Inside Outside - Sharon Mulberry-Rookes

This image came out of the research on paintings of interiors. Several themes were noticeable and one of them was the dichotomy of inside and outside which could be interpreted as the mundane of the inside contrasted with the excitement and opportunity of the outside world or equally the safety of the inside with the inherent dangers of the outside.

As the painting is relatively small, there were challenges in how much detail I should include. I also had to consider the perspective, tonality and colour
