Roger J. Thomas of North Collins entered into rest on June 2, 2023 at age 79. Survived by his loving wife of 47 years Judith Ann (nee Morlock) Thomas; dear son Preston (Nicole); cherished granddaughters Riley and Monica; dear brothers Gary (Marilou), Ronald (Christine), Jeffrey (Judith) Thomas and sister Karen (late Thomas) Schmittendorf. He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Rosebud (nee Bowen) and his brother Craig Thomas. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 4th at 10:30 AM at Holy Spirit Church, 2017 Halley Rd., North Collins. Memorials can be made to Hospice Buffalo. Beloved wife of Richard Borosky; Dear Mother of Richard F. and Salvatore “Sam” (Erin) Borosky; Grammy of Eleanor; sister of the late Salvatore, Russell “Rocky”, Anthony and Cassie LaRocco; Survived by Nieces and Nephews; BFF to Sharrie Fisher for 60 years; And Mother to “adopted” son J Bradley Clark. Friends called at the Latimore-Schiavone Funeral Home INC., 8434 N. Main St. Angola. Flowers gratefully declined. Gary J. Gierof Amherst, NY formerly of Eden, NY passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2023 at age 44. He is survived by his wife Kristen (nee Shutt) Gier. Gary was a devoted father to Kyla Gier; loving son of Gary and Kathryn (nee Wittmeyer) Gier; dear brother of Karen Hensen; caring uncle of Brooke and Paige Hensen; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Gary was employed at M&T Bank as a paralegal. He was a 1997 graduate of Eden High School and was a former member of the Eden Reserve Police and Eden Emergency Squad. Gary had an innate ability to befriend anyone he met and always went out of his way to help others. His smile could be seen across the room and his laugh was contagious. David L., Sion of Elma, NY formerly of East Eden, NY passed away suddenly July 24, 2023 at the age of 49 years. Loving life partner of Stacey Chavez. Beloved son of Donald and Linda (nee Courtney) Sion. Devoted brother of Donald “Duck” Sion, Jennifer Enterline and Amy Sion. Uncle of Elizabeth (Jarod) Millspaugh, Emily and Joseph Enterline. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. No prior visitation. A memorial graveside service from St. Mary’s Cemetery East Eden, NY will be announced at a later date. Dolores C. Gracz (Gierlach), age 82 of Eden, New York died July 18, 2023 in the Home of the Good Shepherd in Malta, NY, where she spent the last 2 years. There she received loving care from the staff, and in the end, wonderful care from Hospice. Dolores was born on November 13, 1940. She was a daughter of the late Tadeusz and Stella Gierlach. She grew up in Lackawanna, NY and lived in Eden, NY for 45 Years where she and her late husband Leonard raised their family. Dolores was a long time member of the Immaculate Conception Church, serving on several committees including the Funeral Luncheon Committee. She was a member of the Eden Senior Citizens. Dolores was always one to stay active and involved with in the Eden Community. She was the wife of the late Leonard Gracz who died December 21, 1999. She is the loving mother of Sue (Jill) Crary-Gracz, Julie Gracz and Mike (Erica Bigos) Gracz, and the caring grandmother of Regan and Kiernan Crary-Gracz. Visitation was held at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. A Mass was held in Immaculate Conception Church, Eden. Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church and the Eden Library. Joseph Seggio of Akron, NY formerly of North Collins, NY entered into rest July 19, 2023 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Karen (Valone) Seggio.
