Village of North Collins Welcomes New Trustees On April 4th, at the Village of North Collins’ Organizational Meeting, the Village’s two newest Trustees were sworn in by Mayor Vincent George. __________
Wedding Announcement Kylynn Emaline Bank and Lee Patrick Kerwin were united at a nuptial mass officiated by Fr. David Borowiak at 3 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2021 at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Main St. Buffalo Their parents are Michael and Kimberly Bank of Darien Center and Glenn and Marie Hennessy Kerwin of Eden. Their wedding party included Maid of Honor Jessica Fiegl and bridesmaids Autumn Palvino and Meghan Schmeider. Lee's attendants included Best Man, his brother Neal Kerwin, and ushers Dalton Reynolds and Connor Mann. Flowergirls were Emma Kerwin, Rylee Renzo and Kayla Renzo - nieces of the groom - two of whom are also the groom's goddaughters. Guests reassembled later for dinner and dancing at La Galleria in Orchard Park. Kylynn is a graduate of Alexander Central High School and D'Youville College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Analytics. She is a Healthcare Informatics Analyst at Healthelink in Depew. Lee is a graduate of St. Francis High School and Alfred University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is project engineer at the Buffalo Manufacturing Works division of EWI in Buffalo. They honeymooned in St. Lucia and are at home in Buffalo. ___________

This is a full-time, year-round position. The manager will be working directly with the farm owners in any and all the various tasks associated with running the farm. We’re looking for someone who will care for and love our animals, orchards and land as much as we do! Where we are: The property is situated in Clarksburg NY, near Eden, and consists of 105 acres with ponds, apple tree orchards, two horses, two cats and two dogs. What you will be required to do: maintaining existing infrastructure including buildings, grounds and equipment, supervising/assisting sub-contractors, physical labor, operating farm equipment (such as tractors and power tools) landscaping, garden work, seasonal chores (such as snow and leaf removal), errands, tracking and ordering supplies, care for the animals and barn. Forming a bond with the horses is essential. Care of the horses and weather conditions may pose situations in which hours are irregular. The Farm Manager should have a clean driving record and feel comfortable driving a truck in varying weather conditions. Some core requirements: Character counts to us a great deal, we are looking for an individual who is passionate about animals, honest, dependable, a great communicator and an overall hard worker who will embody our brand. You should have experience in caring for animals and working knowledge of land/building care. The LUCAS device is a mechanical chest compression-decompression system which enabled automated and continuous closed chest compression, LUCAS can be used on adult cardiac arrest patients who fit into the device. With the purchase of the Lucas device will be able to assist the Eden Emergency Squad when they are dispatched for a cardiac emergency in the East Eden community. This will provide the Eden Emergency Squad with a second Lucas device for the Town of Eden.
