyone who believed in the Mandela Effect. So, I drew up graphs, diagrams, did some simple math, and after studying this and consulting with other colleagues, most of whom thought it was purely psychological, I came to the conclusion this may be part of the explanation but not all of it.

There were too many anomalies that didn’t fit this explanation. The most obvious one is why didn’t everyone experience the change in history and then no one would even be aware of what happened?

This bothered me, and I felt this parallel universe explanation did not answer all the questions. Also, in any theory, you would expect it to answer other types of phenomena that you may not have questioned.

As a man of science, what evidence is there that parallel universes exist and how do they affect our everyday lives?

When I started preparing my talk from

my initial research, I made up diagrams, graphs, etc., based on the parallel universe explanation, because like you say, as a man of science, a biophysicist, this was a plausible hypothesis even though it didn’t resolve many issues and global questions I had about it. But it seemed the best theory so far, so I improved on what was out there since I noticed many who proposed this parallel universe idea were not scientists, and I wanted to have a detailed scientific description of this.

One of my main interests in physics is super string theory, which postulates the existence of many additional spatial dimensions, so this idea of parallel universes does have a counterpart in ideas in physics. But again, I was plagued by it not explaining certain phenomena if this hypothesis was true.

So, I brought this up to one of my best friends and research colleagues whom I have been working with for some time. We have been trying to decode the Voynich Manuscript (an illustrated codex handwritten in an unknown writing system) and think we figured out what the illustrations may represent — but again, this is preliminary and we want to finish our research before we publish or announce anything.

Also, we have been working on trying to decode ancient magical tables written by Dr. John Dee in the 16th century. These have never been decoded and we think we have for some of these.

The person with whom I have been working is James Westwood, a former top National Security Agency cryptologist who also may have been the first to suggest, back in 1985, for the U.S. to look into getting into cyber warfare. He called it “Cyber-Battle” at the time, but that name never took and today it is called cyber war.

So you can see he is a brilliant man. He was a Lt. Commander in the Navy and did much intelligence research.

He started to research this with me and we came up with a different model, which I will be discussing in my talk. It may explain the data more accurately. I still have more research to do before my talk, so I will wait to discuss this, as each day we are exploring more ideas and theories. But I will give you a hint. It has to do with a holographic theory of our universe, which has been also proposed, but this one explains the Mandala Effect and takes into account certain things other theories do not.

Why are feelings that time is speeding up and an increasing experience of déjà vu connected to what we are talking about?

It takes diagrams and graphs and some math to explain this but my theory does take this into account and proposes why we feel time is speeding up and why déjà vu is occurring more frequently — and the

Mandela Effect could be the cause. I will go over this with my diagrams and graphs during my talk to try to make it very clear why the Mandela Effect could explain these phenomena.

You have conducted research on the pyramids, the Dead Sea Scrolls, ancient crystal skulls and the Shroud of Turin. What areas of inquiry are you still excited about exploring in the near future, and why?

One of my other best friends whom I have known for decades is Joe Paolella, a former Secret Service Agent to three U.S. presidents, including JFK. After the JFK assassination, Joe was assigned to guard the Presidential limousine. He was alone in the White House garage with it and noticed a bullet hole in the front windshield that penetrated right through it. This was not reported in the Warren Commission report.

Joe never told anyone about this for over 40 years except me, and several years ago I asked him if he wanted to go public and he said yes. He came on my radio show and we discussed it.

I will talk about this at my talk, as the JFK assassination interests many people and new documents about it will be released this fall. We have been doing extensive research on this and Joe is coming out with his first book on his life as a Secret Service agent and the Kennedy Assassination — and, of course, our research on the bullet hole. This is one of my projects, and I am also continuing to work with James Westwood on decoding ancient magical texts and the Voynich Manuscript.

Thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Is there anything you’d like share with our readers that we haven’t spoken about?

Depending on the time I have left for my talk, I would like to take questions. I also want to have a short meditation workshop at the end. I will teach everyone a simple meditation technique, and then I can answer questions about it. Depending on how much time is available, I usually like to have something in my talk of practical spiritual value that you can take home and apply to your spiritual lives.

I love being part of the Edge Life Expos and have been involved for the last five years. It is the best one in the country in my opinion and I am honored to be part of it.

Why I am vegan

by Barbara Rose My idea of living with a vegan lifestyle is that I don’t consume any dairy or animal products. As someone once said, “If it has a face or a mother, I don’t eat or drink it.” We can eat healthy without having to sacrifice any animal’s life.

Instead of saying “I’m a vegan,” I like to proclaim that “my life consists of a vegan diet,” because that it isn’t labeling who I am as a person.

I do take a B-12 supplement, as I feel this is necessary to have a healthy, functioning body.

