HOPE IN HARD TIMES

AS WE LOOK OUT INTO our current pandemic-focused world, perhaps it is difficult to imagine or even to hope for a better future. So much is uncertain, and yet it is in this time and space that it is imperative to bring forth the light, love and happiness that is within us in order to create a new world.

Sometimes it is easier to be complacent and even to sleep walk through life, as if we no longer have a choice about our now and our future. But when we do this, we are wrong. In fact, each second that we are “giving up,” we are actually killing what is holy and precious within us. Don’t do this.

Don’t kill what is holy and precious within you.

Each moment that we choose to acknowledge the Divine and to envision a better future, we are able to become co-creators of this better world, this new world. In order to become co-creators of a new, better world, we need to be good people. We need to be good men and good women who honor and respect others and our Earth, who forgive all things, who learn from others and who want to help others without expecting anything in return.

Right now we have been given the time and space to be with our families and loved ones and to clearly cherish one another. Perhaps that is one gift of this pandemic time. Another gift is now that most of us are not on our daily work and school-life treadmills, we can step back and look at what is working and what is not working in our lives. Do this.

Take this time to acknowledge the good in your lives and in each other. Magnify this good through mutual admiration.

Take this time to accept what is not good and not working in your lives and to change it. If you notice a fault in someone else, let it go and then examine yourself and how you manifest this same shortcoming. Once you can see yourself and know yourself in this way, change yourself.

Let us heed the advice of the Cherokee legend described in Colin Fry’s book, By Your Side.

“A Cherokee chief is talking to his grandson. “‘We all have a great battle going on inside us,’ he told the boy. ‘It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil — he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is good — he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.’

“The elder went on and told the boy that this fight was going on inside him right now. And it would continue all his life. The little boy sat thoughtfully for a moment then turned to ask his grandfather a question. “‘Which wolf will win?’ he said.

“The Cherokee chief smiled at him and said simply: ‘The one you feed.’”

Start feeding the good wolf inside of you. Some call the good wolf your Buddha nature. Some call the good wolf your Christ-self. By whatever name you call the good wolf in you, focus your energies on sustaining it, on nurturing it, on allowing it to flourish. The more we focus on good and on being good, the more it multiplies.

This is the universal law of cause and effect.

Not everyone is a visionary or a leader, but everyone can be good. Everyone can be holy. Everyone can begin today to create a new world of hope, of joy, of loving-kindness, of forgiveness, of peace.

It is easy to believe our actions and beliefs are small and will not impact anyone else. Frankly, impacting and transforming your life is a holy miracle in itself. Know this. In addition, your actions and your beliefs resonate throughout the world. Notice how one gust of wind moves the trees, the leaves, the clouds. Notice how the bright sunrise warms our hearts,

warms our Earth, makes life possible.

Notice how the rain showers nourish and cleanse the Earth and ourselves. Notice how a smile and a wave to a stranger or a loved one transforms your day. Notice how taking out the garbage makes your world cleaner. Notice how receiving a dog’s wagging tail or a child’s smile, or approval from a colleague, makes your day brighter.

You may not realize the impact you make in the world or how your sunshine brings light to others’ lives. This is because we don’t always share that kind of information with one another. That means you will have to just trust and have faith that your goodness matters. And if you need proof as to how much you matter, go back to noticing how blessed you are by others’ goodness and mirror that blessing back to your heart.

We have this amazing holy opportunity right now to bring forth a new world that is not corrupt, that is not abusive, that is not evil. The only way to do this is to be just and honest, to respect and honor everyone, to be good women and good men. Our lives depend on our living our goodness. The future of our world, the future of our children’s and grandchildren’s world, depends on our willingness to be the grand, holy, good people we were always meant to be. Know this.

In Memorial – Ruth Stricker March 12, 1935 - April 14, 2020

Ruth Stricker of Deephaven, Minn., founder of The Marsh, A Center for Balance and Fitness in Minnetonka and an industry icon and pioneer in mind-body work, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2020.

Connected in love and gratitude for her immeasurable contributions over the course of a remarkable life, Ruth’s family, friends and professional colleagues around the world honor this visionary of the health and wellness industry.

She integrated Eastern and Western practices in her personal and professional life; her philosophy offered a “liberal arts approach to health.”

In Ruth’s words, “The resiliency of the human spirit makes it possible for us to find a sense of well-being in our lives...that our challenge is to be emotionally resilient and physically healthy to handle change and stress.” Ruth believed “health and fitness are not the chief goal in life but rather the potential to be good citizens of the Earth.”

She gave of her energy

and resources to diverse local and national organizations, including her alma mater Macalester College, the International Spa Association, Abbott Northwestern Hospital, the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, the University of Minnesota Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing, the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA), and many other causes that spoke to her.

Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bruce B. Dayton, and her parents Eleanor and Peter DeBeer, and she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kim and Bob Griffin; grandchildren Grace and Jack; son Mark Stricker; brother and sister-in-law Paul and Kathleen DeBeer; former spouse David Stricker; and her ever-faithful yellow lab, Beau.

Amidst the Chaos, a Divine Light Alters Our Consciousness A Pleiadian Message

BY CHRISTINE DAY BELOVED ONES, we greet you. The wheel turned and the winds of change entered your Earth’s atmosphere. This energy that has created a mirage began to flow outwards across your planet, gradually touching all of humanity. The essence of this flow moves and continues to spread its tentacles rapidly throughout your societies.

This happening heralds a destiny moment that will forever shift the landscape within your communities, and it has begun to dramatically alter the energetic framework that has held the frequency of illusion firmly in place on your Earth plane for lifetimes.

The majority of you are taking a huge next step forward here on Earth — and some of you will take your next step forward by exiting this Earth plane. In reality, there is no such thing as death. Some of you are leaving this incarnation to move on to new pathways, as all is in Divine order. This may not seem to be the truth within the framework of illusion, however within your own heart you can find peace and the rightness of this time as it unfolds.

As you have entered this timeframe of complete global chaos, as this viral-like energy continues to expand, simultaneously a highly transforming higher resonance of light is opening and being set in motion. This Divine light is creating a complete multidimensional energetic reset within your Earth plane to create a much needed, lasting change of altered consciousness on the planet.

Further revelations are to be unearthed on the planet in the months to come. Do not be afraid or disturbed by what you witness. This is a necessary dynamic reset that is in motion to create the necessary shifts. Humanity as a whole is transiting through a huge transmutation on a worldwide scale, which is essential to the planet’s ultimate success to move into a new era of awakening. Many illusions are being actively shattered within your societies and your day-to-day lives to create this essential change.

We, the Pleiadians, alongside the rest of the universal community and the spiritual realms, hold the doorway open, creating stability for you to navigate through and reunite within Truth.

higher realms are becoming easier for you to access. A series of transmissions of pure forms of light are coming onto the Earth plane to build a redesigned network to expand the vortexes and grids throughout the planet. Yes, this is part of the accelerated galactic activity that many people are witnessing within the night sky. They are playing their role to actively engage and support this acceleration, initiating a deepening anchor of these necessary energetic changes within the grids on the Earth plane to enable this transition. This is a profound time of change.

Early in April Venus aligned with the Pleiades and just a few days later a Jupiter/ Pluto conjunction took place, resulting in the birthing of another higher realm gateway, which is currently interacting energetically within a gateway that opened in January 2020 in Uluru, Australia.

This gateway allows you, and all of humanity, to begin another aspect of your individual journey. This is an initiation passage that allows you to reenter a multidimensional process of your reawakening by taking a leap forward, reconnecting with your higher dimensional consciousness through the utilization of this light. It gives you a re-access point to an expanded pathway into your multidimensional heart frequency.

Understand that the process that is now underway is geared towards completely shattering the dimensional realm of illusion that has been anchored on your planet. A releasing of the density throughout your Earth has been taking place to enable you to re-enter an alternate time continuum.

