David A. Fox, of Collins, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home under the care of Hospice Buffalo. He was born on December 27, 1948 in Buffalo, son of the late David and Eleanor (Lyons) Fox. After his high school graduation, David enlisted in the US Navy and would later work at the Erie County Water Authority, in Cheektowaga. He was married to the former Doreen Nielsen, who survives. David enjoyed the outdoors, especially of the Boston Conservation Club. He always kept himself around the house. Beside his wife, David is survived by a son, Tad (Renae) Dombroski of North Collins, and a daughter, Nicole R. Fox of West Falls. Also surviving are two step-sons, Tim (Missy) Ullinger of East Otto, and Brian (Melanie) Ullinger of Cassadaga, and a stepdaughter, Carrie (Ted) Heio of Jamestown. Also surviving are several grandchildren, grandpups, nieces, and nephews. Besides his parents, David is Sandra Fox on September 18, 1990, and his brother, Robert Fox. Private family services will be held. In lieu be made to Hospice Buffalo. Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main St. Gowanda.

Tina Marie Snyder (Csati) of Angola, NY Formerly of N. Collins, NY passed away March 17, 2023 at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Larry Snyder. Cherished mother of Lia Snyder (Brad Gier) and Craig (Cindy) Snyder. Grandmother of Camryn, Zoey, Josephine and Emma. Sister of Stephen (Dawn) Csati, Thomas (Francine) Csati, Lucy (Rick) Manguso, Anthony (June) Csati, Joanna (Bruce) McDougall and the late Michael Csati. Let The Planting Begin

On Saturday, February 25, 2023, members of the Eden Garden that will line the streets of Eden in late spring. The annual event began at the Zittel greenhouses. Club members planted 70 hanging baskets which will be cared for and nurtured by the joint efforts of, Agle’s Farm Market, Amos Zittel & Sons, Inc., W.D. Henry & Sons Inc., Kenneth Henry Sons, Inc., Henry’s Gardens, and Fernshaw Gardens, Inc.. From the greenhouse, garden club members moved their planting skills to the Eden Jr./Senior HS the Eden Town ground planters. At the school greenhouse, club members will water and care for the plantings on a daily basis. This process continues through the months of March, April, and May or until the plants are able to withstand the elements.