It’s amazing that there is such a wide variety of foods available to satisfy my love of variety — from fruits to vegetables to grains and nuts and seeds. I enjoy visiting co-ops and natural food stores to see what’s available.

I believe I’m helping the environment by having this type of diet. I encourage you to check it out and see if making even a slight change would alter your happiness and health for the better. After all, the choice should be yours! Enjoy the healthy things you already are implementing and look forward to exploring and experimenting!

Our world as a soup bowl

A

battle of comments ensued under my recent Facebook posting: Hate crimes got you down?! If you still eat meat, then you are part of the problem. My vegan friends understood the post and added supportive comments. But my meat-eating friends were insulted and confused by this post; several of them demanded an explanation.

This controversial posting stemmed from my knowledge of one of the 12 “Universal Laws” — The Law of Divine Oneness. This law states that in our world, everything is connected to everything else. This means that every individual thought, word, action and belief affects every other living being in the universe. Proof and theory for this phenomenon are provided by the principles of quantum physics. But an easier way to explain this law is to view the world as one giant soup bowl of energy. Everything an individual chooses to do with his/her mind and body affects the essence of the soup in the bowl. At any given moment, you are affecting the bowl of soup. At any given moment, are you adding kindness and love to the world or are you adding cruelty to the world?

We all contribute to cruelty in the world: even the smallest judgmental thought against another has a negative impact on the bowl of soup. The point of my Facebook post was not that meat-eaters are the only problem, but to bring about awareness that eating meat is one way that cruelty is being promoted in the universe. In the meat industry, cruelty, suffering and inhumane conditions are the norm in factory farms, the animal transportation system, and the slaughterhouses.

To bring awareness to this, videos and stories of the meat industry need to be viewed and told.

Many such videos and stories are available on the internet. One such story is retold in the following paragraph — a true story and a typical story from the meat industry where it is common for

animals to arrive at the slaughterhouse unhealthy and no longer able to walk.

They are called “downers” in the industry.

Inside a truck at a stockyard, a cow that could no longer walk was subjected to the customary electric prods in the ear canals. When this failed to get her up on her feet, the stockyard workers beat and kicked her. When that failed, they tied a rope around her neck, tied the other end to a pole in the ground, and drove the truck away. This resulted in the cow lying on the ground with a broken pelvis and broken legs.

She cried out for three hours. Periodically, after urinating or defecating, she used her front legs to pull herself forward to a clean spot.

A witness finally called the police. The witness was eventually told that if she left, stockyard personnel would euthanize the cow. The witness left and returned an hour and a half later to find a deserted stockyard and three dogs attacking the cow, which was still alive. The witness attempted to utilize the police a second time. A police officer was willing to shoot the cow but the vets at the facility would not allow it because it would destroy her meat. Finally, after seven hours after the cow was yanked from the truck, a butcher arrived and shot the cow. Her body was purchased for $307.50. Her meat was sold in grocery stores to humans.

If you wonder how you can help to stop cruelty in our world, you could stop eating meat. If you want more kindness in the world, put it there.

Not missing the meat at all

id I ever imagine I would become a tree hugger?

Someone who talks about energy and stuff? A person who considers disease your body’s way of communicating discord? Ten years ago, never in a million years.

Did I ever really like eating meat? Meh, I suppose bacon and sausage or casserole with gobs of cheese on top, sure. But put a hamburger in front of me, I almost always felt a bit queasy trying to force down a dried patty, I had to flush it down with lots of water.

I suppose I evolved to plant-based eating more gradually than some. I never really set out to cut out meat all together. I just remembered watching a Netflix documentary on the benefits of juicing, and thought I’d benefit from upping my nutritional intake by flooding my system with good stuff. And eventually the good stuff started tasting better than the meat I was adding into it. So I just flipped, and told myself, “Well, beans might taste just as good as a replacement.” And there you have it.

Along the way I had a couple of nudges, as well. A vegan friend popped in to talk about all the benefits she saw from switching.

And I had a really strange dream about what really goes into a hotdog, from beginning to end. And then I read a strange line from a book about an alien abductee. As the aliens were sending her back to Earth (which she didn’t want to do, she said to her alien friend, “Please don’t send me back there. It’s horrible and they eat their animals.” I’m not sure why this stuck with me so much, but that was the same week as the hotdog dream.

To be honest, I feel like the hardest part of my transition was to move through the awkward conversations with people who offer you meatballs and you kindly say, “I’m sorry but I don’t eat meat anymore.” Most people are curious, some are miffed, some don’t comment at all, although I’m sure they do to someone, at some point.