This access will allow greater change to unfold within your consciousness. Literally, you will be untethered to any aspect of the illusion and enabled to reestablish a stabilized connection to the higher realm reality settings of Truth, which exists beyond the illusion timeline.

ENERGETIC TERRAIN Current transmissions are coming directly from us, the Pleaidians, to prepare and support all of you in actively and consciously launching yourself into this alternate energetic terrain. Over the coming months you will transit through many veils of illusion to re-enter multidimensional realms of existence. This will open you into a further understanding of your sacred nature within higher consciousness states. At this time you are being asked to open into conscious moments of stillness. Simply BE — and take

conscious ownership of your heart. Let go in these moments and witness your own unfolding within this higher spectrum of communion that can exist for you within, as you still yourself.

You can begin to actively receive this higher light flow connection as you utilize the conscious breath — in through the mouth and out through the mouth. The breath opens you to receive direct transmissions from the gateway, allowing the expanded flow to move directly within your heart. Conscious action by you can begin to fulfill another level of the prophecy of your self-realization, which is being made possible at this destiny moment for all humans who choose this path.

Vast higher opportunities are being made available to each one of you as you are being given passage into this other access point to the higher realms through the heart into these gateway frequencies.

These openings are designed to move you beyond the current illusion here on Earth, realigning your consciousness to alternate multidimensional realities of your higher nature.

The intentions you set in place for yourself within this higher realm setting are vitally important right now. We wish to remind you that your intensions set in motion a higher flow of potential as they engage within the light from the gateway.

The frequency created by your intention is much more potent because the higher realm flow is reactive to your conscious intent as you open into your heart. Fully utilize this time, which is filled with unlimited possibilities of unfoldment for you.

LIVES UPENDED The third-dimensional picture is dire according to the limited perception of the ego mind. Your lives are being upended on so many levels, including your deeply imbedded fear on a financial level. Loss of finances accelerates the fear of the ego mind. These feelings of “not knowing” are designed to create confusion and disorientation to the ego mind.

This happening is allowing you to work from another aspect of your sacred potential, because the ego mind is compromised by being “out of control.” You can more easily navigate your reconnection to the higher realms while the ego mind is in this confused state.

Instead of reacting to the ego mind, enter your heart — and connect to the higher realms via your heart. This is a time

for radical change within you. At this juncture you can take advantage of these unique sets of circumstances and set in motion this greater potential to realign within the natural sacred aspect of yourself. Through this disarmament of your ego mind, you are being given the grace to utilize and channel this powerful frequency of dimensional light.

Your ego mind will have moments of feeling the fear and struggle associated by the changes taking place in your life right now. In those moments of feeling out of control, choose to utilize the conscious breath and simply let go.

This will set in motion a reconnection to your heart. Choose to move yourself past the illusion of lack, fear or struggle by aligning within your heart and connecting into another space of being.

RESURRECTION This is a self-resurrection process. A resurrection will occur within you as you continuously utilize the conscious breath. Open into your heart and utilize these opportunities as they arise by creating conscious, sacred moments to reconnect with yourself.

Work to actively let go as you deal with the “seeming reality” of your changed lifestyle.

Navigate yourself away from the drama, and away from the stories perpetuated by your ego mind, by taking action with the conscious breath within your heart. You get to create a new way of being as you make conscious change within you.

This is achieved one moment at a time, step by step.

Do not look for perfection — simply moments of conscious change in your reaction by taking a different action in the moment compared to your ego mind’s response of your fear or struggle.

Know that you are not alone. Open up and call forward the energetic help that you require now. Open up to what you need and be specific; be detailed in what you ask for. Play your role in this process by holding steady within your heart as you ask for this help. Remember the power of setting in motion the flow associated with your intentions and heart’s desire. You will need to continue to create moments of stillness, consciously building a solid communion within your heart to the higher realm aspect of Self.

Utilize the new format that your life has taken right now. These changes in routine create openings of opportunity for your transition.

You can create a series of perfect moments of experience that you need for your next steps of awakening and receive that which is necessary for your livelihood.

You hold the keys to the multidimensional doorways that make up your heart. This is the time to create moments of reconnection within your heart to enable this transmutation process to unfold. This is a powerful time for each one of you to reunite into a series of higher consciousness reality settings while your ego mind is distracted and reeling.

You are being called to set in motion another

step of your destiny, through a reunion with your higher nature. This is the time to begin to reopen and align consciously to your God light.

Your conscious breath will play a key role in your process. This breath is a powerful tool to navigate entry within your heart.

LIGHT OF COMMUNION This is your journey. Be committed to the birthing moments within your sacred heart and allow a communion to grow between you and others within your communities. Be focused on building the light and holding this light of communion between your collective hearts to shine brightly across your Earth.

This is the time to join with others energetically to form a higher order of communion within your communities. This is the time for you to allow a further birthing within your community and to reveal your unique light within your heart to others within a higher framework. Take the time to set in motion a coming together in a conscious state of union on a regular basis. You are able to form a series of communion lines between the hearts of two or more persons.

Collectively, as conscious communities, you align in communion — and you will make the difference for all of humanity. This is a destiny call. Those of you who are on the path are to bring your Earth plane to another place of consciousness. This can be achieved through your direct conscious action of agreement, by coming together energetically.

Find a common physical location in which to focus, perhaps a sanctuary in a meeting place, or a space in someone’s home. A physical focus point needs to be established where everyone can meet energetically. First, connect through your physical heart space before moving your awareness to the location where you will meet in communion. Then, open your awareness and allow the building of your group communion.

Set a time to begin and end this communion.

There should be no personal ego-mind-orientated goal associated with this energetic communion meeting, simply the process of the blending of consciousness within your combined hearts.

This action creates a perfect frequency to create a network of unique Divine light between you.

This network frequency is required to support the further opening and anchoring of the higher realm alternate reality dimensions on your Earth plane.

BY HEATHER ROAN ROBBINS MAY BRINGS FLOWERS, baby animals populate the woods and our gardens sprout whatever we’ve planted — whether that’s discord and weeds or healthy food and healing herbs. Let’s look carefully at our actual and metaphorical gardens, notice what we’ve planted and nurtured, weed what needs weeding, and garden our health and that of our community in this time of pandemic. May we have the bravery of flowers blooming through burnt fields.

Jupiter conjuncts Pluto on and off all this year and keeps the stakes high, reminding us to drop triviality and have a good answer for why we are alive. We cannot say why this happened, but we can ask how we make this time useful.

The sun, Mercury and Uranus all start May in earthy, fertile Taurus. On May 9-10, the sun and Mercury trine Jupiter and Saturn, which supports across-the-aisle collaboration and may offer new information about these great challenges.

May 10-14 Saturn, Venus and Jupiter turn retrograde. We need to keep our hearts open. For the next few months, we review what we’ve learned since 2020 began.

Mercury joins Venus in Gemini on May 11, the sun follows May 20, and we need to talk. Communication becomes a saving grace. Let’s get creative with it through the Internet, letters, meditation and shared psychic work.

Simplify: A New Vision BOB HILLARY IT’S TIME TO START envisioning a better future for ourselves. Creating it with our minds and then stepping into it. It’s going to require some pretty badass pioneers and some pretty creative thinking, but it’s perfectly doable, and SO needed.

It’s about creating eco-villages, eco-towns, communities and transition towns all over the world that are interconnected, supporting each other in new ways of doing things, and with new and fairer ways of trading with each other. New models will be based on a new consciousness, rather than the old consciousness of lack and the “there’s not enough” belief. There is more than enough — if we all take only what we need.

One thing I’m seeing on my travels around the world is that when you let humans relax and recharge for long enough, our true nature starts to emerge.

the stresses and strains that keep people in “survival” mode in life, something really quite beautiful starts to happen: their true kindness starts to shine through. People begin to engage with each other, collaborate, communicate and start to trust one another again.

Basically, we start returning to our original nature.

I’m seeing more and more people stepping out of the old system these days — hoards of people in fact, people who are bored with the old program and who are exploring new ways of living where fear doesn’t rule the day — love does.

