Thank you for being part of a community that continues to invest in students, families, and a mission that is making a lasting difference.
United in faith,

Jamie Lee Korns, EdD Director of Advancement

Eden Christian Academy has officially launched the pilot phase of our RaiseRight tuition savings program. Throughout the winter, families were invited to complete a brief interest form to be considered for this initial rollout, with the goal of engaging approximately 5–10 families per campus. Interest exceeded those early expectations, demonstrating strong engagement across our school community
RaiseRight allows families to purchase gift cards for everyday shopping, dining, travel, and more while earning rebates that can be applied toward tuition and supporting Eden It is a simple and practical way to turn routine household spending into meaningful tuition savings.
We received interest from 31 families, with 20 families already fully enrolled in the pilot. To date, participating families have submitted more than $13,000 in orders and have already started accruing earnings that will be credited toward tuition. At the same time, their participation is helping strengthen Eden’s tuition assistance efforts for families across our community
A full summer rollout will make the program available to all Eden families for the coming school year, extending this valuable opportunity to more households across Eden
Eden Christian Academy is steadfast in its commitment to providing a safe, secure, and well-prepared learning environment for every student, employee, and visitor. We are pleased to share that the campus-wide intercom and emergency communication upgrades previously supported through Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) grant funding have now been fully completed across all three campuses.
These enhanced systems strengthen our ability to communicate quickly and clearly throughout classrooms, common areas, and exterior spaces when needed supporting day-to-day operations while further enhancing emergency readiness and coordinated response capabilities.

In addition to the previous updates we shared regarding upgraded and newly added emergency preparedness resources, Eden prioritizes campus safety through thoughtful planning, ongoing training, and investments that support the wellbeing of our school community.
We continue to pursue additional grant opportunities and strategic investments that advance campus security and ensure our facilities reflect the highest standards of safety and preparedness

Thanks to the generosity of the Eden community, advancement efforts continue to demonstrate strong and steady momentum this year Through the third fiscal quarter, Eden has received nearly $887,000 in support, with significant additional contributions already received in the fourth quarter. While Eden’s giving has historically followed a seasonal rhythm with especially strong year-end support during the second quarter and quieter first, third, and fourth quarters this year’s fourth-quarter generosity has already significantly outpaced prior trends, an encouraging sign of continued engagement across our community.
In addition to supporting operations, this progress has made possible a number of meaningful advancements across our campuses:
Expanding Tuition Accessibility: Nearly one-quarter of Eden students receive need-based financial aid, helping make Christ-centered education accessible to more families.
Strengthening Academic Excellence: Strategic investments in curriculum are equipping students for future success while reinforcing the Christ-centered values that guide their lives.
Enhancing Safety & Security: Expanded camera systems, upgraded monitoring capabilities, and improved infrastructure are strengthening the safety and reliability of our campuses.
Investing in Campus Operations: The addition of a dedicated vehicle is improving responsiveness and care across facilities and maintenance needs
Advancing Campus Safety Projects: Key upgrades including buried utility lines, enhanced PA systems, and a new secure entrance at Wexford are creating safer, more controlled environments
Upgrading Learning Environments: Improved presentation technology, including a new projector at Mount Nebo, is enhancing student and community experiences
Equipping Faculty for Excellence: Standardizing faculty laptops is streamlining instruction and improving functionality across classrooms
Supporting Student Well-Being: The addition of an elementary school counselor, Mrs Holly Depew, is expanding support for students’ academic, emotional, and spiritual development
Growing Faith & Leadership Formation: Continued investment in spiritual life and leadership programs is shaping students to live out their faith with confidence and purpose.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to expanding tuition accessibility, strengthening safety and security, and investing in the people and programs that shape the Eden experience. At the same time, we are prayerfully pursuing next steps to address growing enrollment demand and additional space needs at our Wexford campus.

Please note, figures reflect gifts raised and received during each fiscal quarter and may differ from formal accounting revenue For example, pledges to the EITC program may have been made, but will not be reflected until funds are received by Eden
Many Eden supporters generously give through DonorAdvised Funds (DAFs), and we are pleased to share a small b i d k h en smoother.

We are proud to celebrate Eden’s secondary Band Director, Mrs. Erica Guidroz, who was recently awarded a competitive mini-grant from the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 1.
This grant supports innovative music instruction and is awarded to educators who demonstrate meaningful impact on student learning, creativity, and program growth. Erica’s proposal stood out for its clarity, intentionality, and direct benefit to students across multiple grade levels reflecting Eden’s commitment to developing each student’s gifts for His purpose.
Through this funding, Eden’s band program will receive essential equipment to support students in grades 4–12, including tools to strengthen flute tone development, expand percussion access, and reduce instrument downtime. These additions will directly impact the majority of our band students while enhancing the overall ensemble experience for all.
This investment ensures that more students are actively engaged in every rehearsal, building both skill and confidence while strengthening the quality of the program as a whole. From increased rehearsal efficiency to expanded exposure to diverse musical styles, the impact will be immediate… and lasting.
We are grateful for educators like Erica who pursue excellence on behalf of their students and create meaningful opportunities for them to develop their God-given talents. This is a clear example of how initiative, creativity, and strategic partnerships continue to expand what’s possible for Eden students.

Pennsylvania’s state tax credit programs including the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) allow eligible participants to receive substantial state tax credits while supporting tuition assistance at Eden Christian Academy. Eligible participants may receive up to a 90% Pennsylvania tax credit, with potential additional federal tax benefits on the remaining eligible portion.
Through our trusted Scholarship Organization (SGO) partners, the process is straightforward and easy to navigate from start to finish It is a simple way to create a meaningful impact for Eden students and families
With proposed changes at the state level that could impact the future of these programs, now is an especially important time to explore participation.
This spring, we are seeking to raise $4,000 to support a targeted early learning initiative for our young Warriors at our Berkeley Hills and Wexford campuses part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening student support across all Eden campuses.
In collaboration with Mrs Holly Depew, our Elementary Guidance Counselor, this effort will introduce research-based tools, including a sensory pathway, wobble cushions and wiggle stools that support flexible seating, and chair bands for fidgety feet These supportive classroom tools are designed to enhance early learning, engagement, and development

Using the link below, it takes just a few minutes to send a message to Governor Shapiro encouraging Pennsylvania to participate in the proposed Federal Tuition Scholarship Credit Program (FTCSP). This federal initiative could create a new opportunity for eligible taxpayers to support scholarship access at schools like Eden while receiving a valuable federal tax credit
For many supporters who may not be a fit for Pennsylvania’s current tax credit programs, the FTCSP could open an additional pathway to help families access Christ-centered education. It could also create opportunities for alumni, grandparents, and other friends of Eden outside of Pennsylvania to invest in our mission.
Please use your voice to help expand educational opportunities for students and families across our Commonwealth.
