Football coming home in South Belfast as Linfield Football Club grows
David Graham is the current general manager of Linfield Football Club having replaced Pat Fenlon in November 2022.
The 36 year old has outlined his ambitions to grow Linfield, both on and off the field.
He told EDA Media; “We already have the best academy in NI. We regularly send graduates to England and Scotland with five former players in the NI squad. At Linfield, we expect to win. Players, staff and fans are united in the demand for success. We have made several key signings and hope that [new signing] Matthew Fitzpatrick will score goals – he is a much needed addition to the squad.”
Before coming to Linfield Graham served previously as a Special Adviser at Stormont, Senior Parliamentary Aide at Westminster and then Director of communications at Rangers Football Club.
So far Graham is enjoying the challenges of his new role. He says: “No two days are the same. There is plenty of variety in the role. Aspects include football administration, building commercial partnerships and revenue, financial analysis as well as leading on the strategic direction of the club.”
Linfield have won 56 League titles since 1886, a world record.
David says: “Windsor Park is shared with the National team so we are very blessed to have a newly re-laid pitch and excellent training facilities as well as plans for an extended academy.