Everything will be different in the future. The way we do things — the way we treat each other, the way we interact, the way we trade, the way we work — will and is changing from ego consciousness to a new global “heart” consciousness, from being about “I” to being about “WE.” When we make decisions from the heart — well, things just work out better for everyone.

Did you get any information about why this virus came in the first place?

Yes, I learned a lot about of things through this crisis and one of them is about the flesh body of our soul. That’s what you see when you look in the mirror. It’s of the Earth as much as an amoeba or an earthworm, and when your life force checks out of it, it goes back to the Earth. Human is an actual band of consciousness that we call belief.

There are problems with belief consciousness. One is the consciousness of separation. It’s what separates people from one another in their religions, in gender and race, but it also separates humanity from its Divine Source. It makes them think God is somewhere they are not, like on the other side of the clouds in Heaven — and that moves your light outside of you and that’s why people cast a shadow. It also makes you vulnerable to a whole list of Earth pathogens of bacterial and viral nature, because the flesh body of your soul cannot be protected when it’s disconnected from its Divine Source.

What effect does the Holy Divine healing that you offer have on the virus?

If I have worked on a person a couple of times and they’re into the Ascension Ladder — making it up through the Christ Matrix grid connections — their cosmic being activates and it has tools to be utilized on our human expressions that are problematic. They are raised up to the cosmic level where they’re holy and Divine, and this will lift them out of the range of vulnerability.

That means that each of us has the potential to return to where we came, right?

Yes, exactly. I’ve never seen a person that didn’t. Overcoming your human condition of belief consciousness and having a negative ego to contend with is the challenge for every person. It’s about getting those components that are so foul and against the Divine flow of life and their negative expression back into their holy order of a positive expression. The ego body of the human will go from giving out fear, pain and punishment until your soul vessel gets healed and you return to your holy order, then it gives you appreciation, approval and acceptance. The big difference is consciousness. When you’re disconnected from Divine Source, you only have the consciousness of programming from the authority of your outer world. That’s how it starts for everybody as a child. The big people in your life — your mom or dad or religion or school teachers, the authorities of your life — wind up programming your belief process. Belief is our opinion about what we don’t have knowing of.

The key is to move everything from belief to knowing?

That’s right, and only ones connected to our inner holiness know what that direction is, and that’s my gift. I have a gift to serve others by doing the will of their inner holiness for them. It’s a perfect expression of the parable of Christ Consciousness, and that’s what I advocate for all people to do as a method of handling their problems, worries and concerns.

What actually takes place during a Holy Divine Healing?

First, I say a little prayer something like, “This session is orchestrated by the Living Holiness that beats Tim’s heart, that then is a servant with the Christed Consciousness.”

Then, there are four questions I ask, and

When Dr. Mathews was on “the other side,” he was given the message that the primary reason for our existence was to learn to trust our Indwelling Holiness, which is to live in trust, to live in Christ Consciousness. This is the prayer that Dan was provided to share with others.

If you say it daily upon rising, it can change your life for the better in as short a time as two weeks.

Christ Consciousness Prayer Indwelling Holiness that Beats my Heart, I accept all issues in my life as my own and I forgive myself for all negative experiences and any harm caused.

I now surrender all worries, problems and concerns in my life to you as I yield to your will in my life.

I take my next step in trusting you without having to understand what is around the next corner.

I ask you for guidance. Please show me the way. when I get a “yes” on all four of them, I’ll proceed on and receive information from the person’s Indwelling Holiness on what we need to work on.

I never have a clue until it tells us, and then we’re off to doing it.

How has the pandemic affected your work with Holy Divine Healing?

Well, if my readings were correct and the virus is off the planet, the numbers will show that.

There’ll be a sharp decline.

I had to cut my Texas trip in March two days short because I didn’t want to take a chance on exposing my hostesses, who are elderly people with health issues. So, I came on home and I’ve been doing work with lots of people over the phone. I’m really thankful that this works just as good over the phone as it does in person.

We took the final step of the zenith of the Ascension Ladder in Texas in March in my three group healings. We now have Goddess Consciousness integrated into the hard drive of the Earth grid for humanity and for the Earth.

The higher up the Ascension Ladder we go, the deeper our shadow is purged, and the latest group healings purged the deepest depth of the shadow, which is death and fear. Fear of death is the depth of our shadow and this coronavirus was the catalyst to purge that out of the world — and it has done a very good job of that. In the bigger picture of life, that was its purpose, to purge the fear of death out of people.

As you know, it’s not fun to purge, but it was very necessary in order for the new Holy O Earth — which will take the place of the downfall world in a few more years — to be purer. You have to lance an abscess to get a wound to heal. That’s what this purge really has been about.

We’ve had a global purging of the shadow through this pandemic.

Exactly. Once we get on the other side of this a little bit, people on the cutting edge of higher consciousness will have an awakening that the

Kingdom of God is within them — and it is their inner Divinity. That will bring their light back inside of them and they’ll no longer cast a shadow. Belief consciousness makes people think God is somewhere It’s not, and that takes your light outside of you. People have a shadow because they were disconnected from their inner Divinity by their belief process.

But you know, belief is better than the unbelief of the first and second paradigm. Those people are normally locked up in institutions like prisons because they are violent. For those in the first and second paradigm, their first step of Ascension is to be indoctrinated into a belief process of an authority outside of them or a higher power with the savior model to lift them up to the third paradigm — and that’s a tremendous accomplishment. I credit religion for doing that.

Yet, the next step up is to shed the belief and to become connected once again to your inner Divinity so that you can receive knowing consciousness. That makes all the difference in the world. It immunes you from Earth pathogens and it allows you to reassume your sacred path and to overcome through a purge the problems of the downfall world while still retaining the understanding you acquire by having these lessons in life void of knowing consciousness. So, we take our understanding and combine it with the knowing of our Divine origin and we have evolved to become a holy being that not only knows, but understands all of life.

That was the purpose of the school of understanding that we call the downfall world, because we had to be dumbed down to go to it. You’ve got to check your knowing in at the door and consent to have your trinity disassembled — and from there you get the find your way back home.

That is almost completed in the history of our evolution — and all of these problems will be leaving with it when the new Holy O Earth takes over after the Armageddon and Rapture events in 2022. Armageddon is the end of the world of belief consciousness. The Rapture is a redistribution of people into eight civilizations of the New Holy O Earth, so that they’re in the correct environment for their continued unfoldment and Ascension. They’re both very positive things that are part of the purification of the New Holy O Earth, and that’s all scheduled for 2022. I don’t know the month or the date yet. It’s all leading to a much better world. It’s about becoming the holy being that we were created to be originally in the first place.

Is there anything that we, as individuals, should be doing in preparation for that 2022 event of moving from belief to knowing?

Yes, there is — and it all starts with our problems. Whenever we have problems, worries and concerns, there are two options of how to handle that. If you try to figure it out and fix it yourself, which is what a human does, then you’re coming from your beliefs. out fear, pain and punishment to you by defending and justifying the belief system it imposes on your Self, and that’s not a fun experience.

The other thing to do is to start practicing the parable of being the Christed being.

A Christed being surrenders its problems, worries and concerns to its higher power to be dealt with — their inner Divinity.

All you have to do to lift all burden, stress and strain off of you is to yield to the will of your inner holiness. That means to start following the whispering voice and gut knowing that you’re given and show up in your day without apprehension and worry.

Take your step in trusting the Divine flow of life. That puts you into connection with this Divine flow that opens the door wide for miracles of opportunity and goodness to come into your life.

People don’t realize it when they are functioning from belief, but they’re actually telling the Holy Order what It’s allowed to be or they’re not going to accept it. Belief makes people a knucklehead, and also you cannot heal ignorance with belief; that requires knowledge and understanding.

Belief actually creates a culture that allows ignorance to exist. Belief disconnects you from Divine Source, and it’s not a good place to be. But we can overcome things.

