Ronald “Rex” Kohn

Ronald “Rex” Kohn of New Oregon, NY entered into rest July 18, 2023 at the age of 70 years. Loving husband for over 37 years to Karen (Winters) Kohn. Son of Rose Marie (Spengler) Kohn and the late Francis Kohn Sr. Brother of Francis Jr. (Donna) Kohn, David (Cindy) Kohn, Joanne (Clyde) Hoffman and the late Marcia Bettinger and Norma Jean Kohn. Son-nephew of Scott Kohn. Proud uncle and great uncle of many nieces, nephews and friends. Brian J. Bush

We remember with heavy hearts the life of Brian J. Bush, a cherished resident of Holland, NY. On Friday, May 12th, 2023, at the age of 62, Brian peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by the love and support of his dear friend. Brian, a proud U.S. Army veteran, served his country with distinction at Fort Hood, Texas, including overseas deployments. His dedication and skill were recognized through numerous awards, earning him the distinction of an Expert in Rifle and Marksman. Brian’s military service exemplified his commitment to duty and demonstrated his unwavering patriotism. Brian was a devoted son, caring for his elderly parents, Eldred J. Bush and Betty M. (Tiffany) Bush. He selflessly attended to their needs in their twilight years, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to family and love. His mother, Betty, joined her husband Bud in May 2022, preceded in death by Brian's brother Jeffery. Brian is survived by his sister, Peggy (Mardy) Von Harten, and is remembered by his nieces and nephews. A flag ceremony will be held at Holland Community Center, 3 Legion Drive, Holland NY,14080. July 30th, 11AM.

Audrey Helen D´Angelo, 79, of Eden, New York, passed away on July 14, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with ALS. Audrey was born on March 2nd, 1944 to Joseph and Helen Spaeth in Amherst, New York. After graduating from Amherst Central School District in 1962, Audrey was married to Giuseppe D´Angelo in January 1966 and began to raise a family. She was mother to Suzanne D´Angelo (Greg Cich), Maria Moran (John), Cristina D´Angelo (Jane Marcotte), John D´Angelo (Kristy) and Patricia Murphy (Stephen). She was a grandmother to Rachael Sadkowski, Rebecca Sadkowski, Sarah Kolasz (Sean), Margaret Moran, John Michael Moran, Sophia Moran, Joseph D´Angelo, Abigail D´Angelo, Ryan Murphy, Annabella Murphy and Stephen Murphy. She was a great grandmother to Olivia Sadkowski, Arabella Ocasio, Isaiah Ocasio and Brandon Hearst. During her lifetime, she was a homemaker, business owner and administrator in the healthcare field. She loved to travel with her husband Giuseppe both domestically and abroad with a particular fondness for Florence, Italy. Audrey was always surrounded by her family, enjoyed great meals and great laughs and loved to discuss and consider current affairs. Audrey had an unwavering faith and was an active parishioner at the Immaculate Conception Church in Eden, New York. She provided leadership in a number of different capacities within this church that included fundraising, educational programming and numerous other roles within the organization. She was a beautiful person both inside and out with a smile that would light up a room. She was compassionate, fun spirited, quick to laugh and was deeply loved by the people around her. Until we meet again in Heaven, you will be forever missed. Visitation was held at the Laing Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from Immaculate Conception Church, Eden. Games begin at 1:30pm

Cornhole or Corn Toss is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called cornhole platforms and corn bags. Contestants take turns pitching their corn bags at the corn hole platform until a contestant reaches a score of 21 points. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. If you can aim and toss a corn bag 30 feet, you can master the game of Cornhole. Stop by and give it a try!
