I started writing poetry when I was a teen and originally began with free verses No forms, no structure, just being lyrical as inspired by the movie 8 Mile Since then, Eminem has become my centerpiece of inspiration from the hip-hop culture I just found myself writing rap verses but never really released anything
I just find writing and rhyming as a hobby to kill time and expand my English vocabulary. After a certain time, I transitioned to writing Sonnets because the structure was similar to a song. The challenge to writing poetry is how you would make your reader understand your piece Not everyone can understand the meaning of certain words, especially if they are not commonly used in conversations Just like music, poetry exists in the lyrics and rhythm, and it's a versatile form of art that touches every individual uniquely