It’s all about expanding our consciousness and having an open heart and mind and allowing the Holy Order to show, tell and lead us instead of us telling It what It’s allowed to be.

How is humanity doing overall? Is there a good flow of people that are moving in the right direction at this time?

Definitely! It’s very impressive. Going around the country doing what I do, I see people that I’ve never worked on before and they’re up the Ascension Ladder to cosmic consciousness and Goddess Consciousness.

These are the results of the group healings we do around the country. When you integrate these steps of Ascension into the hard drive of the Earth grid, everybody on the planet stews in this stuff.

There are 177 million lightworkers on the planet, and all of our sacred gifts are unique.

They’re like snowflakes, and they all come from the same Source. They are quite interchangeable. People are getting through their own willingness to open their hearts and minds and seek the Holy Order. It’s all in harmony and all good things are supportive and nurturing to one another. I see every day how powerful that is, and it’s amazing!

People are awakening every day. It’s like popcorn; we don’t all pop at the same time, but most of us pop. It’s happening!

You just talked about the results you’ve seen from the group healings, and during those group healings you receive messages.

What are the latest messages you’ve been receiving related to the healing of humanity and the Earth?

Something that I discovered in February at our group healing in New Orleans was about the inner Earth. I didn’t realize the impact of the inner Earth in the overall scheme of the Ascension process. It’s like the core of what has to be right. The inner Earth is like a cavernous bulb in the Earth and it contains three major parts: the Great Central Sun, the Christ Matrix Grid, and the South Pole. The South Pole is not only the entry into the inner Earth, it totally lines the inner bulb.

I’ve never seen a worse train wreck when I got in there initially. It was really totally messed up and it was a big reason for the human condition of pain, misery, lack and limitation on the planet. It was about getting that realigned and cleaned up and those three parts back into a trinity of O-ness — and getting the blocks out of the way. That’s where I saw the brown ray fracture. We wanted an expansion of the 13 dimensional matrix, because it connected our Spirit body to our root chakra. The root chakra is another expression of the inner Earth. That broken brown ray was causing Goddess Consciousness to short-circuit at the inner Earth. It was not integrated into it. That’s actually what was corrected last night, taking the coronavirus off the planet.

It’s very interesting how we are holographically connected to the big picture.

When we were holy beings of the Holy-O before the downfall world existed back in the ancient world, we were in a different celestial outlay. We were in a nine-cluster mechanism of the All That Is of the Holy-O, which has over 62 million plus Oniverses.

It was this Oniverse that we’re in right here where a tenth of it was fractured off at the Big Bang to create the Universe. Its purpose is to house the downfall world, the school of understanding.

That caused a tremendous rift in our own trinity of our soul, Spirit and presence, because our presence is our own Oniversal law, our Spirit is our own Cosmic law, and our soul body is our own Galactic law.

When a tenth of this Oniverse fractured off, the Universe took 76 cosmoses with it, out of the 763 that this Oniverse had, and it put a core fracturing into our trinity of our soul, Spirit and presence. That fracture just healed through the cosmic unity tool, which is one of the six tools of our cosmic being. It reintegrates you into your inner Divinity, but it takes you through the inner Earth, Earth, galaxy, cosmos, Oniverse, Nine Clusters, into your inner Divinity, and reestablishes the Truth that allows your trinity to be solid and not have a core fracture anymore. So, that was really big.

There are a lot of things to fix. This light stuff got broke every possible way. Going through this is like going through a salvage yard with all the crashed vehicles. You just take one step at a time and allow the inner Divinity of the person to lead, and it has a perfect plan for everyone.

And, yet, using the analogy of your work in a salvage yard, your group healings will do things like remove all the rust off all the cars all at one time, so it serves a good purpose.

Yeah, it really does, and it allows people to stew in the frequencies of higher consciousness. That’s exactly what is fueling their purge. If you have awareness and understanding of all of this, it makes it so much easier than going through this in the dark, totally lost and not having any understanding at all. That’s a very frightful place to be.

We try to get it out to everybody, but they have to accept it. Belief is what will close people’s minds in a heartbeat. In most of life, a person only has a sliver of expertise.

They’ve done their life and they know all about that, but when they start looking at the rest of the bigger picture, which they don’t have any knowing of, well, it’s just their opinion about what they don’t know. Fat chance it’s going to hold up to be truthful. It’s like when you’re in a box you don’t know what’s outside the box, and so that’s the problem with belief. Weirdly enough, it wants to make up all the rules about what higher consciousness has to be about or it’s not going to accept it. So it’s not only ignorant, it’s a knucklehead, and everybody’s got one of those to contend with. That makes this job a lot more difficult than it would have to be otherwise.

Right, because you have some people who are trying to reinforce their guesses of what it’s all about.

That’s the second paradigm, one of the biggest areas of purging. That’s where all political processes are at. What’s actually wrong with it is that it’s being held in the second paradigm, in the reality of duality — I’m right and you’re wrong, and I’m so right, you’re evil — in hypocrisy, how people can change their tune 180 degrees depending on whether they get the long end of the stick out of it or not, and in the polarization of human consciousness where all ten people looking at the same thing cannot agree upon what they see, and they have no common solutions.

It’s really the second paradigm that’s the problem. In the new Holy-O Earth, our political process is going to the sixth paradigm of shared agreement and having positive feelings as a result of experiences in life with others. It will be very pleasant.

Will it move that way quickly or will it be a long process going from the second to the sixth?

No, not right away, because the Arma-geddon and the Rapture will happen before that, and that’s going to clear a lot. We’ve got a few more years to go through this. We’ve gotten Goddess Consciousness integrated into the Earth grid and that brown ray is now fixed, so that the core of the root chakra and the inner Earth can be integrated with it. So we’ve got a year from September for more of this purge to go through, and things that are resisting it and have resisted it so far will be crumbling and going through their purge. It won’t be pretty, but if you have understanding of how necessary it is, it’s tolerable.

And it’s expected, right? Over the next year you would expect more things to fall apart and crumble away.

Exactly. And more people will ascend because of it. It will open people’s minds and hearts. You can only resist this for so long.

So, with all the energetic mechanics out there working on all of this, you have to feel pretty good overall.

I feel great. It’s one of the perks of getting to do this. I get to stay on the cutting edge of higher consciousness, but I also get to purge first.

Having a sacred gift does not excuse me from cleaning up my human conditions. I have to clean up my mess like everyone. I just get to do it first, and thank the Lord that I’m always on my A game when I go work somewhere. I’m loving it and I feel really good about where things are headed. Do the animals sense how we’ve changed the way we live?

A doe and fawn lie on our hill, watching us at the table, their ears like radar dishes, alert, in case someone pulls into the driveway. But no one does.

The coral-bellied and curled-tail ring neck racer sidewinds in “S” curves striving to flee from the threat of our looming shadows.

A hawk flies low overhead, then perches in the sycamore, aspiring to commune; she must have some ancient wisdom to share.

COVID-19: A Time to Relax, Reset and have Gratitude JOHN J. MURPHY THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC has left so many of us feeling stressed, worried and anxious. In a time where there is much unknown and unclear, taking miracle-minded steps could be just what we need to stay well and relieved.

Miracle-minded management (MMM) offers a completely different way to look at what’s occurring in today’s world. It is a shift in perception, a correction of the mind — described in A Course in Miracles.

Rather than seeing life through the lens of fear and resistance and doubt (also known as the ego thought-system), we view everything with an open mind and an open heart. We can begin to see beyond the perceived threat and trauma to the wisdom of the ages. Perhaps what is seen as negative through the ego’s eyes is here for a reason, a positive reason. Perhaps what we are witnessing, and even suffering from, is a blessing in disguise. Imagine what this might mean with the coronavirus?

A few notes to contemplate from a miracle-minded perspective: • This perceived threat is giving us time to relax. How often do we hear people say they have no time to relax, no time to sit quietly and read a good book, or be with people they love? How often do people use busyness as an excuse to push off healthy practices like meditation, contemplation, prayer and exercise?