I just reached my one-year mark in August and I can’t say I’ve missed meat much. The biggest struggle has been the vegetable dishes I make. They are so good that I eat a lot more than I need, so portion control is a part of my process. What benefits did I see once I finally switched over? I started to realize that we don’t really question the standard much.

I asked my husband (still a meat eater) the other day, “Would you eat horse meat?”

He replied, “Meh, I don’t know, maybe I’d try it.”

Huh? So I asked, “Would you eat cat meat?”

“Oh no,” he said. “That’s disgusting.”

Really? Hmm. Who decided cows are better tasting than cats?

I’ve noticed that I feel lighter when I don’t eat meat. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to take four hours to digest a meal. And I haven’t noticed that it’s been too difficult to work around external occasions where other food is served. If I know beforehand there won’t be much for choices, I’ll pre-eat.

I’ve never been the type of person to push my ideals onto other people, not even those with whom I live — and I don’t for plantbased eating either — although I do encourage my children to eat more fruits and veggies, and they do really like them when I make them readily available. I try to inspire though my recipes.

I am often taking pictures of what I make with recipes and posting them on my Instagram account. I’ve actually heard a couple folks say they do feel motivated to eat better by what I post.

Hopefully, you’ve resonated with things I’ve said here, or at the very least, recognize that it’s not as hard as you think it is. And if you don’t feel all in, then just try meatless Mondays and pay attention to what you notice.

Conscious Consumerism Making responsible choices as we ascend

A

n incredible amount of evidence exists for the support of a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle. We could go into living a life free of animal cruelty, the health aspect, or the humanitarian route. We could also spend time going over how vegetarian/vegan lifestyles are far more sustainable for our earth, and how we could feed more starving people considering over 70 percent of the world’s grain goes towards food for animals that are pumped full of hormones, antibiotics, and other chemicals.

I will be scraping the surface of some of these topics, but the focus of this article will be on “conscious consumerism,” whether you are raw vegan or eat meat at every meal.

As we continue to ascend our frequency and vibration, the less tolerant our bodies will be consuming and digesting nonwhole foods. This is especially true when consuming the meat of animals, and specifically animals not raised and slaughtered humanely. The negative karma and negative energy will eventually cause more obvious issues, especially for people who are sensitive to energy.

I have already noticed this in myself, as well as my clients. I regularly convey the message that they have pre-existing conditions that could be helped, or even cured, by eliminating animal products from their diet. This is especially true for anyone that is trying to become “in tune” with spiritual/ psychic gifts. How we consume and what we consume matters, and we will be held more spiritually accountable. It starts with you and your choices. It starts locally, it starts at home and in your own back yard.

This is a lifestyle choice. When I met my fiancé, I was heading down the road of raw veganism, studying it, practicing it,

working in a raw-vegan kitchen and seeing it being how I lived my future. Meeting my chef fiancée changed that, as his cooking is often incredibly meat focused.

I come from a traditional cooking background as a former chef, and my family eats like traditional Midwesterners, meat and potatoes. I understand the challenges with living this lifestyle in the Midwest.

It’s not about perfection, it’s about making conscious choices out of love. As my goal is to get back to raw-veganism someday, I make choices one meal at a time.

Here are some tips that are easy and realistic for changing how you eat: • Buy locally and buy seasonal foods.

Shop at farmer’s markets, local farms, and places that purchase from local small, sustainable businesses, such as co-ops.

Many farmers cannot afford to have the “organic” label, but still practice organic methods. Some of these farms will even deliver to your front door.

• Eat at restaurants that make it their

practice to purchase from local farmers that farm sustainably. The “farm to table” trend among Twin Cities establishments is growing. By supporting them, you support green living.

• When buying meat, do your homework. Buy from farmers who make it a point to humanely raise and slaughter their animals. Grass-fed, pasture-raised/ free-range animals are never fed grain, soy, by-products, hormones, antibiotics or chemicals. Steer clear of factory farms and huge companies.

Plenty of resources are available online for finding merchants. Many sell from their farms, not grocery stores, which makes their prices comparable to the big stores.

Sometimes the meat is more expensive.

Grass-fed beef is expensive because it takes more land area to feed a single cow. It’s worth it. The meat is clean, tastes better, and the energy is a lot less toxic.

My fiancé and I purchased a pig from a farmer who only raises three animals at time. Their animals have names, are treated as pets and are fed vegetables from the garden, and they are slaughtered on the property quickly without suffering. When I do eat meat, this is the meat I eat. It costs us about $3 per pound. It’s doable for everyone with the right research.

Ultimately, it comes down to how you choose to live your life. By consciously choosing where you spend your money, what you support and what you consume, you make a big statement. You make a huge impact by small choices; your shift will make a difference — not only in your own life, spiritually and physically, but in the world around you.
