03 Introduction

In order for us to make a new developed world with no space to build large houses, th eproject of making a micro kitchen and utilizing the smallest space possible but maximizing every littleopportunity.

A place like New York pictured below faces many challenges and one of them is having proper housing. A kitchen is probably the most useful rooom in any house. In designing a micro kitchen, we tare trying to solve a problem which big cities such as Newyork which is pictured

Exploration

Problem The problem that most Newyork residents face is that of space.

Their apartments are small and space is limited. Our main problem in this project is to try to fit a selcf-contained Kitchen in a 7ft wide space as well as a minimal depth. Another problem is that, we have to give the user control over all the appliances via one screen.

Solution Our solution to this challenge will be to have a kitchen with medium to small size custom made appliances. The screen will control most if not all our appliances and will be located above the stove just below the microwave. The next few pages will explain the kitchen sketch as well as the screen controls.

Conclusion

Solution The prototype interaction superceding the medium fidelity sketch has a lot more interaction and user experience feel. The final Micro Kitchen protptype meets user interaction, simplicity and communicates to the user at every stop of interaction. My solution was based on tackling a space problem but also a solution which users will feel comfortable in.