• This perceived threat is challenging us to reset — to step back and examine our priorities. How often do people overlook the most important things in life, like relationships, because they are so preoccupied with meaningless distractions? Maybe this BY

virus is giving us all a chance to reboot our minds, our operating systems. How ironic is that? It takes a global virus to delete the faulty programs running in our minds.

• This perceived threat is elevating our awareness. How often do we take for granted simple things like warm hugs, friendly handshakes, open gyms and stocked grocery stores? Is this a global lesson in awareness? Will this life-threatening experience teach us to be more mindful of one another and the incredible, prosperous world we share?

• This perceived threat is reminding us of simplicity. How often do we hear people complain about how complicated things are? We don’t have enough time to do things we don’t need to do. We don’t have enough space for things we don’t need.

We just need more and more and more.

Our lives have become so complex and overwhelming we have lost sight of just how simple things can be. Hmm, could this virus be a cleansing of sorts, an opportunity for us to let go of the many things we don’t really need?

• This perceived threat is teaching us appreciation. You know that job you often complain about or the income that never seems to be enough. How does it feel to be without it? And what about the customers who never seem gracious enough? How do you like doing business without them? Is it possible we are all getting a painful lesson in gratitude?

• This perceived threat is a lesson in patience. Who knows when this will end?

Unlike standing in line at the airport or waiting in traffic, we are now surrounded by ambiguity. What’s going to happen?

How are we going to deal with this? What if

I get sick? Who is going to help me? Guess what? Life is full of uncertainty and it’s been that way for a while. Maybe it’s time to slow down rather than speed up? Panic and road rage do not help.

• This perceived threat is testing our courage. Ask any successful leader or entrepreneur what it takes to be successful and you will no doubt hear the word courage.

We always have a choice. We can choose fear, or we can choose faith. We just can’t choose both at the same time. They are mutually exclusive thought-systems. The ego mindset is fear-based and dualistic in nature, meaning divisive — right vs. wrong, win vs. lose, good vs. bad, us vs. them. The miracle-mindset is Love-based, with a capital L. This means it is sacred, fearless, unconditional, eternal, inspiring (“in-Spirit”), contemplative and beyond duality. It recognizes the beauty and harmony and balance in the yin and yang.

Everything happens for a reason, a positive reason. When we learn to approach life with this perspective, we call more peace, harmony, and balance into our lives. Fear calls for the opposite, for more of what we fear. So, what does it take to transcend this ego thought-system? Courage: the heartfelt strength to let go of doubt and embrace the Love that gives us life.

• This perceived threat is teaching us respect — for our planet, for our elders, for one another, for our bodies, for our healthcare providers, and for the many things we often take for granted. Ironic as it may seem, maybe this virus is cleansing our environment by slowing down toxic emissions and eliminating unnecessary activity and waste. Who knows? Maybe there is a silver lining. Maybe there is some virtue to this virus?

Sometimes, it takes a certain amount of suffering before people are ready to challenge the ego and open to the Truth. Before jumping mindlessly on the fear bandwagon, consider using this significant time in our history to renew yourself with fresh insights and a positive attitude. Collectively, when we unite as one and embrace the emotion of Love, there is nowhere for disease to land.

One Covid Journey BY

BREATHING IS GOOD. I like breathing, but I came close to not breathing a few times this week. I’ve seen a lot of information about mild COVID-19, five days with a little cough, and the deadly form, requiring hospitalization, but our experience was somewhere in between. It needed all the training my World War II Army nurse mother gave me as a child, and all the alternative health training I’ve been graced with since then.

Every March I go to New York City to teach astrology for a week. This year I hoped I could get in and out before the coronavirus pandemic escalated — and missed. My divination said there was danger to my health, but I needed to go anyway. I’m still trying to figure that one out. But I’m trying to give purpose to my experience by making it useful to others.

My time in NYC, from March 12-18, covers the week the public health situation turned. I arrived right after they canceled flights to Europe, and then the quarantine really ramped up. Bars and restaurants closed. The city turned from bustling busy to an echoing quiet, interspersed with sirens. I traveled back to Montana with a connecting flight through Salt Lake City on the day that city was hit by earthquakes.

I was stuck in airports surrounded by a chorus of coughing until the ground quieted and air travel reopened.

My mate stocked up while I was gone so we could quarantine ourselves when I returned. Three days later, I started to cough, and in three more days so did my mate. Yes, we tested positive for COVID-19.

COVID COUGH The first five days brought the Covid cough, a dry, inflaming, unproductive cough behind the sternum, headache, mild fever, trouble regulating body temperature, a noticeable loss of taste and smell (curry tasted like rancid peanut butter), and a deepening bone-level exhaustion.

Our health began to shift on days 6-10, with thickening brain fog and worsening physical symptoms. We got out of breath

just feeding the dogs and felt unusually emotionally labile, crying and laughing at the slightest plot twist. Our medical support said as long as we can breathe without a ventilator, stay home, both for our safety and comfort, and for the community’s.

We started on homeopathic remedies and took monolaurin, a multivitamin with enzymes and probiotics, quercetin, A, C, D, B12, NAC, all for lung and blood support and to reduce inflammation. This worked for me, but each person needs to research their own individual needs. We forced ourselves to eat a healthy, anti-inflammatory diet with electrolyte-balancing soup, even if we couldn’t taste it. Melatonin at night seemed to reduce inflammation and aid sleep. I drank ginger-agrimony tea during the daytime, chewed Osha root, and made turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper tea at night. I slept with a humidifier on and hot water bottle, both which calmed down the cough so we could sleep.

On days 10-12, often a dangerous time in this disease, I had some scary asthma-like symptoms that needed action.

As I went to sleep, my breathing sounded like I had inhaled the reeds of some toy whistle; when I woke up, I couldn’t catch my breath. My bronchi had swollen. I remembered the drill: stay calm, slow the breathing, run hot water in the sink and throw a towel over my head so I could inhale steam until I could catch my breath.

I then lay in an inverted prone position, with my chest and head slanted down, for 10 minutes at a time to help clear the bottom of my bronchi. Repeat as needed.

Our doctor gave us a short course of azithromycin, which doesn’t touch the virus but can help prevent secondary pneumonia. She also gave me an inhaler that I carried like a talisman, like an umbrella to avoid rain, and never needed to use. We are both doing gentle deep breathing exercises to stretch and fill our lungs.

Because of early autoimmune issues, I knew my mood profoundly affected my immune system, so I’ve been careful to

stay fully informed, but with boundaries.

I check the news twice a day, not all day; I stay awake to new danger and research, but keep my focus on health and healing.

I’ve also put boundaries up with beloveds who first barraged me with urgent articles and fearful, angry comments. I’d already read most of them and didn’t need this projection, but took their concern as a sign of love. Let’s be careful to not project our anxiety upon one another, for we need all power to the force field right now.

FEEL THE PRAYERS Pray rather than worry. I’ve been gratefully included in many prayers and healing circles. I feel the prayers pouring in as a pool of energy to tap into when I don’t have my own, essential to help us turn out of the scary time. Thank you to all who held me in healing light. On day 13 we’ve begun to feel less easily overwhelmed, no longer skating around quicksand.

I write a yearly astrological overview for we’moon calendar. For 2020 I wrote, “The stars ask us to pay attention to our spiritual life and relationships, but always remember they are embedded in the body politic, and the body politic needs our help. Our spirituality must feed into community organizing to help us build a healthier world. As Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto run together, they bring an opportunity for death and rebirth of power systems throughout the world, but it may get messy before it gets better…Jupiter maximizes whatever it touches — and here it increases the Hecate-Kali work of revolution, transformation, death and rebirth. We can use this to create a liberating time, or to experience control issues. Some incident could call us to face our fears of mortality and move past them into a bigger acceptance.”

Rx for Self-Care: Coping with Fear of the Unknown BY

PEOPLE STRUGGLING TO COPE with fear, anxiety and stress due to the coronavirus need to take time to for “emotional nourishment” to make sure they are able to function well for themselves and their loved ones.

