International Students
The student visa's for the United States are called F-1 visas. These visas are issued to international students who are coming to the US to pursue a fulltime course of study at an accredited college, university, seminary, conservatory, academic high school, private elementary school, or other academic institution or language training program. The F-1 visa allows the student to study in the US for the duration of their program and also allows for limited employment opportunities such as oncampus employment, internships, and certain types of practical training. The J-1 status is often for students in specific exchange program such as Fulbright, or who are funded by their government M-1 visa is for vocational study for one year, and has limitations.