Self-care refers to how one actively protects and improves one’s overall health and wellness, focusing on the mind, body and spirit. Self-care is acutely important.

Nurturing our heart, mind, body and spirit is critical to our longevity. Without our health, we have nothing.

Here are some self-care tips to help you get through difficult times: • Feed yourself with calming thoughts and words — Positive self-talk is a superb source of motivation and sustenance. Use short, pithy phrases or power-packed, inspirational words to shift your mood. Create personal mantras that mean something to you. Also, do not repeat negative beliefs about yourself. Stay away from using the words “never” or “always.” Do not “negative futurize,” believing something bad is going to happen instead of something good is going to happen. Be aware of negative thoughts that are triggered within you and reframe them into positive ones.

• Breathe deeply and exercise your lungs to release fear — Inhale slowly through your nose with your shoulders relaxed, expanding your abdomen (put your hand on your belly to make sure it’s your abdomen rising and falling and not your chest). Exhale slowly through your mouth, keeping your jaw relaxed. Repeat for several minutes. If you are distraught for any reason, focusing on your breathing will help you calm down (it can even prevent panic attacks!).

• Check in with yourself — If you establish a habit of checking in with yourself daily, you are far less likely to succumb to negative messages and attitudes that attack your self-worth like a virus. Neglecting to do this is like waiting until you collapse on your feet to take your temperature. Taking your temperature, or checking in with yourself, is a way to regulate your thoughts and behavior.

By checking in with yourself, you can self-regulate your temperament throughout the day to remain calm and maintain your cool.

• Reset your mood — Our society has trained us to feel fear when we are unfamiliar with something, when we are in an adverse situation, or when we are facing a problem.

Yet, when we fear something, we are channeling our energy toward that fear, and in our attempt to fight the fear, we pour more energy and focus into the fear itself. Our best option is to keep making the choices that will help us feel connected to our inner source of peace — our Soul Self.

• Experiment to find the self-care techniques that work best for you. Practicing them can help you develop the selfworth and inner strength you need to face difficult circumstances and fear of the unknown. The actions we choose to nurture and strengthen our well-being differ from person to person, since each of us is unique. It is important to find activities that you love and find meaningful so that you will continue to participate. a

How to Find the Eye of the Storm Amidst the Coronavirus Pandemic BY

I HAVE BEEN pondering for the last couple of days on what the purpose of the coronavirus pandemic means for the world.

It could just be a way of life that sickness goes around and finds its ways into our bodies. Back a few centuries ago, we would have thought the Gods were punishing us for our misdeeds. But I am wondering if it’s time for the world to take a step back and reflect on a few things.

We are always on the go — with too much work, activities or, in my case, baseball for my son.

He is on two teams (don’t ask).

Before this epidemic, I asked myself quite often why I am sitting here for a double header only to be shuffled home and forced to monitor homework, cook dinner and clean up. It would be nice to have a relaxing day to spend with the family.

I used to live in Cleveland, Ohio, and I had days then when the boys were little and we were snowed in. We used to go stir crazy with nothing to do. So where do we find the balance?

All of our lives have been shaken up over the past few weeks with many cancellations, lack of income from jobs being shut down, working from home and homeschooling our children.

We have been trekking gingerly to the store multiple times to load up on toilet paper and necessities. Just to give you an example, we spent $1,000 on groceries in the last three weeks preparing. I hate to admit that I am part of the problem, but I am.

So, I just stopped myself today to ask what is everyone so scared of? Originally, we were all afraid of dying. When the idea of the virus was first presented to us, we were told there was a chance for our demise. As the conditions of the world tightened, we were all afraid of running out of supplies. We have become accustomed to getting necessities from stores rather than being farmers and operating our lives self-sufficiently like we did 150 years ago. We don’t have any survival instincts left or resources to catch that wild turkey. Most of us have a tiny yard or no green space to grow fruits and vegetables in.

Then we acquired enough supplies to last us probably a year and reality set in that we are stuck 24/7 inside with our family — or maybe all alone — and for whatever reason that sounds really awful. We don’t like and cannot accept change.

All of us are adapting in one way or another with this, and the fact of not being settled has got us all off kilter. Now we have time to reflect on our purpose and that scares the daylights out of us. Now we have time to discover who we really are and what life is all about and we don’t like that.

So back to my original question of why? The universe is having us take a step back and find out the truth of who we really are. We are part of God and nothing can ever hurt us. If you think about God as perfection and us as being part of him, we must realize there can be no lack

in God, therefore no lack in us. We are residing as a perfect being of light and everything is all right. So, take a deep breath and relax. It is going to be okay.

You have enough supplies, you have been social distancing yourself, you are washing your hands more than ever and taking better care of your body. You are safe and are now calm within the eye of the storm. If you are lacking income, I know that can be a big stressor, but the universe will balance itself out and you will be fine. You are getting more sleep, eating less or better to lose that extra weight, having the time to workout at home, feeling loved by being around the people you care for.

Having time to figure it all out is what life is all about now. Be thankful you have the time to focus on what really matters.

Let’s stop worrying about the past or what may happen in the future and focus on the now with the opportunity we have to connect with others and yourself. We might even start calling people on the phone instead of texting like we did over a decade ago. Be brave by going forward and not supporting your illusions today. Let’s make the decision to stay positive and get rid of the awful feeling we have had inside the last few weeks and start living life. It’s Time to Wait and See What New Self will Emerge from the Stillness of this Chaos

IF YOU’RE LIKE MOST people, you may be experiencing an overwhelming sense of being trapped in a situation where you feel powerless. You listen to the news, and the more information you receive, the more powerless you feel. Because the truth is, everyone is in a wait-and-see situation. Yes, we are going to be smart and responsible; we’re going to wash our hands frequently, keep our hands out of our faces, practice social distancing, and stay at home as much as possible. Still, we will be forced to wait and see.

Today, I was notified that a dear friend lost a family member to coronavirus complications. I feel sad, and I can’t help but ask questions. Why? And Marvin Gaye’s proverbial “What’s going on?”

When nothing we can do seems to make a difference, we must sit and listen to our soul speak. Our intellectual abilities are confounded and frustrated, but our souls are steadfast and sure. So, that’s what I have been doing. I have been just sitting and listening.

It hasn’t been the easiest thing to do. At first, I felt the desire to get up and clean or cook, because with everybody home all day and no weekly housekeeping services, everyone has resorted back to: Mommy will do that.

But I resisted and I continued to just sit…waiting to hear a word from my soul… from the seat of the Divine Spirit of God. Eventually, I went for a run, and this is what I heard (maybe I didn’t hear it, I think mostly I felt it rise from my soul). I want to share it with you.

Self-quarantine and curfew have created a stillness across the land. It’s rare that chaos results in stillness. And because we are accustomed to existing in the midst of hustle and bustle, our first instinct is to seek

distractions or even create distractions. This works for a few days and maybe even for a few weeks, thus we are able to find enough distractions to keep us from the task at hand.

Hopefully, in our own time, we all will come to the conclusion that we are not trapped in our homes. Instead, we have been placed in a purposeful time out.

We are meant to spend this time realigning ourselves with the true self. The self that exists without clothing, shoes, and for us women, makeup. The self that exists without flesh and bones. The self that is and always will be.

This is a season of rebirth. The world has shifted gears, and we are temporarily moving slower. Suspended tasks and activities have given us more free time. Use this free time to realign yourself, because when you emerge into the new world, you will be new, too.

When I was sitting and waiting for my soul to speak, I had a vivid childhood memory. I saw my grandmother and me, my mother and my two siblings in our Sunday best attending my great uncle’s Pentecostal church. We were singing these song lyrics, “…I looked at my hands and my hands looked new, I looked at my feet and they did too, ever since that wonderful day my soul’s been satisfied.’’ I remembered how I loved that spirited song, the clapping and the instruments playing. But mostly I loved being in that warm and familiar place with the people I loved.

As we wait in the incubator of change, I encourage you to reflect on this truth: your happiest days and your most fond memories will not be equated with your societal stature, title or income bracket. You are more important than a title given to you by ➤ see NEW SELF on p. 20

society. You are more valuable than any amount of money you could ever earn.

Your contribution to our world resides in your soul, and the time you spend reconnecting with your soul will benefit you and the world. When you reconnect with your soul, you realign with abundance.

You will begin to vibrate at the frequency of your abundant life. In other words, you will be in flow.

Energetic flow creates a connection between you and what you desire and allows you to move into your next level of greatness.

The following are ways to reconnect with your soul: • Practice conscious awareness — Use this time to re-engage your five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch.

Set aside time to notice what you are seeing, what you are hearing, what you are smelling, what you are touching, and what you are tasting. This activity will ground you in the present, the NOW. “Now” is the place of your most powerful position. It is the point of your highest energetic vibration.

• Practice active gratitude — Active gratitude is high energy gratitude; it’s active, not passive gratitude. This means that you make a shortlist, three items, of what you are grateful for and you get really excited about each item on that list.

If you listen to my radio program, you hear me talk about the practice of active gratitude a lot, because it is a gamechanging practice.

• Have meaningful conversations with the Universe— Ask questions, confess your fears, spill your guts, and then close your eyes and just listen. This practice will eventually feel so soothing and comforting, you’ll crave this conversation time.

• Be kind to yourself and others.

• Forgive yourself and others for everything. This is a loving practice.

• Accept yourself just the way you are today.

• Accept others just the way they are today.

We are in the incubator of change. We must participate in the process. When we participate, we will emerge in the new world as our new self. Help the World: Healing through Scientific Prayer PRESENTED BY

NEGATIVE VIBRATIONS of selfishness, greed and hatred bring disease, unhappiness, war and natural disaster to individuals and nations. These can be overcome if enough people turn to Spirit in meditation and prayer. By changing ourselves — through spiritual living and communion with the Divine — we automatically radiate vibrations of peace and harmony that do much to counteract the negative effects of inharmonious living.

In addition, we can serve as channels for divine healing through scientific prayer.

Never has a time been so ripe for social and planetary spiritual healing.

Praying for others is one of the highest services we can offer. Charity, social work and other forms of relief are valuable and necessary in temporarily alleviating the suffering of others, but scientific prayer strikes at the root cause of world suffering: wrong thought patterns of humanity that ultimately manifest as inharmonious conditions. Though prayer styles may differ, spiritual healing is most effective when methods of transmitting energy correspond with our subtle body structure.

The body/mind is a receiving and broadcasting station. We tune into, or receive, Spirit by focusing at the spiritual eye in meditation. Then, we broadcast or transmit healing forces through the energy centers or chakras in the palms.

This is the historical basis of ‘laying on of hands’ and many other forms of energetic healing.

The following five steps can be done by anyone regardless of faith orientation.

It doesn’t matter what form of Higher

Power you adhere to; what matters is helping.

• Step One: Tune-In — Meditate to draw closer to God / Spirit. Commune deeply with the Divine.

• Step Two: Ask — Invoke Divine blessing and guidance. God is the sole healer, we are but channels for that Higher Power.

• Step Three: Prepare — Rub the hands together briskly. Feel a sensation of warmth or energy gather in the palms (as best as possible). Raise the hands to head or shoulder height with palms facing out.

Clearly visualize whoever or wherever you wish to direct healing.

• Step Four: Sending — Chant OM or Amen/Amin aloud simultaneously feeling spiritual blessings and energy flow out through the hands. Mentally direct this healing force by envisioning recipients bathed in divine healing light and manifesting perfect health. Again, see them as Whole. Repeat this process several times or for as long as you feel to do so.

• Step Five: Closure — Express gratitude for the healing. Appreciation is ever appropriate for divine gifts.

Consider doing this as part of your daily spiritual practice. The world needs your help, and everyone’s input is important! Just do and let God take care of outcomes. Share with others. a REV. Of Brontës & Blackberries Spirit Leaves

BY JANET MICHELE RED FEATHER THERE’S A WONDERFUL biopic on the Brontë sisters. I happen to be an aficionado of all things English, literary, cottagelike, Victorian, articulate, poetic and dramatic — and this film involves all of those and more.

What does the film To Walk Invisible have to do with this month’s focus on food? Not much, except there’s this one scene where sister Emily Brontë sits pensively snacking upon — wait a minute — that’s right: she’s feasting upon freshly picked blackberries as though they were little bon-bons.

Change the way we view our food, and we change the way we nourish our bodies. That is a simple truth I’ve learned to embrace.

We often view food as a comfort. The very first time I heard that expression, I lived in Nebraska and taught over the border on the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota. The department chair invited me to join her on a lunch break. “I’m in the mood for comfort food,” she said, mentioning in the same breath the name of a local drive-in.

She was amused and nonplussed when I inquired naïvely, “What’s comfort food?”

She said, “You know, food that makes you feel good, like milkshakes, biscuits and gravy, pumpkin pie.”

COMFORT FOOD I have since discovered that the “comfort” aspect is capable of being tied more to the person who prepared the food or the surroundings and circumstances in which the food is presented. In a loving, joyous setting, even so-called “health food” may take on the property of being comfort food.

Alternatingly, we may treat food as a

reward, which is not its essential function.

Obsessed with fine dining, we develop a discerning palate; we crave complex flavors.

This obsession can be costly, generally implicating a high-fat, high-salt intake. Most of us are gourmands and not gourmets: we should insist upon tasty food but not go overboard.

At times, we may treat food as medication. Whenever we feel a ping of anxiety or remorse, we crave all the wrong things.

Some reach for chocolate; others clamor for chips. Still others indulge complex carbohydrates, like muffins, cupcakes and bagels.

Regardless of our predilection, we are likely to fall prey to a state of imbalance that results from the mass consumption of rich foods.

The key is to nip the impulse in the bud and quickly identify the motive behind the mad draw toward certain foods. Are we using food for comfort, reward or medicine?

We can then pause for a moment to gather our shakes (not the milky variety!). At that point, we are in a position to reimagine our purpose for eating. Think back to the pioneer days, when we lacked certain conveniences.

We were so busy moving about and exerting; food was our fuel then. In our current vastly more sedentary state, food is more of an extra or an amusement rather than the “staff of life” it was long ago. In this new energy, we should engage an internal conversation with our own inner guidance. We know, intuitively, that should we choose to ignore that guidance, our bodies will wreak havoc with us.

temple for the Divine within. Viewed in this manner, we should be respectful and view all the food that goes into us as sacred offerings. Drinking tea regularly can be a solid reminder of this. It’s not that difficult to make new routines, really. I remember the concept of patterning from Psych 101. If we do something in the same way over and over, then through repetition, that behavioral chain is reinforced in the brain’s pathways. If we consistently fill our bowls with blackberries rather than ice cream, eventually, that becomes our familiar routine.

With a little mindfulness and presence, the practice is rendered enjoyable.

Let us emerge from this long hibernation renewed, healthy and vital. It’s absolutely not too late to make positive changes. Stores are filled with healthy, affordable, organic options. That is the stuff we should stock in refrigerators and pantries. We need to recognize and honor who we truly are within — and nurturance of the body temple is but a single strand of this worthy effort. a

The Spiritual Significance of Our Food Choices

BY SRI HAROLD KLEMP WHEN WE CONSIDER our health, we often think in terms of vitamins and eating the right foods and eliminating junk foods. I try to do both. By junk, I only mean the foods that you can’t handle. The same foods might not be junk to someone else, so you have to learn a little charity.

I have found that most of my own illnesses were caused by the foods I ate. That being the case, I have to look as carefully at the good foods as I do at the so-called junk foods.

We might catch a cold because we got a chill or didn’t dress properly. On the other hand, it may also be that we ate the wrong food. I don’t mean to say that all illnesses can be attributed to food; this is not true. But our basic diet plays a bigger part in our health than most people realize.

Taking vitamins and eliminating standard junk foods may not be enough. We also need to examine the effects of the good foods. We could be preparing some of them in a way that is wrong for us, or eating them in larger quantities than our body can handle. These are all points to consider.

SPIRITUAL VIEW OF HEALTH Learning more about your body can be a spiritual realization.

When you are able to function better in your physical body, you are better able to serve ECK (the Holy Spirit). You are happier and more pleasant to be around. We are interested in good health, because it can aid one toward God-Realization.

Health is a continuing concern as the aging process accompanies us through life. It’s as if we are all on the same big carpet of time, whether we’re 3 years old or 90.

As the carpet moves along, we go from infancy to gray hair, losing the springiness of youth.

The point I want to make is this: Whichever end of the carpet of time we happen to be on, we should make an effort to be in the very best health we can. This helps us to be more conscious and more alert to the workings of the Holy Spirit all around us.

FRUITS AND SWEETENERS Sweeteners, even the natural forms found in fruit, have an adverse effect on me. My wife also is very sensitive to fruit, especially bananas sold at the grocery stores.

They caused such piercing pains in her eyes that she found it impossible to work. One day I brought home some organically grown bananas for her to try. She was able to eat a small portion, maybe half a banana a day, along with other food.

Commercially grown oranges and other fruits absorb the poisons sprayed all around them. I think pesticides are responsible for a lot of the illnesses people suffer from today. My wife’s eye pains were remedied simply by eliminating commercially grown bananas from her diet.

Sugar, including the natural sugar in apples, oranges, and other fruits, often gives me a general feeling of weakness. It’s just the way my system reacts to them. For other people, fruits are absolutely necessary.

The foods that are bad for me may not be bad for you. But keep in mind that if you are coming down with too many colds, there may be more to it than the idea that everybody gets them. If this occurs often enough to be a nuisance, then look at the foods you have been eating — even the good foods.

You Won’t Find Your Worth on Your Fork DR. JENNIFER CHAMPION MAYBE YOUR AVERAGE DAY consists of pressing deadlines, co-workers not completing their share of the work, and mounting stressors that just keep coming with no time to eat. Maybe you are a parent who runs yourself ragged trying to be Super Mom or Super Dad, being everything to everyone in your family. You are lucky if you have time to eat your own meals, but typically find yourself eating the scraps off of your kids plates and calling that a meal.

If we add these scenarios to a history of trauma, emotional repression and disordered eating patterns, what we create is a perfect storm for nutrient imbalances left in the wake of poor dietary choices.

Too many people do not feel that they are worth the extra time and effort it takes to make a simple, homecooked meal. Others were never taught how to eat (or cook) by the generations before them. As a society, we ushered in the use of microwaves, TV dinners and processed foods to make our lives easier. We saw the first fast food restaurant built and their competitors shortly thereafter. Today, our TV commercials are aimed at those who don’t make time to cook and the very young, so that their minds and bodies become addicted to the chemicals used in the processed, packaged food items. The ease and convenience of our fast-paced, drive-thru society has left us tired, overweight or obese, and certainly addicted to the high fat, high sugar, and high sodium world of what we call the Standard American Diet.

So often, my clients will say that they lack the willpower to not eat food that they know they should avoid. After all, everyone knows that a carrot is healthier than a candy bar — and yet they reach for the candy bar time and time again. We are hard-wired to seek out pleasure and to find quick energy sources. Our ancestors used this to survive and reproduce. However, in our current culture, the food items that we choose are often fillers for missing parts of our lives.

Maybe you are addicted to sugar because you can’t find the sweetness in your own life. Maybe you are padding yourself by having extra weight, because if no one can get to your heart then you can’t be hurt again. Maybe you are drowning yourself in food to avoid drowning in your grief or anger.

For years, I buried my emotions deep inside of me by shoving food on top of them. Food was always a source BY

of comfort for me. It didn’t judge me.

It didn’t make me feel like I was worthless. The foods I ate made me feel good, even if just for a moment, while the rest of my world always seemed to be crashing down around me. Food was a comfort and a friend when I had none.

The downside was that even though those foods made me feel good in the short term, in the long term I packed on the weight and eventually developed Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Metabolic Syndrome. My choices to stuff myself full of food to avoid dealing with emotions that I felt ill-equipped to deal with cost me my health.

Today, I make much better choices and I work with my clients to do the same. I know I have to — we have to.

The temptations to reach for the sugary baked goods are still there. The days where I feel like I’m not on top of the world and the emotions are too much to handle can show up at any time.

Choosing to eat foods that aren’t good for me was a learned behavior, yet so is making better food choices. We have to take back the power over what we put in our bodies.

Emotions aren’t always easy to befriend, but when we do, we are able to choose foods that fuel our body toward health instead of disease. It was never about willpower. It’s about loving yourself and learning to see yourself as worthy of good health and the long-term benefits of consuming a diet that is high in nutrients is key in the battle against emotional eating. a DR. The Power of Raw Superfoods JOHANNA KERN WHEN WE ARE TAKING care of our immune system, it is good to remember that raw fruits and veggies have the highest dose of nutrients because vitamins and minerals contained in them do not get destroyed during cooking. So-called superfoods are loaded with nutrients crucial for our health. They can be added to smoothies, or used in delicious raw-food recipes.

Superfoods can be easily preserved by freezing or dehydrating (in the oven or dehydrator) at 135 F. Dehydrating will take between 8-12 hours, depending on a product, but in the end you will have a yummy, healthy stash of superfoods, containing the same amounts of nutrients as fresh ones.

Some raw superfoods that can be stored for a long time: • Apples (slice and dehydrate): packed with antioxidants that boost our body’s anti-aging and anti-cancer abilities.

• Bananas (peel and slice to freeze): rich in potassium that aids the cardiovascular system in maintaining a low and regular blood flow. They contain tryptophan, a protein the body uses to create serotonin.

Banana is a favorite snack of athletes, and it is loaded with bromelain and vitamin B. • Carrots (store fresh): rich in vitamin A, beta carotene, fiber, vitamin K1, potassium and antioxidants. Regular consumption of carrots may help to protect the eyes from age-related vision problems, such as macular degeneration and cataracts.

• Cashew nuts: abundant source of essential minerals and high levels of vitamin B5 and B6, vitamin E, vitamin K, riboflavin and thiamin. Cashews are high in calories but also packed with soluble dietary fiber. They can help to protect from many diseases and cancer.

• Dark Chocolate (at least 75% cacao): rich in magnesium, iron, copper and manganese, contains prebiotic fiber that feeds your healthy gut bacteria.

Chocolate helps in the production of serotonin, which elevates the mood.

• Kale (dehydrate): contains fiber, antioxidants, calcium, vitamins C, K and other BY

nutrients that can help prevent various health problems.

• Peaches (slice and freeze): rich source of vitamin A, C and beta-carotene (improves vision), and a good source of minerals that work to support red blood cell, bone and nervous system health.

• Red Raspberries (freeze): among the world’s most nutritional foods. Very rich in anthocyanins, in particular ellagic acid, which has anti-cancer properties. Studies have shown that ellagic acid inhibits tumor growth caused by carcinogens, at the same time protecting the DNA against damages caused by radiation therapy. The anthocyanins found in red raspberries protect against heart disease and mental aging problems — at the same time helping energy levels and overall well-being.

• Red onions (store fresh): have a high content of sulfur, which supports the body’s ability to detox. Both red and yellow onions enhance the immune system, and are rich in quercetin (bioflavonoid), which helps to remove excessive estrogen levels from our body, and stimulates the liver’s ability to detoxify estrogen and other carcinogenic agents, preventing or dealing with breast cancer, as well as ovarian, uterine and prostate cancer.

• Spinach (freeze): a nutritional powerhouse due to its contents of iron and health-promoting carotenoids (beta carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin), which have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancerous properties, plus are very important for eye health.
